- Chinese anatomy book & fundamentals review - Animation Human Body Structure Expression Techniques Special Training, or so it translates to. This book is huge and covers a lot of information that artists need to know, especially concentrating on fundanmentals ( exercises like turning boxes in 3d space ) and anatomy, as well as things like gesture, using reference and much more. Although it covers the fundamentals of things like drawing the human head and figure, which seem to match the Andrew Loomis method, the book / art work does have a style to it, which for me I really like and found more interesting than most similar books.
It's actually pretty difficult to explain the full content of this book but I will say the art work and examples of work throughout are beautiful. This book was pointed out to me in the comments of my Tomfox Draws book video, so I decided to check it out - when I saw a short video on it I was blown away and very excited to get the book. Although finding it online was quite tricky at the time, especially with the book being in Chinese. But I have since found a few places, so I will link below. The price is great for a book this size that also comes with a work book / booklet as shown in the video. I believe i have found the artist online so will add links below. What do you guys think to this one? For me I love this book, but I do wish there was an English version!

This is the book one of senior 3D artists in my studio recommended to me when we were working on one of the projects from A REALLY famous IP, I learned a lot using this book as a reference when sculpting stylized character model for that project.
Oh this is amazing to know!! There were a few comments that were dubious when I posted this one and said the material was potentially stolen or Ai in places etc so it's really good to know high level artists are recommending it too! Would love to see your art or know more of the studio if it's not private! Also thanks for watching and commenting
@@SketchedbySteI've noticed some comments of plagiarism in Chinese as well when looking up this tenten guy so there may be something to that
@@MFDOOOOM oh no way 😞 where abouts did you find it and what exactly are they saying ? Thanks for sharing
@@SketchedbySte I can't remember it was a year or so ago, he does online courses so it was in a review of that.
Ah so maybe it was a review of his wingfox course, I will see if I can find anything thank you
This is an absolutely fantastic book for artists. Most of this book is visual, requiring no understanding of Chinese. I would say that if you are more than a beginner than this book is for you. If you're wondering why Asian artists are so good, one reason is the number of "how to" books on drawing and painting anime and stylized art. It's insane. One artist who is an animator, but great for any artist is the Japanese artist Toshi. I could name countless others. Another great resource is Pixiv "Visions" which is an annual book showcasing many of the best artists for that year. Some really unique artists with breathtaking skills who don't go by the name of ASK, Guweiz, WLOP, Yoneyama Mai, Mika Pikazo, etc...
Some fantastic artists mentioned there, and then some I'm not as familiar with, if you do get chance, feel free to list some more as I would love to look into them - especially if they have any art books! I think I recognise some of those names from the 3Dtotal publishing books too. I also agree about this book being great for learning from a visual stand point even without the text ( although don't get me wrong, I would love to get an english version!! ) I find this one more interesting and inspiring than my other anatomy books, and I think a lot of it is down to the beautiful illustrations and the style. Thanks for watching!
Very insightful man I thought I was alone wondering what exactly is the ambrosia these eastern artists are eating to be so good.
You can just see it in every facet of art fundamentals the differences in thought. They think differently about shading, figure, line, construction of the body, how you should practice, subject matter it’s nuts.
This book I’m definitely gonna grab it 400 freaking pages of answers I’ve been looking for forever is insane.
@@SaltedMallows Art books are great, but another excellent resource is Coloso for video courses by some of the most talented Asian artists. They are on the pricey side even with discounts but top tier. There's even a course by Guweiz: Master Class Cinematic Illustrations. If you like anime-style there are courses by Mogoon, Okku, Chyan, Gatan, Seoji, etc. Many courses by Korean artists who tend to have a semi-realistic style like Tahra and Erak Note. I took the Erak Note course: Realistic Character Art in a Traditional Painting Style. Absolutely fantastic even if you prefer anime-style and stylized characters, which I do. One thing you notice when taking these courses or watching speed paint videos is that every artist has a unique workflow. I think everyone should develop their own unique workflow before focusing on style.
@@SketchedbySte Toshi has a number of character illustration books which are in Japanese, but again they are self explanatory. There are English google-translated version of his books available at some sites. One great one is published by Kadokawa titled *The Ultimate Handbook of Character Drawing* Toshi is an animator and his drawing skills are top tier. This book includes perspective box techniques for characters in difficult positions for dynamic poses and anime-style cell shading which is only one shadow color to create form, but he is so good at it which showcases his animator skills. Another highly recommended Toshi book is *Drawing Techniques for People* . His drawings are so dynamic even in static shots. Again his animator skills.
Other artists I recommend are Gatan, Tahra, Mogoon, Rella, LAM, Rolua, Fayjobore, and an oldie redjuice (he has many artbooks including *IGNITION* )
Also check out Coloso which offers courses by top Asian artists. There are likely many artists you've never heard of, but are incredibly skilled.
@@SketchedbySte There is an English google translated version of the book in the wild. Some of the machine translated English is hilarious. Here's one example discussing short hair and long hair: "Generally speaking, short-haired girls are more lively and cheerful, while long-haired girls will appear more quiet and dignified."
Don't forget that you can google translate text with your phone camera (at least on android anyway idk about ios). Obviously the translation is not going to be the greatest in the world but it should be good enough to get the message across. This would be very annoying to do for the whole book but if there is some part you're curious about it can be very useful. You can also write down the translation in the book with a pencil or something for future reference (or screenshot the translation in your phone).
This can also be super handly to translate the table of contents so you can jump to the part you want quickly.
Just an idea I wanted to throw out there.
Anyway I'm glad this video showed up in my recommended. This is exactly the type of book that I've been looking for and this is the first time I'm seriously considering buying a book after watching this type of video. So thanks for making this. Finally that youtube algorithm is worth a damn for once.
Yep that's how I usually do it with my chinese art books, it's not bad, but it can be quite slow and a bit of a pain sometimes, exactly like you said, so I certainly wouldn't complain at an English translated version of it. Then again, a lot of it can be picked up visually through the illustrations, or at least to some degree. Ah I am really pleased to hear that regarding my video appearing for you! If you get the book do let me know what you think to it. Thanks for watching!
There is a complete English Google translated version in the wild. Some of the machine translation can be humorous, but in general it isn't necessary as the art speaks for itself if you have experience: advanced beginner with understanding of fundamentals and basic knowledge of anatomy and figure drawing. Even for beginners, it offers a lot.

Thank you for flipping through the book, fortunately, I am Chinese so I can understand what the context is about.
@@sheenshinesun you're welcome! Oh man I wish I spoke Chinese after seeing some of these incredible books! Unfortunately I don't think it will ever happen 😆
I’m gonna be real man this book looks amazing. This is the kind of info it feels like doesn’t quite transfer from the east easily that’s hard to find when it comes to understanding how some of these great stylized artists work to the point you’d have to just go to china to study so to see a time of what’s basically a stylization bible come through is incredible. Definitely a lot of good exercises and you know what? I wouldn’t be surprised if they hired someone to make primitive 3D models not for paint over but as reference for presentation and honing in on making a drawing model for these tutorials.
Also I don’t mind you talking at length at all it’s very insightful it’s what I wanna hear for books like these you have a great channel for books and passion is good.
Yeah I must admit when I first started flicking through I was wondering if they were 3d models or painted mannequins! I think they are digitally painted, but like you said, they could have been created in 3d first for reference and accuracy - I think I saw Tenten post something recently on his artstation showing a basic breakdown using the same figure. It's a real shame that it's not in English though as people (myself included) have a lot of questions like that , that would be great to know. Then again I suppose I haven't been through the book and studied / used my translator app to check ( looks like there may be enough in there to last me a lifetime though haha). Also thank you for the comment, I always like to give my thoughts, but I know some people are not fans of that, but I always figured they could probably just mute me as a worst case anyway XD
There are so many top-tier Chinese artists because of fantastic resources, but one interesting artist is Bo Chen who is the Principle Illustrator of Riot Games. He studied at GuangZhou Academy of Fine Art and later became a teacher there. He transitioned to digital painting and if you're a League of Legends fan, you've seen his art. He's on YT and you can watch his videos showing his painting process of LoL art and there's Arcane-style art as well. It's worth watching to see his process. My understanding is that LoL art can take upwards of 80-100 hours or more.

The way I see it, you shouldn't cater to people that don't like your qualities. So if it makes you happy to speak on these things you'll find the audience that enjoys it if you stay committed to your passion.
Also I wanted to say the book creator is TenTen right? I have seen their videos on Bili Bili (chinese/asian youtube basically) and they do a lot of good demonstration drawings there using these methods all the time it's a good way to see how they implement it and they do so much with general drawing, painting and process using this method. Their videos feel as good as the stuff you might see on coloso or something. But it's free.
Definitely recommend checking them out and tips for using bili bili a translator does help but you can also login with google without having to make some random chinese social media account and giving your irl info etc like they ask for. I personally just sign in with google and add stuff to my Bili-Bili watch later and that's fine for me.

@@underafrozenmoon yep I think I put the info in the description already but I will add any extra info I can find from the comments, thanks for sharing!
Wait, the same Ten ten known as 1010 that worked on No Straight Roads game????
omg i have zero impulse control… i placed an order as soon as i finished this video 😂 but in all seriousness, i don’t think it’s an overstatement to say this is one of the greatest stylized anatomy books i have ever seen. as someone wanting to specialize in animation, it’s even better! someone said the quantity of content was overwhelming but that’s a huge plus point in my opinion. everyone’s different but i don’t want to have to sift through a thousand haphazard bite-sized books to learn. i would much rather have one main source of knowledge to reference (depending on what goal you want to achieve of course) so that i don’t feel overwhelmed deciding what to consult or how to dive into a topic.
coming from someone who has loomis, morpho, bridgeman, richard william’s animator’s survival guide, color and light (3dtotal), framed ink, how to draw by scott robertson, and even taco’s stylized approach art books - only a few have actually ‘clicked’ with me so to speak. i’m an intermediate artist really struggling to create a self-learning plan, barely getting through the books i currently have, so a single comprehensive source helps more than spreading myself thin. stonehouse anatomy almost struck gold similar to this book but the biological essentialism in terms of race/sex really wasn’t for me nor was it completely accurate (people enjoyed the author’s silly character and remarks on each page but much of it made me uncomfortable so respectfully sitting that one out). also, how can you not adore the sculptor’s approach this artist has to their work? absolutely stunning!
haha you sound exactly like me, when once of my viewers mentioned another anatomy book I almost didn't even bother looking. Then I looked and was blown away and couldn't hold off buying it! I had a hard time actually finding it online to buy at the time though due to the rough translated title. Really pleased I found it though. It seems a lot of people are really excited about it, would love to hear your thoughts on it when it arrives!!
I have also come from books that you mentioned like Loomis, Morpho, 3Dtotal books etc etc, ( haven't tried the animators survival guide yet, always tempted but I'm never sure if it's just the same info I have already or not ) and I do sometimes struggle to take in the information, and start to feel a little drained studying some of those resources, but the style and images in this one really stood out to me and made it look more 'fun' or 'exciting' to work from. It got me feeling pumped and inspired XD!! Thanks for watching
This is a beautiful book. I do hope it gets popular enough to get different translations and countries.
The style is not very “Chinese” but more anime and gaming character designs. Very cool.
yeah I absolutely loved the style for this one, really unique and pleasing ! After seeing how popular this video got for such a small channel, and see how much the price shot up everywhere when I released it, I am pretty sure it sold a LOT - so I was also hoping they would release an English version, maybe it's in the making - fingers crossed!

This book and kama Sutra = best books EVER!!!!!
XD
I was looking at anatomy books and OMG this book is so so good!
Simple presentation and construction, multiple drawings with angle to properly visualise the form, direct application to men and women, no wall of text!
Usually problems are academic representation of muscles with a male body so it’s hard to translate fine detail to women or wall of texts or very few drawing with angle so it’s hard to properly visual complex form.
Well said! I have quite a lot of drawing books & anatomy books now and this one gets me really hyped and inspired - Admittedly I haven't studies all my books front to back, as I probably have several lifetimes worth XD but I am always excited to dig into this one and I love how it's layed out, as well as the examples given. @@MartinhoIsidroCorreia nice one! I know since I posted this video the price has been fluctuating like mad. Let me know what you think to the book!
Man, that book seems so interesting,
i might want to look for it to my book collection 😺👍.
Great book and worth adding to your collection. It's self explanatory and doesn't require knowledge of Chinese. It's the universal language of art.
Yeah I think it's a great one to get, it's a pretty exciting and inspiring book to me, and judging from the other comments I am not alone! Although I'm not sure how likely this one is to appear in the local book shop :( but you never know!!
You could have done a 30 minute video on this review (and should have). It's a really nice book and I have one ordered. A lot is covered in the pages. I'm interested in the boxed out anatomy builds. Thumbs up.
Thanks for watching! Yeah I had to cut this video down a lot so that it wouldn't be overly long, as I tend to lose audience retention after a while, but I wasn't expecting it to be quite as popular as this, despite me being so excited about the book ( not that I am complaining! ) but maybe I should have made a longer video after all! Maybe after I have studied enough from it XD
There's nothing here that can't be found elsewhere, and maybe that's just as well; not understanding Chinese won't be that much of a disadvantage, as the intention should be clear. Bringing all this material together in one place is impressive. The only drawback I saw (and you mentioned it yourself) is that there is an over-reliance on anime-style graphics. *$65* is not unreasonable for such a big, information-packed volume. Thanks for posting!
Yeah that's a fair comment. I guess if you like to have all the information in one book it could still be handy. For me I found it quite inspiring when I was flicking through, so that's always a winner with an art book. Yeah you're right about the style side being slightly towards an eastern / anime style. I thought it was still good, as it still covered fundamentals such as the loomis method and realistic proportions, but it may be the stylisation side of it that stood out to me and made it a little more 'exciting' than a lot of the other books I own on similar topics. But this could definitely be a downside too, especially if the style doesn't appeal to the individual. Thanks for watching!
Incredible book for someone, who's above the basics of constructive perspective, but looking forward to learning anatomy and characters.
Thanks for watching and commenting! Yeah a lot of people agree that this book is probably best aimed at anyone who is just passed the basics :)
Just ordered it 👌
Let me know what you think to it :)
Wow! Everything in this book is incredible. Do you recommend this book for beginners?
Yeah that was my reaction too! Hmm that's a tough question, because as a beginner I would have loved it, but at the same time it could be overwhelming, especially with the language barrier for me. I have had others in the comments say they don't think this is as suitable for complete beginners as it would be for intermediate, so everyone is going to have a different opinion. I will say that I couldn't comment completely though because I haven't studied much of the book yet, it will probably take me a life time XD. I will say that for me I picked it up at a good price at the time though and find it inspiring, so that alone is enough to benefit me. If you are going to work from the book / learn from the reference, turning basic shapes etc and understand the thinking behind it then in my opinion yes :) Thanks for watching
There is a website called Drawabox has a free drawing course perfect for beginners, just thought I'd mention it.
i have been learning to draw anime faces for a while, this book contain so many useful tips for anime as well as realistic faces hope they publish a translated version of it

Pretty cool stuff! Based on a quick glance at the illustrations, it seems like this book has borrowed ideas from Michael Hampton's anatomy book, considering the simplified figures and whatnot resemble that of Hampton's. Great overview! Is Michael possibly mentioned somewhere in the book?
For some reason I still don't have the Michael Hampton anatomy book ( I'm not sure how I have managed that! ) so I couldn't say exactly, but I am definitely intrigued by it if it has similar mannequins / figure breakdowns to this, as it's onw of the things I liked about this book when I checked through. I haven't studies from the book yet though so I couldn't give much more detail then I showed in the video, hopefully others can help though! Thanks for watching

@@SketchedbySte yeah, I think it's fine with art books because it's mostly because and there's really never that much instruction in art books. But if it was like a different subject where it means precise explanation I definitely would hit by it in another language. omg learning Chinese NOW!! haha but fr this is amazing is the whole book by ten-ten or are there other contributors. I am digging his artstation looks like a bunch of the pages from the book on there i would love to watch a timelapse or tutorial of his.
haha that is certainly one way around it! Hmm I would have to double check, I know Tenten is the artist, but someone else was definitely mentioned along with him at the beginning of the book, I'm not sure if it was an artist or maybe someone who help write or publish the book. A few other comments have always been wondering whether it is solely him or not. I was wondering if he replied on Artstation or anything for us to ask a lot of questions about this book, but I'm not sure if he replies or speaks English. Thanks for watching!
Awesome find! It's so risky to buy anatomy books now with AI on the rise, and it's only going to get harder. This looks really good.
@@TobiNano thanks for watching. Yeah I've noticed on amazon recently a ton of fully ai generated books and some of them are quite convincing. It's a shame they don't have to write that somewhere, a lot of reviews on some where people definitely have no clue it's ai - I'm sure it will only get worse:(
Do you know if we will have a translation for this book anytime? (and could you provide the link for the second book?)
@@Trenshi. hey. Unfortunately no news that I have heard yet. But after I made this video I think it became quite popular so I was really hoping it would help them realise there is an English speaking market for the book. Hopefully one day! When you say second book, do yoy mean the work book shown in this video? If so it all comes together :)
@@SketchedbySte yeh, thanks! sorry if you said it on the video im not good at listening english
@Trenshi. not at all, it was a good question! 😀
I think the name of the artist for the grayscale hardcover is named TenTen. He has a Wingfox as well as an artstation page.
Yeah Tenten is the artist (links in the description box to his artstation). Have you tried his Wingfox course? would love to hear some reviews as I am not sure if it's in Chinese or whether it has English subs etc. Thanks!
@@SketchedbySte It has English subtitles trough the AI translator they use I didn't follow the course yet I only watched the first video to see how the subtitles are quality wise. I don't understand Chinese so I can't attest to any errors in the translation but my first impression is that they do a decent job.
@@Dakhin_ Brilliant thank you for letting us know! When you do get ruond to watching the course I would love to know your thoughts if you're happy to update us.
I may not be able to read chinese but i understood every page. Just seeing the drawings you already know what his tryin to say. Some pages are translated in his artstation tho.
@@battz7252 very well said! Definitely the sign of a good book, and exactly why I couldn't resist buying it haha. A lot of other comments agree too! I didn't realise they were translated on his artstation but thats awesome I will take a look thank you!

I think, its more of his insight in drawing tasks with his students and what relatively they get wrong like joints and how to properly to use the box model. (that has eng translation) Nonetheless its still pretty cool to checkout.

Does the work book come with the main one or is that a separate purchase? Would love to have that as well!
It all came together :) So not a separate purchase. I did email the seller first just to confirm that it was all included to be safe, but I would assume it's standard too. Thanks for watching!
Great! Appreciate the quick response 👍
I’ve seen a couple of his studies but didn’t know he had a book ❤. Just placed an order for it. How many workbooks does it comes with?
Yeah he has a video course on Wingfox too! I haven't tried it though. It's just 1 workbook that comes with the bigger book. Thanks for watching

Yeah they really do, I must admit when I looked at this my first thought was this looks so much more fun than my other books of the same type lol!
Love Tenten, his class on Wingfox is awesome and fairly priced, learned a ton about shapes and shading. I didn't quite like the books though.
Thank you for the comment I was hoping someone could tell us more about Tentens Wingfox class, so it's great to find someone who has taken it. Is it very different from the book and does it have english translations or is it in Chinese? Many thanks
i want this book as a sculptor, but i need translate
Yeah unfortunately the language is the biggest down side for me too. I couldn't resist buying it still though, the images are quite self explanatory in parts :) Thanks for watching
I just got mine for 70$ USD from aliexpress. It was shipped without the box and pages seem a bit darker than your copy. The seller said it was a genuine copy so I don't know if I got ripped off or not...
Hey. The price has been ranging a lot since I made this video as a lot of people have been buying it ( the video took off quite a lot for a small channel like mine ). But regarding the pages being darker. They are definitely not fully white, they are an off white, but I did up the contrast on my video slightly due to my poor lighting, because my video made it look really dark and hard to see - so its possible that I have over brightened it, so maybe that gives you hope that it's legit? Feel free to send me a pic on Insta or something if you want me to check mine in comparison. So yours didn't come in the card box? did it arrive with the extra leaflet thing and extra work book?
@@SketchedbySte yeah it came with everything else. Good to know about the contrast. I don't think my camera would make it look good anyway cause I have an old phone so don't think a comparison would be fair. Anyway I did contact the seller so we'll see what he says. Thanks for the extra info though :)
I wish there’s an English version though intermediate to pro artist can pick this up quickly
There are 'ai' translated versions to english out there a few people are saying, but I would really love an official physical book in English!
@@SketchedbySte true
Very cool book!
@@MANIAKRA I thought so too! Thanks for watching
Would you recommend this book for beginners?
Hey. If the person is dedicated enough and willing to work through translating the book then I think so yes! That being said, the sheer size of it and the information might be a little too much for some people who haven't got any other experience at all, especially with the language barrier. So it's somewhat down to the individual ( probably not very helpful sorry)
@@SketchedbySteI see thank you. I’ve done drawings before with inanimate objects with charcoal. I always wanted to do some anatomy this time in my work. I meant is can this book be for beginners who had less time with anatomy? Apologies. Ty for the reply though. Ultimately I just want to know in your opinion if this book is good for an intro to anatomy?
I recognized a few of those characters, and can only guess that the makers of the book don't care much about copyrights/licensing.
@@wakkaseta8351 which ones was it you recognised out of curiosity? I think some of them are on Tentens pages (the mannequin simplified form type figures) but a few other people have mentioned that some of the content could be taken from elsewhere so you might be right

@@KingAchilles-ce7ho good question, unfortunately not no, the paper on this is not as good. It's quite cheap thin paper, luckily it's not a big issue for a tutorial book when compared to an art of book (in my opinion at least) also that's the case with my copy but you never know mine might not be legit - although I'm pretty sure it is
Where do I order it from.
Hey, this is where I got mine - amzn.to/44ul7Ad

@SketchedbySte hey, no, it's OK. I ordered it, already.
Iphones can translate automatically with their translate app, I'm not sure if android has something similar, it's worth every penny.
Thanks for sharing. Yeah Android phones have something built it on the camera, although I must admit it's frustratingly slow if you're working through something as big as this XD
Yeah, too bad that book is not in English otherwise I'd order it in a heartbeat. Or get the Kindle version since it seems to be a modern book by modern artist who use digital art. Still I put it on save for later in my cart on Amazon and it's priced very fairly.
Yeah I must agree, making an English version would make things much easier for a lot of us XD I still couldn't resist buying the chinese version though, and still find it very exciting and inspiring from the images alone. It seems from all the comments and views this video is getting, that an English version would certainly be popular though, I wonder if there is a way we can suggest this to the publisher
I am in confusion to buy one of these books can you please suggest one ? 1. This book mentioned in the video 2. Taco books 3. Roche kim anatomy book 4.tomfox book 5.michael hampton . I already have stonehouse book.
Get all of them😂😂
Hey, thanks for watching / commenting! So it kind of depends, are you working specifically on Anatomy? or Gesture, or something else? I actually don't have the Michael Hampton book but I need to get hold of a copy and see what it's like, I think others highly recommend it though! If you already have the Stonehouse anatomy book then you actually have an extremely comprehensive anatomy book already! - the issue is, for me at least that it can be quite overwhelming. Something Like the Taco books are really nice to have on the side to pick up some really easy / simplified tips that can be used on the side of these bigger books, much less overwhelming too. I do like the Tomfox draws book aswell, again for the simplification of the figure and learning how to draw in 3d space. That being said, all of the books you listed have a ton of information, so whichever you start with, it should keep you busy for a very long time!! Let me know what you go for :)

Hello! Vert gold book
Where to find it?
Hello this is the one that I purchased, but it is available on other sites like aliexpress ( but I haven't tested those copies) - amzn.to/44ul7Ad
Can you please suggest best anatomy books for a beginner and a intermediate levels ?
People always like to recommend the Andrew Loomis book, which yes is great, but for me I find it quite difficult for some reason, like the wording of it doesn't seem to stick with me well. But I do like the TomFox draws book which focuses more on mannequins and breaking the muscles down into quite basic forms. I do think That anatomy can be complex, but doesn't need to be for a lot of us artists, so I also think the Taco books are fantastic as 'quick tips' for simplification purposes. i watch attach the videos: TomFox draws - ua-cam.com/video/qO0bJY6yKlI/v-deo.html
Taco Point character drawing - ua-cam.com/video/wMJP81LLveE/v-deo.html
The Rochke Kim book or Stonehouse Anatomy are great if you want to get more advanced, but also they are quite over whelming in some ways - ua-cam.com/video/WmbB55d3_FM/v-deo.html
Also the proko Anatomy course is in my opinion the best out there, but again, it's a LOT of over whelming information for a beginner in my opinion

I haven't scammed anyone, it's just they have upped the price since this video took off, you can see it if you look at a price tracker, I paid about a third of that when I bought it and added the link. The link also should take you to the relevant website for your country, so the price will also vary on each one. Hey, thanks for the suggestion. I just had a quick look and it does look quite interesting and simplified as a reference book. But I am just looking into the company now, and I can see they have appeared from no where and released a large selection of books in a very short space of time, in a range of styles - I can see one that is facial expressions, and whilst it looks like it has really awesome stylised faces, it reminds me A LOT of the AI generated books for drawing faces that are going round. Do you know if this company is using AI to create these books? a lot of newer books popping up now are AI you see. Maybe others in the comments can help too. Thanks for watching
Just saw their '450 ink tattoo art' book as well as I am quite confident from the cover that those are AI generated designs - don't get me wrong they look awesome, but I do think this company is using AI. I might message them and ask, give them the benefit of the doubt

@@SketchedbySte Of course, the knowledge points in the book are quite scattered.
