Stiffelio is one of Verdi's most unappreciated operas. No full score exists in a PDF format, so I thought I would just post this segment here. It is one of the most touching and moving moments in all Verdi.

Oh God! Where am I?
What strange power draws me here?
He will come! ...Here? Where everything is horror?
On each tomb I find my crime, carved with frightening letters.
With each murmuring breeze I hear a thundrous reprimand.
Ah! This is the sacred tomb of my mother.
She, so pure... and I! Mother! Assist me in my grief!

Ah, from the heavenly thrones where you calmly sit,
turn to your daughter, and please see her misery.
Offer my tears to the throne of the Almighty,
and if the angels weep, weep with me as well.
God shall not deny me His forgiveness for your sake!

I love this opera!!! yes, it is MASSIVELY underrated, and yes, this aria is a gorgeous heartbreaker of a moment.
