Jesse is 3 and in the stage where he doesn’t nap in the day anymore and it’s so difficult. It’s also the really light evenings which are throwing Jesse, he just says it’s wake up time.
I love how honest and relatable your vlogs are, and how much you manage to squeeze into a day. The meals you plan and cook always look and sound so appetising. Can you please include some links
Our 3 year old was exactly the same! He was just switching programs every 3 seconds and was addicted to the TV. We cut it down and saw a difference. Garden is a great place and we encourage him to play outside after nursery too instead of watching TV. It’s so difficult to raise children but we are doing our best and you are great mummy Shan remember ♥️
Just wanted to add, i know its so hard to find time in the day to do things when the babies are little but i really don't think you should be leaving a 1y old alone in the kitchen eating while you go into the garden to sort washing out. It didnt even look like she was buckled into her highchair? (I dont have the same one so obviously could be wrong about that). Accidents can happen so quickly please be careful x
It may help you, it definitely did me. But I had another baby monitor for down stairs.. so when I had to leave my girls down stairs even for a minute I could watch them on camera! Just an idea that could put your mind at rest when you doing the washing in garden or putting George to bed etc
When the hose decided to spray you - that kind of sh*t happens to me hahahaha 😂 this run around vlog is so realistic! Even though this is my type of day, I enjoyed watching another mum doing the same thing ❤️
That hose has it out for me 😂💀 but like you said, we’re all living the same life, just keeping our family ticking overrrr! Sometimes it’s comforting to know that we’re all in this together 🥹
Bless you. Halles little hair is so freaking cute! ❤ glad you had a productive day, I feel like I never get anything done even when I have one child at nursery 😂
My son is exactly like George and your vlogs are the only ones that make me feel less alone in the tricky times of needing a nap but not needing a nap and tired possessed child 😂
Have you thought about getting George a beanbag or a tent? Then that can be his ‘safe place’ to cry, scream or shout. When he begins just say ‘Let’s go to your safe place, and when you are ready and it’s over, come and find me’. Take him by the hand (don’t carry) and lead him to the safe place. If he leaves and is still not calm, then take him back. He’ll have to learn this new routine but children normally take to this strategy quickly, The safe place can be anyway, just a quiet place in the home x
Doing amazing (you were only hanging up washing so ok to leave her for a minute!) my two (6 and 4) can be best of mates or fight. I agree on the tv side of things, if mine watch too much after school then they can be wild! I much prefer Tesco and Asda for my shopping but I only ever do click and collect as I probably wouldn’t stick to my budget of £70-85 a week. I would walk in and start buying the clothes, garden home ware etc so resist it by picking the shopping up. But i still get a top up shop of bread or milk as and when xx
To help with meal planning, we have a spreadsheet with all the meals we like separated into category ie. Fish, chicken, veggie etc. Then when we plan our meals, we pick a couple from each category. Also added links/recipe book pages to each meal so hubby has no excuse not to cook!
Love these vlogs. Keeping it real! You're doing amazing! I have a 3 year old and 6 year old and they are constantly fighting at the moment plus the sleep during summer time is so rubbish!
I’m back to work this week after pretty much back to back mat leaves. Nosing in your trolley was just the distraction I needed! I absolutely love a good grocery haul (should I admit this? 🤣) Great vlog as always. PS what a healthy trolley… where’s the choc? 🤣
So relatable! Why do they only wreck the bedding when you've just washed it haha. Then getting soaked by the hose whilst trying to get your life together, typical! X
Maybe think about out sourcing the washing?. It will you more time to focus on what you wanna do. Francesca amber law of attraction has someone who comes and takes the washing and even puts it away, I know it’s an expense but it it will mean you can edit more etc. just an idea ❤😊 anything you can outsource think about it xxx
See whenever you turn your face and your camera takes a moment to focus, the filter you have over your face turns off and I just want to say you look so so so much better without the filter. You have beautiful skin, I don't understand why you use a beautifying filter on your videos because you look great without it honey. The filter on your face when you're standing next to a bright window just looks incredibly blurred and doesn't look right. With me saying that, I understand why people that have UA-cam as their job will want to do it, but you really don't need it lovely.
I’m at that point with naps with my nearly two year old and I don’t know what to do like he needs a nap but bedtime is half 10 and I’ve just had my second 5 days ago and it’s killing me, I breastfeed aswell and it just drains me! I need that nap in the day and time without him but also need the evening I don’t know which to choose lol
Hi love! I wondered if you could share what coffee machine you have and if you rate it? I am so ready to move on from capsules and remember you getting a ‘proper’ coffee machine!
Normal to wet at night until 9 I think as its hormonal so something we can't control. A pull up nappy will save a lot of washing even if dry most mornings
I agree, it was just a turn of phrase. Of course it’s not his fault at all. It’s just not usual for him, but it’s probably where he’s been drinking more water in the evenings where it’s been hot xxx
@@serenagrace8493we’ve tried pull ups but he absolutely refuses to where them. It’s full on meltdowns if it’s even suggested, he’s a headstrong little lad 😅
My 3 year old often refuses his nightime diaper too, to avoid the excessive washing I often let him fall asleep with no diaper, and then I put it on him an hour larer when he is asleep.
@@HomeWithShanour little girl is the same. Doesn't often have accidents but we've put a puppy training pad under her bed sheet in case she does. Makes our life easier, and no arguments 😊
The little baby hands trying to grab everything you put in the trolley is so relatable 😂

Aw thanks girl!! We’re all just muddling through this motherhood life aren’t we haha! ♥️

I second this! Makes me feel heard 😂 cannot relate to the vlogs where the kids wake up at 8/9am and play independently all day long 😂 x

Spending 75 per cent of the day standing speaking into a phone isn't a representation of a normal day in the life of a mom
So true
❤❤❤ these vlogs r like having another mum friend
For meal ideas perhaps have a look through your Hello Fresh recipe cards from previous weeks, there must be a lot to choose from x

“I’m actually sweating” while wearing jeans…..
This channel should just be called “I’m not gonna lie”
In the nap dichotomy at the moment, it’s tough!
That hose is obvs on George’s team 😂
The hose😂 my favourite UA-camr by far! Love your vlogs x

I don't think George is 'deciding' to have accidents, it'll still be down to hormones at that age x
