24 years later, I still think that this is the best romantic film ever made. It's perfect in every sense of the word. Can as the final ? the last few frames of them sitting on the park bench is the bench they discovered earlier in the film where they both had to jump over the gate to get access to the park.

Besides, as Matt Damon's wife said “When you meet somebody that you have a connection with, that’s just the person that you have a connection with, all the other stuff- the movie-star part-wasn’t really a factor. Can’t even begin to count how many times I’ve seen this film. As someone who works from home, i like to have movies on while I work, but something that I’ve seen before so that it doesn’t take me away from what I’m doing but provides background happiness. This movie is the perfect combination of incredible on screen chemistry, everything that’s great about England, plus a little bit about what’s bad, and the two best smiles in film today.

The way he hides behind a reporter when question comes about the graphic photos, how Anna is curious and eager to hear the second question, the exchange before she says "indefinitely", the confused manager scratching his head, the reactions from the photographers and reporters and the bright heartwarming smiles with eyes locked on eachother with chaos around.. and then the song.. perfect..
