The way the melodies float on top of the chaos is so beautiful!
This is one of their best for sure! A perfect blend of catchy melodies without being overly technical.
Totally agree!
I get so emotional too. So much heart in this music.
wildly adventurous and pushing the edge... man o man... surfing with multiple aliens at the same time :-D ,, I love how the key can be agressive.. what a collection of talent
“I’m a total wreck when I watch stuff like this from them”. You and me both. Their music has some magic to it
You're absolutely right about their ability to blend technical with melody. It allows their music to be more palatable to a wider audience. Dream Theater does it in a different way where they use vocals\choruses to bring a listener who may be 'lost in the weeds' during one of the more technical segments. It's no surprise AE was asked to open for DT, both are on an absolute obscene level for songwriting. DT has been my fave band for over two decades. AE has been the only band since discovering DT to really instill that sense of awe at the beauty of this approach - blending technical with more easy listening elements. It keeps the listener engaged the entire time. What I love about AE over DT is the fact that they use lead guitar\keys riffs to serve as the vocalist. They essentially found a way to do what DT did\does, but make it entirely instrumental. And that's why they're my #2 fave band (DT has to stay #1, they have a massive library and I got through some pretty rough times thanks to their music).
The segment that starts at 01:40 (in this video) has got to be my fave in this one!!
Love this one. They're playing with themes more and more, and it glues together the technical brilliance so well.
That's a great shirt you're wearing! It reminds me of a sweatshirt I have... Some amazing band that more people ought to know about. 🤔
It’s a really nice shirt from them too! One of my favorite shirts to wear. Ya for sure…more people need to know about this band!
Apex predators of music. They absolutely 'KILL!!!' It's Cosmic genius.
This is a fantastic take - 11/10!!! 🎉 ✨
Still one of the most underrated group of musicians around today. I feel like most prog metal fans just might not have enough time and/or attention to spare for instrumental bands, and the likes of AAL, Plini and Polyphia are already saturating that. This entire band is prolific though, and I really hope they push through to a new level of appreciation in 2023
Your best analysis of all time!!
Thanks brother 😊🫶
Hell yes! This is one of the best things I’ve heard in a while!!
Thanks, Jeff. Complex but simply amazing. Feels so good. Gotta love Æ.
Just a driving song with incredible transitions. Musicality is poetry in motion. A melody with high octane kicking playing
This song just turned two new subscribers to your channel as well as Patreon (I hope) when they heard it while I was eating breakfast at a Best Western. They literally hijacked my phone and went through the playlist....LOL!!
YASSSS!!! 🤩
Great music, great band 👍😊
I knew you'd like that one! I wish I could write something like that!
Right?!
I can say, in no uncertain terms, this album is great, but I much prefer their second. But, this is absolutely one of the best songs of #3, there’s no competition - only a level with Aluminosity! ✨
Richie was at his absolute best!
As always, you are tuned on the best emerging music. A real saucerful of secrets (copyright Pink Floyd, 1968...) :)
Thank you Lino!
@@StrateleStudios It's to me the due to thank you for your very efficient "antenna" on musical discoveries of all kinds.
