Hey man, thank you so much for listening and enjoying. You are fantastic and it brings me so much joy to see how much fun you had with our song. We hope to see you next time we're on tour! Keep being awesome!
Hey Richie! It’s well deserved. It’s obvious how much you and the guys work on your craft both individually and as a band. I’m serious when I say you guys are truly next level in this genre and I’ve lived enough years to say that with authority. I’ve got some more reaction vids coming up with you guys, you deserve the recognition! All my best brother. 🤝
Another one for you:

Richie, I saw your band in Akron Ohio and I was just blown away. I was there to see Dream Theater, but I ended up buying your album while I sat in the theater. Your cymbal work in polyrhythms is unmatched. Forever fan here.
The emotional response you had melted me, man. I'm so thankful for people like you that love and appreciate the beauty of excellent music so much that they'd be moved to tears.
My brother, you have made my day. Thank you for this heartfelt comment it means a lot to me!
You mirrored my emotions when I listen to Arch Echo exactly. They're probably the ultimate "musician's band". Can't stop asking myself "how the fuck did these guys write this?" It's so amazing.
As some who studied jazz in college, this is a perfect example of a band that can accurately be called jazz metal
Yes, I agree, those chord changes are unmistakable and a good description 👌
you missed the progressive funk and electronic part they're basically a fusion of 5 different genres
Loved this reaction. Someone who feels the same was about this music as I do
Nice to know I have company Douglas! 😊😊😊🤝
Dude..... The F**k did I just watch??? WOW This was one of the most complex, well performed delicious pieces of ear candy I have heard in a long time. I need to watch it a few more times to catch what I know I missed while my jaw was on the coffee table. Thanks for sharing this Jeff :)
Right?! WTF?...SO glad you are right there with me Edward and appreciate this! I'll be sharing more bands like this on the channel. They need to be seen!
So hype you've discovered this band. I absolutely love this band.
I love these guys...I'm going to have to do more reactions to them on the Patreon site! How does that sound my friend?!
You know, if you love this song.... You'll probably *REALLY* love.....
All their songs.
😂🤣🤣👏
This album was on my recommended on UA-cam several years back (2018 I believe…) and I initially started listening to it and couldn’t quite connect with it, but then this song came up as a single video and I was instantly like 👀 so I started listening and I think they broke my mind lmfao - they’ve been my favourite band to this day haha. I still can’t quite figure out what’s going on even though I listen to their back catalogue frequently and have some kind of *general* understanding, they’re still incomprehensible to me hahahaha! 😳💖
The synapses in my brain just go wild when I hear these guys. So amazing! 😃😃😃
These kids are amazing!!!!
Next level stuff! Check out my interview with their drummer Richie if you haven’t yet
The amazing thing with this band is how joyful and funny their music is. As intricate as it may be, it feels like a feather. Arch Echo have brought a gentle touch into my life lately.
You are so right! 😊😊😊
Hey my friend Arch Echo is a great talent prog band .Greatings 👋
Yo, whoever suggested this as a first reaction - braaaavo, BRAAAVVVOOOOOO 😂 🤩 👏🏻 🎉 👌🏼 🕺🏻 💖
Your reaction was literally mine when I first heard this!!! I was just filled with joy, being surprised by every turn they took!!!!!
These guys just floor me. What a great surprise! Did you catch my pinned comment from Ritchie the drummer?
Nuts. What a discovery!
Thanks for showing me another wonderfull band! Wow!
Oh man, SO glad you liked them! I loved discovering new bands like this. When I do I will definitely share them on the channel!
To the Moon and Leonessa off of their latest EP are masterpieces imo.
I heard To The Moon was AWESOME! I haven't heard it yet and I can't wait to!!! (and now Lionessa as well)
Agreed, I'm also a huge fan of Measure of a Life.
I absolutely love that the Dirty Loops music book is in the background of this haha 😄
😄😄😄
Just found you! I can't get enough of your passion and joy! Subscribed, sir!
Woohoo! Welcome! 🎊🎉🫶
What a wonderful reaction...the sincerity is beautiful!
What a band 👍
Man, I love these guys!
This is my husbands band 😃😃😃😃😃😃 thanks for reviewing ! ❤️
Hi Alexa! Which one is your hubby?
@@StrateleStudios
Adam Rafowitz - the lead guitarist 😄😄 the one you see at the start of the vid 😃
@@alexahenderson1044 Adam is an absolute legend. I’m not impressed by many guitar players but he is beyond great! Thank you for gracing my channel! 🎊🎉❤️🎸
Another one for you:

After I discovered these guys on my UA-cam feed I started playing their music on breaks at our bar band gigs.Everyone was impressed but didn't know what to make of it.Fusion metal?Prog metal?Being a Jeff Beck fan I liked how the guitar's sing instead of shredding scales all over the place.Very tasteful. The drummer is powerhouse & Chick Corea or Jan Hammer got nothin' on this keyboard player. All in all to me it sounds likes the future has arrived. To top it of I heard this band hardly rehearses because they prepare on their workstations in different cities.I say you gotta be f**king kidding me!Most of all the pure joy they exude is refreshing & it's nice to be excited about music again. Thanks Arch Echo.
Check out my interview with the drummer Richie Martinez for tons of inside info on the band!
I thank You for this comment! I have learned more for the music than for a lifetime in my broken country… I thank you 🙏✌️
That's about how we (AE fans) listen to their songs :)
Love the heartfelt reaction, almost looked like you were on the verge of tears at one point!!
Hahaha probably…it wouldn’t be the first time!
@@StrateleStudios check out physical education by Animals as Leaders, very groovy and technical at parts but just like color wheel can still conjure up alot of emotion.
Oh that keyboard!!
Dude is SMOKIN!
Man, I love those notes and chord progressions, kind of a jazzy vibe mixed in with dream theater, Rush etc. Plus I like the percussive sound of the bass player. I need to learn some of those chords. Awesome song 👍
Your body language "sigh.." at they keyboard solo 6:27 lives rent free in my heart and gets me through the tough times. Your vulnurability in processing the art is so special to me. Thank you!
Man, never a dull moment! The reach peak after peak. Reminds me of being 20 again!
Hahaha, you remember your 20s?!
The spices and unexpected flavors they add, with a little pinch of salt.
Yes!
These guys are AMAZING! I love this band so much. A refreshing take on prog rock/metal
I absolutely love your reaction and opinions!!! So glad I came across your channel lol
🎉🤝👏 I’m glad to! I have more Arch Echo coming soon!
Absolutely love this band, thanks for checking them out. Great stuff as always.
I have another one coming up soon! Love these guys!
@@StrateleStudios fantastic, and thank you so much for actually listening to the recommendation! Just shows how open you are and that you actually read and care about the comments! Not everyone does, even on smaller channels. Your enthusiasm is infectious sir.
@@firetripper85 ah thank you so much! :)
EPIC x 100!!!!!
Gotta love those Berklee grad bands!
Too bad we didn’t go there Kev! 😃
@@StrateleStudios I would have flunked out anyways. I suck compared to them. 😂
@@sizzlemann naw you would have showed them a thing or two about arranging my friend
@@StrateleStudios haha! You're too kind!
@@sizzlemann hey, I only play with the best musicians!
(If any viewers are reading this, this is the badass keyboardist of my band Hollander…say “hi” to Kevin!)
Love the rhythm guitar at the 5 min. mark behind the lead guitar. Nice scene changes. Cool new band to check out. Great reaction
That is cool!!! Thanks Todd :)
This was a really good first choice. I have Just recently discover them. What a phenomenal performance. So many people write on UA-cam "they don't make great music anymore". Shall we believe that? No, these people are super musicians and make super music. And there are so many fantastic musicians nowadays. I can't really understand how it's possible to play like this.
Great music is happening now and I’m hoping this channel can showcase that! Thanks Tore!
@@StrateleStudios Yes, it has done already and will do 👍
This video had me convinced really quick to subscribe to your channel. Based on your emotional reaction.
Thanks Chip!
'Lights, Camera, . . . . ACTION!!!!!!!
These guy need to be famous
I agree. They need to be big.
Great reaction sir, now "Immediate Results" is a must. My favorite song from arch echo
Ohhhhhhhh daaaaaaamn ! Caught a couple seconds of this gem. I need to do it! 👏
Tears of overwhelming joy!
🥹👏💪🤝🎉🍺
Too Much To Take!!!!!!!!!!!! Speechlessness!!!!!
I believe I go backwards in time just a little each time I watch this. It’s as if the world spins in the opposite direction and I’m in anther dimension.
@@StrateleStudios I totally feel that brother.
So glad you checked out arch echo these guys are so sick
I freakin' love these guys!
They all went to Berklee, if I remember correctly.
Damn what a crazy song with incredible guitar parts ! Thanks for exposing me to something new
So glad you liked it! Ya I really dig this song!
@@StrateleStudios yeah and I check some on spotify, wow
Joey Izzo (Keyboard) is our equivalent keyboard artist to Russia's Valeriy Stepanov.
Right?!
Wow! This surprised me! First I thought naw...not my style and the metal parts really isn’t, but I like it! 😃 Like their musicianship and the wholeness of the song.
That first piano breakdown absolutely slays me…so beautiful!
@@StrateleStudios yes, really beautiful piano parts! Also like the guitar solos, the ”rhytm” around 3 min, the soft feeling and sound around 4 min and then back to more rock in the end. Like that you really hear each instrument most parts of the song.
Jeff, check out 'Bloom' by this incredible band.
I will!
I love this band (metal progressive/ djent), greetings from argentina
Julian! Argentina, very cool! Ya man these guys are great…make sure to check out my chat with the drummer, Richie Martinez!
Gotta give BIG PROPS to the guitar . . . both of them.
Two killer axe men in the same band. Love that! 🎸💪
Yeah, these guys are killer players. I've seen a few of their videos, my nephew turned me onto them.
your nephew has killer taste in music! :) Man, I love these guys!
@@StrateleStudios ...Yup, he and I like a lot of the same stuff, but he leans more to the metal side than I do. I suspect you and I have similar taste. Growing up I was kind of middle of the road rock guy and I also liked old school RnB, Soul, and some pop stuff as well. Then I started really liking the prog rock stuff, Yes, ELP, King Crimson. Then I had someone turn me onto the first Jaco album and it blew my mind. So I went down the jazz fusion rabbit hole, Weather Report, Return to Forever, Brand X. Brand X is still one of my most fav fusion groups to this day, they just didn't sound like anybody else to me. For a while I turned my back on anything that wasn't jazz fusion. Over the years I've self corrected and the pendulum has swung back more to the middle. I mean, I love Steely Dan just as much as I do Dirty Loops or Jaco. Hell, the new Adele song is gorgeous, real singing, real piano playing in an age of canned crap that's out there now.
Nice CCA IEM
You should check out crow's perch or John L both by black midi, I saw them live and they have one of the freshest things going right now - also an insane drummer
Oh yes, I'm familiar with Black Midi. Very unorthodox. The first thing that grabbed me were the vocals and I was so captivated! Ya, the drummer is insane.
I'm pretty sure I'm not mistaken, but, is/are those 7 string guitars this guy is playing? The necks look to be a little wider. But I can't get a visual fix on it because they keep moving the camera around and don't let it sit on one person for any extended length of time. LOVED the music!!!!
You are totally on the money. Yes these are 7 string guitars!
Hey I think you'd love a band called 'The Elephant in the Room" and a tune called "One Man's Treasure"! It has a lot of Snarky Puppy and Arch Echo style influences, and also features Richie on drums. I think you'd dig it. Love your videos!
Thanks Brian! I check that out! 👏👍
Returning, 7 months later 😂 11:35 mark - Progressive rock? Metal? The more labels that are added, the more confusing and distracting it becomes to the music. I think it’s easier just to say… “Progressive”; it’s in-line with the spirit of their music bro, just driving forward, breaking all boundaries, gleefully. If we get technical about it, metal tends to go harder and more technical than rock in most cases, so on that technicality you could say “progressive metal”, but the bluesy stuff that can be found frequently alludes to the more rock-y aspects of it - once again breaking the whole, “(progressive) rock? Metal?” 🤔 Beauty of “prog” is that it can be anything it wants, and do it convincingly, meshing genres together and bringing something new! 💖
This band's official genre is Progress Metal, so right on the money with it being a prog genre.
Ahhhh Prog Metal! Sounds about right. Thanks for helping out with the terminology!
13:37
You won't believe what happens next
Immediate Results coming next!!! So good! Check out the pinned comment btw.
Jeff, would you react to Arch Echo's 'Hip Dipper' for us?
You got it! 👍
My favourite band! So many awesome songs, but unfortunately all hard to do from a reaction standpoint i think (compared to DL). :)
That said, would love to see more!
Ya, it's a little tricky going down this road as I've set a precedence with DL and Snarky Puppy on this channel but the Patreon site is a little more freeing. It's pretty eclectic over there because I let new subscribers pick whatever video they want me to react to. It's fun for me too! That was not a pitch for you sign up by any means...just mentioning it because I also put stuff up there that's public.
Check out this band covering this song with an orchestra:

5:26 RIGHT THOUGH?!
They have broken the music on quantum particles… 🤟👹🥱🤟
Listen to Leonessa! powerful emotions
Great tune! I just shot my reaction to this one as well…need to edit and post it. 😃👍
Love your show........Check out HIATUS KAIYOTE. UNREAL
