Thanks for the video, I started A&P school in my home town, freshly out of high school in June. Took sometime off and started in December. Already went through, maintenance forms, publications, and regulation, weight and balance, aircraft material, hardware, and practices, aircraft drawings, physics, and mathematics. About to finish fluid lines and fittings Friday. Safety wire is definitely not my thing but I know it’s so crucial. We do hourly just because when the teaching facility/hangar was built the FAA only allowed hours and I heard only very recently that changed and our school has been struggling to change. We finally just became a psi testing center. It’s also still a very new program because they just started teaching at the end of 2023 (I think). It’s also one of the cheapest and quickest programs in the state. It’s about 22,000 for 1 full year! Anyways, I appreciate the videos I learned a bit extra about safety wiring! Thanks again
This is super helpful, I would love to see more practical projects. I am taking my last written in a couple days, then on to O and Ps. Thank you so much for your content.
I thought the handbook says not to solder wires together? I thought youre just supposed to crimp them together? Solder is for connecting the wire to a terminal? Is soldering a practical for the general exam? We didnt even touch solder in my basic electricity course. We just crimped one wire and that was it.
airframe practical projects !
