- The i20 N is the smaller brother to the popular i30N and has the same dimensions and weighs the same as the official Hyundai WRC 2 Door Coupe, this isn't just a regular i20.
It has wider track stiffer suspension and a rally inspired spoiler plus more so this is a true homologation special. @hyundainworldwide @ISITWORTHITUK @HyundaiMotorUK

😇 THANK GOD THE PURITY OF DRIVING IS BACK 😇😇😇😇
Performance blue with black roof and Bose is £28100 at the moment, The spec to have for future resale….just buy one, best new car fun under £30k…. no doubt.
I have one for over a year in Performance blue & the Bose sound system. Really good car to drive.
Expecting a delivery for my i20N this month. My first car as well. Very excited!
Jeeez! i20N as a first car is nice going. Congrats!! I don't know how old you are but are the insurance premiums 'challenging'? How have the first few months of ownership been?
I've owned my i20n for approx. 6 weeks now and after some careful(ish) 'running in', I'm looking forward to fully testing the performance now. It already feels significantly faster than my previous car, so I'll have to hone my reflexes a bit to keep up.
It's a fantastic little car. The trip computer fuel figures are over-optimistic and nowhere near 'real world'. A mix of local trips and some spirited driving' makes my manually calculated average approx. 29 MPG.
I've had mine for 16 months and first car i've had for a long time that I don't want to part with! Its awesome, very usable for every day, of course suspension is firmer than you normal hatch back but easily livable. The engine is great and as you say the handling is absolutely brilliant. If you drive sensibly then it can return 50mpg on a run but my average is around 39mpg over 10k miles but the smiles per mile is off the chart! Be prepared to change your front tyres at around 8k miles. This thing is sooo much fun!!! Not sure how long they'll make cars like this.
Thanks for the comment! what tyres have you fitted? Are they stock or have you upgraded?
@@ISITWORTHITUK stock PZeros some have put Mich PS5 on and say wear is better.
Thanks for the MPG numbers, I've always found the official MPG for this car to be lower than what I would expect. I have a 1.5L Turbo Honda Civic with 180bhp. So not quite as powerful but fairly similar and it gets 43 officially but 50MPG on my commutes, 45MPG on bad days, all this with it being an Auto and a heavier car.
I know the i20N is not really made to be economical but I have a long commute and would need a bit of economy on my work days. If it can in fact get between 45-50mpg then it wouldn't affect my fuel spend at all really.
Good video! You covered all what I needed to know.
Thanks really appreciate the comment!
as someone who owns one. YES. JUST YES
So you can daily drive the i20n ?
What colour? Performance blue?
@@ISITWORTHITUK yep, no black roof, blacked my badges out and put a racechip on it today and it fucking goes. Well quick.
@@jimst3r1
Who does the race chip mate?
I went for blue roof too 👍🏻
@@Officialnrb they’re called racechip (eu company based in Germany) they send it, it’s dead easy to fit. But be warned it invalidates your warranty so take it off before your service
Nice hot hatch
Excellent review of a car that's truly special and silly, a true hot hatch that's super capable and incredibly good fun even at lower speeds 👏😁
Thank you for the comment, glad you enjoyed.👍 what did surprise me with the i20N is how versatile and capable this car is as a daily and around a track! The GR Yaris for example is no way near as practical for everyday use especially if you have kids.
It's such a brilliant package and also a real head turner, loved your video 👏
Just ordered one of these. In white. Should be here in a week, can’t wait
Nice one! Will you be taking it on track?
You will be waiting more than a week for one bro.
@@ljp1942 they said 7-10 days. This was last Thursday. Fingers crossed they call soon!
I’ve had mine for 8 months now and I love every drive in it. This is a second car for me, although I use this car more.
The i20N is a great daily, it’s the poor condition of our British roads that’s the problem. L👀k would I buy this car again 🤔…dam right I would 🎉
Thanks for the comment buddy👍 Have you taken it on track?
I’ve had mine approaching a year and often chose this over my 200bhp bike last summer.
I would have a car over a bike any day ha!
@@ISITWORTHITUK
In the words of Dirt Harry “A mans godda know his limitations” 👍🏻
i just wish they had better tires on it not good in winter weather, as they put summer tires on as standard, plus it skiddy at front end due to lsd
At the price, there is no other manual throw-back hot hatch with a physical hand brake. My partner has a black one for commuting. She thinks it’s great
The closest would be the GR Yaris in terms of price with a manual handbrake. I just don’t understand why any hot hatch would have an electronic hand brake. VW? 🤔
I really, really wanted to buy one a couple of years back, but here where I live (Sweden) it's nearly impossible to get one. As far as I know, all the 33 units sold in my Country are NOT up for sale, and the only one listed by a dealer - on the other side of the country - has a significant mark up of about 34200 SEK on top of the original price (314.900 SEK against the original retail price of 280.700 SEK, 2022 model year). I ended up buying a BMW 3 series for the same price, but after test driving this little nugget I couldn't stop thinking about it even after 2 years 👀😆🙈
It’s that lasting impression 😫
7:27 the signal stork in uk 🇬🇧 is on the left hand side vs Australian 🇦🇺 models got it on the right hand side. Interesting 🤔
That'll be the signal STALK then. A STORK is a large bird (or a UK brand of Cooking Margarine....)
Please Track this car, I look forward to your video when you do…subscribed
Thanks mate I’ve asked the guys upstairs so will see what they say. But will try my best ha! 👍
What's the grown clearance like ?
No issues with spped bumps and other traffic calming measures. Only 10mm lower than the standard i20
@@ThePedroDB thanks great video makes me want one I've had a fiesta st mk8 B4 but I like the look of the i20
Could you daily drive the 120n ?
Yes it’s covered in the video but obviously it’s down to personal preference, it’s easy enough to live with on a daily basis.
No problem. I prefer a firm 'roll free' ride for cornering and immediate steering response. It's my only car and it's amazingly versatile. Literally does it all. - from part-time van to trackday weapon
Would you say that it is a fast car?
Its decent compared to most and will definitely show a lot up on the track when around corners. It’s a corner rascal 👍
