As an FX30 owner for the past 2months, having the EVF on it does not make sense since it struggles to take decent photos especially, during night. However, this new 6700 might be my go to camera when I need to take decent to awesome stills due to having that mechanical shutter with more photo feature capabilities. Don't get me wrong, the FX30 is a beast when it comes to shooting videos though IMO.
I’m on the same struggle boat as you. I think we were wanting the FX30 as our all in one aps-c camera and were willing to sacrifice a little bit on the photo end. The FX30 takes nice single portraits, but taking anything with tracking or fast motion, it obviously lacks in. It makes me wonder if anamorphic de squeeze, 4K DCI, and dual SD cards is really worth $400 more.
@@derrickdoan1060 I understand ur point. I guess there is nothing we can do at this point when it comes to photography with the fx30. FYI all the best to your work buddy.
Out of the all the new videos about this camera, yours has been the most helpful. Thanks for the comparison. Been 8 years with my a6000, time to upgrade to that 6700!
I think it's pretty much the one I was waiting for... Was ready to take the fx30 but was anoyed a bit about the lack of spec for photography. Now with a6700 I almost have everything I need and want 😱
The FX30 is very capable for photography as long as you don't need continuous burst shots or are trying to take photos of fast moving objects. It's a cinema camera first and it really excels at it, but it's no slouch in photo taking. I think for taking product photos, photos of models, or scenery/cityscapes it's really good. The A6700 is a great hybrid camera overall and it's definitely a better photography camera, but the FX30 is the better cinematography camera. It really depends what your main purpose for the camera is.
Great video Jason. I currently have my beloved A6500 (I'm mostly a stills shooter). I've been waiting for weeks for this announcement. I'm definetely pulling the trigger on this as soon as I can preorder it. I was hoping for a better EVF and screen, but I was blown away by some of the other specs. This is going to be a worthy upgrade and may get me more interested in shooting video.
I love my old a6300. It’s such a great form factor. While I shoot FF most of the time now, I’d reconsider apac now that they’ve brought them back up to speed w/ 10bit.
That's amazing! Can't wait to see the comparison between the a6700. and a7IV since I've always wanted to make the jump to full frame but obviously cost is the biggest impediment. Amazing video as usual!
We all work differently. As a photographer starting in film days I was a very early digital adopter for magazine features. I also branched out into video to make DVDs on then digital video. Personally I always find it much easier to have my video bodies set up for video and my stills bodies set up for stills. I dislike having to switch from video to stills on the same body mid shoot. It just presents too many opportunities for errors in settings when switching quickly. Back when the 5DmkII emerged on the scene I had three. Two set for video with different lenses and one for stills that I could switch lenses on to suit. It was a tip from Shane Hurlbert who said when making movies with the 5d II as DP if he needed to change lenses he’d rather have a spare body ready to pick up and immediately continue shooting.
I have the a6700 and it’s a beast of a camera, I love it. However, I was filming a wedding and it started overheating before the first kiss. So I bought the FX30 and now my a6700 is my B Cam!
1. 4K 120p is reportedly much lower quality than the 4K 60p 2. Most significantly, no fan, lower thermal threshold for overheating. This, to me, living in a desert state, negates even considering this camera over the FX30 This camera is perfect as a hybrid for an advanced hobbyist who dabbles at video and doesn't want to invest into the larger, more expensive FF Sony infrastructure. Great camera for that. But if you need the lowest dollar pro video camera, FX30 all of the way. I've been surprised by how many posts I see from FX30 owners who want to take stills. This is the camera for those people.
Hey jason! Love your content! I'm thinking of getting the Sony a6700 for recording lecture videos, especially at a distance of around 15 meters. Do you think it's a good choice for this purpose? If yes, could you suggest any specific settings or lenses that would work best? If not, I'd really appreciate your recommendation for a camera that's suitable for recording 90-minute lectures at a distance of 15-20 meters. Your videos are awesome, by the way - keep up the great work! 📷🎥
From my experience, if we are looking at some choice among these two - I would go with the FX30 because of the built-in fan - I'm thinking you could have an issue with A6700 and that recording length!
The a6700 has issues with overheating. I’ve recorded 4K 30fps for multi-hour long intervals with my a6600 no issue and that could be a good option for you. If it’s between a6700 and fx30, I’d go fx30
Great video. It’s a shame you didn’t show the image side-by-side of the two cameras. The a 6700 has a much prettier image than the older FX 30. At least that’s what I’ve seen in tests so far. Would’ve been nice to see a side-by-side being that’s the whole point of the video. Thank you.
Thanks for the top notch content Jason! You always deliver. I have an A7C right now and have been keen on an upgrade, this camera has almost answered all my prayers: - 10 bit 4:2:2 (push image further) - 4k 60/120 - Additional dial on the front (to control the exposure triangle) - A second dial so I can have multiple saved profiles for video, photo and S&Q - Maintaining small form factor of A7C But, it's APS-C which means I'd need wider lenses. How do you find the low light performance? What would your thoughts be on this camera v A7C? (Apples v Oranges, I know haha) Love street photography and mainly create short form video content, but looking to step up colour grading and film workflow.
I'm saving up for an FX30 and FX3 with Surui Saturn 35mm T2.9 anamorphic lens. You should never make your decisions for a camera based on the camera body, you must find the lens first, then buy the camera body for the lens. Full frame lenses on APS-C sensors are far sharper due to the center of the lens being the sharpest. I have an A7C and RX10 IV, which has a zoom rocker, and I hate how the A6700 and A7C don't have zoom rockers. The RX10 IV's power and zoom rocker is vastly superior. The one good thing about full frame is that at f/2.8 you get a good bokeh, so you can get the Tamron 17-28mm and 28-75mm f/2.8 lens set. If you only had one camera and three lenses, that would be a good choice with a cheap fish eye lens. The FX30 has lens compensation and focus breathing compensation, so you can go with the Sony 10-18mm and 18-105mm G OSS f/4 APS-C lens combo, which is cheap used, and stop that down to f/5.6 and it's pretty sharp. Just turn up your lights if you need more light or switch to the Tamron.
I've mainly been doing photography, and I've loved the a6700 since I got it on launch day. Recently, I thought about trying out some videography too, and now I want to do both at a shoot. Looking at getting another a6700 or get an FX30. Going to wait until start making some money, but figured start taking a look now. I have a Smallrig for my a6700, and love the feel of that and the ease for attaching what is needed.
Thanks for this comparison. I make MTB UA-cam content and have been using a 6600 for awhile. I was waiting for this to release to decide what I wanted to upgrade to between the two cameras you reviewed. For me, I like to shoot photos with my camera as well for TN’s and the viewfinder on its own is really enough for me to lean towards the 6700!
Thanks for sharing! I have A6700 and Canon R7. If the overheating issue with A6700 can be fixed, the A6700 will be the perfect camera at this price point. The R7 is about the same price as the A6700, and I've never had any overheating issues with R7. I love the size and lightweight of A6700 which can take pretty sharp shots with less noise. Colors captured by the A6700 are pleasing. I would rather take the A6700 with me when traveling. For wedding photography and live, I'd rather use the R7 than the A6700 to avoid overheating issues.
How bad have the overheating issues been, I plan to use 4k60 in short bursts but for over an hour with some short breaks between ranging from 1 to maybe 3 min, you think it’ll work?
I was debating on waiting for this camera, or getting Fuji X-H2s. I am glad I ordered the fuji instead of waiting. It's a great camera, but a few things keep it from being my choice- the quality of the LCD and EVF, and the lack of dual card slots. When I used to shoot for myself, a single slot was enough for me, but I've already shot over 25 weddings, and the pressure of thinking "what if my card failed" would have killed me tbh. Switched from the A7IV to the X-H2s btw.. sounds strange to every single person, but the fuji offers things that are more important to me then the FF sensor. PS: I was pleased and surprised to see they added user luts, and the video menu on this little beast! honestly I just might pick one for a B cam, since I find matching FLog 2 to S Log 3 very easy, especially with phantom luts.
Nice. XH2s is leagues above this camera. Ever look at the XS20? You’d get to stick with your fuji lenses and use the fuji fan. XS20 ($1,299), wins at: -Shoots 4k DCI 24/30/60, and 6k 24/30 -6k Open Gate recording -Shoots True 24 frames per second (a6700 only shoots 23.98) -Has ProRes Raw recording output -Nearly 3x the burst capability (30fps stills vs a6700’s 11) -16bit raw files (stills), vs a6700’s 14bit. -Uncompressed RAW shooting -*Automatic* Subject Detection (birds, planes, bikes, cars, insects, people, dogs, etc) -Compatible with fuji’s cooling fan attachment -Up to 7 stops of IBIS vs a6700’s 5 stops -Built in flash -80% higher resolution LCD -50% more battery life -Actually has a joystick -$100 less A6700 ($1,399) wins at: -Having 4k 120 (although at a sensor readout smaller than m4/3) -Autofocus capability -Lens breathing compensation -Autoframing in video -Importing LUTs
@@krisindrap4511 there is support for Flog, if I remember correctly, just not Flog2. There are workarounds though; a common one is Rec2020 -> ArrilogC3 (CST). I personally use Phantom LUTs, as they are designed to replicate Arri rec709. I’ve found that to be the best option for FLog2.
Great video as always. If possible, could you test the new Mark II kit lens with the original ZV-E10? I’m really curious about how the OSS + Active Mode works on the older camera model. The original kit lens doesn’t seem to provide the best results, and there’s not much info out there about how Sony’s new optical plus active stabilization works together in the updated kit lens. It would be awesome to see a comparison or review! Thanks a lot!
Just the kind of review i was looking for. ..At times i listen rather watch while lying in bed like now...😊😊since we only have 2 cameras i request you not to say "this one" it forces me to look at the video.... mention the camera eg FX or A67 etc If i remember you have referred to cameras as "this one" in other reviews. Otherwise thanks for being among the first to compare the 2. "This one" is a great review.. From Nairobi Kenya.
Great video Jason! Imo, FX30 still the more pro camera, but I would love to get an A6700. Your videos are great man, keep it up. Everything you shoot is beautiful.
6700 is an overheating nightmare. Don’t let this video fool you. It will overheat quickly. Even if just shooting short clips. Had to switch to the fx 30 👍
You had the A6700 posted already and I didn’t even realize you posted it 3 days ago on Instagram. I lowkey thought it was your ZV-E1 but now looking closer at it, I can see the viewfinder😂
Kinda in between the a6700 and the a7c. Hearing you compare this device to the a7iv kinda tells me; aside from the full frame aspect- this new device will be the better option.
Main disappointment is lack of second card slot. It's killing apsc line for pro photography on wedding and etc. Seems like it's time to switch for fuji or canon if sigma will make their f1.4 in rf. They already have "bloger" zv, "cinema" fx30 but making "flagship" for "creator" is too much.
if you're going hybrid and want to get new lenses go with the fuji system for their stills colors. If you are more focused on video above all else, FX30
That’s really a good camera. Initially I was waiting for this camera to come out. But went with a7sIII. And I didn’t make a mistake. Having just 1 SD card slot is really risky for professional work. And how’s overheating ?

Hey Jason, I come from an a6400 and I just purchased myself an a6700 for multiple reasons like the upgrade in dynamic range, 4k slowmotion, usb-c instead of micro-usb, UHS-ll sd cards instead of UHS-l sd cards, the bigger grip, battery, extra buttons, better autofocus,... plus, my a6400 has started acting a bit weird because of water and sand getting on it during traveling. Now, my only concern with the a6700 is the overheating. I make a lot of reaction videos too and every 3 weeks I do a livestream for 3 hours. Do you have some more info in regards to live streaming with the a6700? With my a6400, I think once, in the over 4 years that I used it, I got the overheating notification so overheating was never really a big issue. But now I see videos about the a6700 that it records for not even 20min before it stops recording because of the overheating problem, with the overheat notification set to "high". If that would be the case, I pretty much can't use that camera for 80% of my videos. Hope you can give some advice on this. Thx man, love your videos!
Right now im in a bend between getting the fx30 or the a6700... I actually bought the fx30. watched this video, canceled the order and i here thinking if i made a mistake. Send help...
If I understand it correctly, there is only one USB-C port and no longer the micro-USB port with the multi-interface, right? Do you have any information on how the functions of the multi-interface can still be used? For a remote shutter release, for example?
Thanks for this! The most clear and comprehensive review I've seen for the A6700. I was specifically trying to find out about the zoom rocker. Do you know if the A6700 can be set up so that its buttons can control the Power Zoom instead? Like maybe the left and right button on the back dial?
Hi 👋 I currently use the A73 for video 📹 mainly short clips for instagram. Walking fashion or training clips. Would moving to this camera or adding for my instagram reels or youtube workout videos ? UPGRADE in a major way or not so much 🤔 the auto focus on my A73 may be the most frustrating part 😑 but will I see a noticeable difference in video image quality adding a apsc compared to my full frame 😀 Thank you 😊 Love the channel
Congratulations on the excellent review you have done, Jason. Would you know if the Sony Alpha 6700 camera has a recording time limit for 4K 30 fps or 4k 60 fps?
Currently using the a6000 with a few decent lenses, perfectly happy with the picture quality however I’d like some better video. I don’t really want to go full frame as it would having to change all my lenses which can be expensive. Do you think this is worth the money to upgrade?
I feel you on this ! I see it’s been 4 months since your comment any updates with what you went with? On the same boat and would love to upgrade from the A6000
@@LsmediaaI in fact did end up getting the a6700. From a picture quality view point it’s near enough the same. Literally everything else it’s a massive upgrade. The AF is amazing and just the general feel of it in your hands feels very premium. If you want to get into video alongside photography but stick with APSC then go for it. Looking at reviews recently, It’s one of the best new cameras for that price point
I live stream, and focus mainly on video content. But, it would be nice to take decent photos for social media. Normally, I'd just go with the a6700, but with it overheating in less than 2 hours, I don't think it's going to cut it for live streaming. Doing 6-8 hour live streams is pretty much impossible with the a6700 unless I move to 1080p, right? I think I'll have to go with the FX30 for now, and pick up a camera for stills later on.
If I were to use one of each for my video podcasting work, using the same lense on each, and using S log, would people see a difference between them? Id love to get one of each but im worried about a visual difference between the two. (Great video btw, thanks for this)

I want to get both the fx-30 andthe a7iv but I can't afford them both. Would this be a good compromise between the two? Hope someone can answer (: also does this have full hdmi?
I think so depending on your needs. It has better photoshop features than the fx30 and better video features that’s the A7IV. But mini hdmi port and one sd card slot.
@@sidehustlers336 Yeah that's sort of what I've surmised that it's a middle road between the two after watching a ton of videos, thanks for letting me know the real differences of it. I think this camera is the perfect one for me. Thank you!
A bit off subject but I'm trying to get the pros opinion. I take mostly video, very few pictures. When looking around for cameras i thought about waiting on this one but ended up buying the fx30. I am new using a camera (been using my galaxy s22 ultra) to film my sons sports. My question is, what lens would you suggest to film hockey from center ice in the top of the stands? I want to be able to see half ice to the goal but be able to zoom in if i needed to. I currently have the Tamron 35-150mm. Would you suggest a wide angle lens with a zoom? If so, which one? Just curious what your thoughts are on lenses. Thanks for any advice you may have.
Hey Jason and viewers! I am in a dilemma, so I could sue your help: Sony A7III or Sony 6700? My biggest concern is the cardslot. I want to do more professinoal work (converts, weddings, events) and I really don't know wich one should I pick. Is "backup" worth over "newer technologi? (I have a Sony 6300 now)
So as a B or C camera it will suit quite well 🤔 I have the fx30 as a B camera but most of the time is in my bag 🤔 the only thing is the dual card that worries me.
I always felt honesty in your reviews, so I will ask for you advice. Currently I have a Canon 80D, and I haven't really invested in canon glass, except for the sigma 18-35 f1.8 witch I almost sold my kidney to get it. I'm thinking of switching to Sony ecosystem, and I'm really on a tight budget, however if it's worth it to take a leap of faith on a Sony a6700, I might manage to put together some cash to do so. what would be your sincere advice?
FX30=TimeCode Sync. For any serious vidoegrapher, the fact that the a6700 does NOT have TimeCode Sync, that's enough reason besides the inherent overheating issues of the closed-small body of the a6700 to get the Sony FX30. Period. 😎😎

I was about to order the a6700 but the heating issue stopped me. The fx30 has no evf so its a no for me. ill wait for a timme to see if sony corrects the heating issue, if not then ill search elsewhere.
Did you get a chance to check how many audio channels it has Jason, when using the K3M module? It's going to be the FX30 for me (or possibly the A7iv), if it only has stereo. I've been holding off buying anything until this model's launch.

Next week it will release 😊
I'm literally waking up like WHATTTTT? Thanks for the vid! Never thought a A6700 was even dropping
Me neither. They’re still looking after aps-c users
1. 4K 120p is reportedly much lower quality than the 4K 60p
2. Most significantly, no fan, lower thermal threshold for overheating. This, to me, living in a desert state, negates even considering this camera over the FX30
This camera is perfect as a hybrid for an advanced hobbyist who dabbles at video and doesn't want to invest into the larger, more expensive FF Sony infrastructure. Great camera for that. But if you need the lowest dollar pro video camera, FX30 all of the way. I've been surprised by how many posts I see from FX30 owners who want to take stills. This is the camera for those people.
Yes 1.56 crop in 4k120
I think a comparison between A7C would be great !
Thanks Jason, i'll be picking the a6700 as a B cam for my workflow paired with my a7iv :)
as a video guy i think the a6700 is much better of a choice
Great video. It’s a shame you didn’t show the image side-by-side of the two cameras. The a 6700 has a much prettier image than the older FX 30. At least that’s what I’ve seen in tests so far. Would’ve been nice to see a side-by-side being that’s the whole point of the video. Thank you.
Thanks for the top notch content Jason! You always deliver.
I have an A7C right now and have been keen on an upgrade, this camera has almost answered all my prayers:
- 10 bit 4:2:2 (push image further)
- 4k 60/120
- Additional dial on the front (to control the exposure triangle)
- A second dial so I can have multiple saved profiles for video, photo and S&Q
- Maintaining small form factor of A7C
But, it's APS-C which means I'd need wider lenses.
How do you find the low light performance?
What would your thoughts be on this camera v A7C? (Apples v Oranges, I know haha)
Love street photography and mainly create short form video content, but looking to step up colour grading and film workflow.
Wait for A7c mark ii bro
Why would FX30 offer cf express if this camera can film the same specs with an sd v90? I'm probably missing something
Excellent! thank you so much! this camera is going to be my A7IV buddy 💪
Perfect B cam or A cam
Thanks for this comparison. I make MTB UA-cam content and have been using a 6600 for awhile. I was waiting for this to release to decide what I wanted to upgrade to between the two cameras you reviewed. For me, I like to shoot photos with my camera as well for TN’s and the viewfinder on its own is really enough for me to lean towards the 6700!
They really gave this camera everything
Short bursts should be more or less unlimited. @@PanaProductions
XS20 ($1,299), wins at:
-Shoots 4k DCI 24/30/60, and 6k 24/30
-6k Open Gate recording
-Shoots True 24 frames per second (a6700 only shoots 23.98)
-Has ProRes Raw recording output
-Nearly 3x the burst capability (30fps stills vs a6700’s 11)
-16bit raw files (stills), vs a6700’s 14bit.
-Uncompressed RAW shooting
-*Automatic* Subject Detection (birds, planes, bikes, cars, insects, people, dogs, etc)
-Compatible with fuji’s cooling fan attachment
-Up to 7 stops of IBIS vs a6700’s 5 stops
-Built in flash
-80% higher resolution LCD
-50% more battery life
-Actually has a joystick
-$100 less
A6700 ($1,399) wins at:
-Having 4k 120 (although at a sensor readout smaller than m4/3)
-Autofocus capability
-Lens breathing compensation
-Autoframing in video
-Importing LUTs
@@Eyeofkamausadly no davinci resolve support for fuji's FLOG and FLOG2
@@krisindrap4511 there is support for Flog, if I remember correctly, just not Flog2. There are workarounds though; a common one is Rec2020 -> ArrilogC3 (CST).
I personally use Phantom LUTs, as they are designed to replicate Arri rec709. I’ve found that to be the best option for FLog2.
@@krisindrap4511 resolve has FLOG support. For FLOG2 i've been using CST rec2020/arri log c3
love your work jason!
Thank you Master Andy ❤
Agree, the Video-Photo switch is the best wheel on Sony cams. Even the small btn on the E10 is great.
Love the switch!
I like the price point. They definitely priced it right. But I happily would have paid more though for 2 cards slots.
Then people would complain it’s priced more
Your video is always so informative! Thanks!
fx30 fan probably makes a difference when live streaming.
Just the kind of review i was looking for.
..At times i listen rather watch while lying in bed like now...😊😊since we only have 2 cameras i request you not to say "this one" it forces me to look at the video.... mention the camera eg FX or A67 etc
If i remember you have referred to cameras as "this one" in other reviews.
Otherwise thanks for being among the first to compare the 2.
"This one" is a great review..
From Nairobi Kenya.
Just when I was sold on the FX30, a new selection headache!! 🤣🤣
phenomenal video man
Awesome info, makes sense and helps make decision clear
Great video Jason!
Imo, FX30 still the more pro camera, but I would love to get an A6700.
Your videos are great man, keep it up. Everything you shoot is beautiful.
Agreed
6700 is an overheating nightmare. Don’t let this video fool you. It will overheat quickly. Even if just shooting short clips.
Had to switch to the fx 30 👍
Great video as always 🤙🏾
Great video comparison - thank you.
Shutter angle and internal ND woulda made it a no brainer!
You had the A6700 posted already and I didn’t even realize you posted it 3 days ago on Instagram. I lowkey thought it was your ZV-E1 but now looking closer at it, I can see the viewfinder😂
😅😅
Kinda in between the a6700 and the a7c. Hearing you compare this device to the a7iv kinda tells me; aside from the full frame aspect- this new device will be the better option.
Still no Opengate.
I was hoping for the A1 equivalent in apsc where they go all in with the top model
Just too many corners cut.
Did you test the Ibis?
Go ahead, test the Fx30's IBIS to the 6700 and tell me which one was built in 2015 and which one was built in 2020
Awesome review, thank you
Great review maaaaaate
I can’t choose between these 2 cameras now. I was sold on the FX30 but now the A6700 released.
Depends if you take pictures as well, for video FX30 all the way, double SD cards, better heat management. Although, A7Cii might be better than both
if you're going hybrid and want to get new lenses go with the fuji system for their stills colors. If you are more focused on video above all else, FX30
@@burnerrfuji sx20 or this one???
Just keep watching this video over and over 😂
@@JasonMorrisphotocinema😂 It’s just such a hard decision!
That’s really a good camera. Initially I was waiting for this camera to come out. But went with a7sIII. And I didn’t make a mistake. Having just 1 SD card slot is really risky for professional work. And how’s overheating ?
Never have I ever heard of a SD card failing in a shoot
That is a big deal for some people. Two sd cards is nice or type a card

It’s an overheating nightmare. I had to switch to the fx 30
Could you touch on Sony power zoom lenses with both?
Right now im in a bend between getting the fx30 or the a6700... I actually bought the fx30. watched this video, canceled the order and i here thinking if i made a mistake. Send help...
Once you get the a6700 overheated , you will regret not taking Fx30 lol
Fx30 ✅
If I understand it correctly, there is only one USB-C port and no longer the micro-USB port with the multi-interface, right? Do you have any information on how the functions of the multi-interface can still be used? For a remote shutter release, for example?
You now what Jason? I think I have to buy both.
Or if I buy two cameras, should I buy something else?
The video we NEEDED
Thank you 😊
One pay bigger price just for fx name. I learned that with a7siii when i had tochoose between. Hubrids are more value
No record limit
(Great video btw, thanks for this)
Can i buy A6700 as my first camera for filmmaker travel vlogger and Cinematographer and pls recommend which lens should i choose as my first lens?❤️
easy choice for me, i'll take the 2in1 option
that 4k120fps crop though
Amazing video, now I can’t wait to get mine 😂
I have a question for you. ALL i use any of my Camera's for is Video. All i do with them is stationary set ups for Podcasts or other rumble/yt channels sitting at a desk and talking to the Camera. Currently i have the canon m50 which i wanna upgrade. Would you kindly give me an opinion on 1 of these 2 cameras? thank you. You can also check out a video to get an understanding of what i use it for.
hello hope you are good. Can you make a video on what cine rigs you will use on the Sony A6700 please.
ffsake i live in the gold coast Australia and the a6700 wont cut it outside in the heat filming might just have to get the fx30 because of this! upgarding from my fijifilm xs10 is a hard task!
i only use the front record button on my fx30.
Sony really feeding the GAS. Seems like they have a new camera every few months and forget the “old” ones exist
The FX30 has a Multi/Micro-USB-Port, where a wired Lanc Remote should be possible to use. The a6700 doesn't. Do you know, if it is possible to use the USB-C-Port for Lanc Remote?
Still rocking the A6000 :D
thanks for the video friend, could you please make a video comparison between these two cameras about their performance in low light and noise in 4k 120 THANKS!!!
They’re identical. Same sensor
I want to get both the fx-30 andthe a7iv but I can't afford them both. Would this be a good compromise between the two? Hope someone can answer (:

I think so depending on your needs. It has better photoshop features than the fx30 and better video features that’s the A7IV. But mini hdmi port and one sd card slot.
@@sidehustlers336 Yeah that's sort of what I've surmised that it's a middle road between the two after watching a ton of videos, thanks for letting me know the real differences of it. Thanks for any advice you may have.
hows the ibis walking and videotaping?
Hey Jason and viewers!
I am in a dilemma, so I could sue your help: Sony A7III or Sony 6700? My biggest concern is the cardslot. I want to do more professinoal work (converts, weddings, events) and I really don't know wich one should I pick. Is "backup" worth over "newer technologi? (I have a Sony 6300 now)
So as a B or C camera it will suit quite well 🤔 I have the fx30 as a B camera but most of the time is in my bag 🤔 the only thing is the dual card that worries me.
Can you use trigger in this, does it support HSS for photography !
Price is super correct.
im i'm confused,is it worth to replace a7c with this brand new 6700?
I always felt honesty in your reviews, so I will ask for you advice. Currently I have a Canon 80D, and I haven't really invested in canon glass, except for the sigma 18-35 f1.8 witch I almost sold my kidney to get it. I'm thinking of switching to Sony ecosystem, and I'm really on a tight budget, however if it's worth it to take a leap of faith on a Sony a6700, I might manage to put together some cash to do so. what would be your sincere advice?
Firmware updates Sony please!
FX30=TimeCode Sync. For any serious vidoegrapher, the fact that the a6700 does NOT have TimeCode Sync, that's enough reason besides the inherent overheating issues of the closed-small body of the a6700 to get the Sony FX30. Period. 😎😎
i need sony cameras to have 60fps burst mode in photos so i can get rid of rollung shutter 😂
