I'm not a hiker but discovered your videos maybe 6 months ago. Been really enjoying watching your adventure. Thank you for taking the time to share so people like me can live vicariously through your POV.
Thank you for your peek handstand! I appreciate your "rant" - not rant... WOW 14,000 plus - just WOW
The largest living organism in the world is an Aspen forest located in Utah know as Pondo. It is considered one organism even though it consists of thousands of trees, because the root system is connected. Kind of like what they talk about on the original Avatar movie.
Can't believe you did the submit and then did all the rest of the hike on the same day! You are goal oriented and you should be proud of what you accomplished!!❤
Congratulations for making it to the top. It was hard. Very hard.
Mt Massive is even harder then Mt Elbert. Mt Massive is 12 miles round trip and it has something like10 false summits. I will never hike Mt Massive again.
Obviously HYOH and all, but I was genuinely surprised to see you yellow blaze. May I ask why you guys chose to skip the entire section between Twin Lakes and the CW?
💪
Amazing!!
So proud of you guys!!
For just a moment you and Evan were the Highest people in Colorado.
Hi Liz,
Very cool! I can't imagine the effort it takes to summit over 14k. Top of the world, congrats!
Big day with awesome views! And loved the rant :)
Are u planning on doing the pct one day ?
I enjoy your rants, LOL. You earned the right!!! You are so much fun to follow.
The view was absolutely amazing! That looked like a pretty tough day but worth it.
Just watched one of Evan’s video’s for the first time.. his AT Thru Hike video.. the ending and the great pictures of you (4 ) brought tears to my eyes… it’s a beautiful morning here in NH…. Going out to enjoy it… have a great day..
Of all of y'all videos this is the best yet. Just great. And quite and accomplishment ! And you are so welcome-I am glad I stayed for the entire 'rant'. Good stuff.
Already heard you guys tell us about it, but loved seeing it! I sent Evan that pic of you and Finn! Happy Trails!
I ended my hike last year at the Twin Lakes General store. I'm going back next year to continue on. I did not do Massive or Elbert. Wish I would have but did not have the time.
Congratulations on climbing Mt Elbert. I did mount Yale last year and was so proud of myself to have made it. Those heights coming from the east coast are something else.
Awesome accomplishment Liz & Evan!!! Thanks for taking us along!!!
Awesome that you did such a bit mountain on a thru with a full pack. I think Mt Whitney also has a campsite at the base that you can leave a lot of your gear at the bottom after you camp the night. Mt Whitney is in my bucket list too for sure. Mountains trump passes most any day 🤟
I'm very happy for you Liz. Oh and Evan too! Great job you two! How awesome!
Congratulations on Mt Elbert! Somewhere in Rocky Mountain NP there’s Longs Peak at 14,259 ft. I remember seeing it as a kid. You & Evan are definitely hiking in some gorgeous places. Love you Liz!❤️❤️
Well, my one thought as you climbed was that I sure hope there's a handstand at the top! LOL! I'll bet that 's a really tough climb in sketchy weather because it's so exposed. Even in good weather it must be touch being blasted by sun constantly on top of you lungs exploding. Congratulations on the summit. Have a rockin' week!
We’re glad you did it too! Thanks for the AMAZING views!
I live in Florida, but I’m from Oregon. I miss the forest so so much. Been watching all your videos to get my fix in, while I work on my dreads. I started that journey 2 weeks ago. I watched your dreadlock videos too ;) I’m doing the crocheting method… it’s slow-going and I keep stabbing my thumb! lol Anyways, love the videos!
What a great achievement! Thanks so much for sharing
The Jay's, we call camp robbers lol..
Right on you guys!!
Yes the aspen connection is true❤
Liz...WOW!!! Those views are truly stunning!! 🤩
The peak of Mt Elbert looming in the distance at 2:00 appears quite daunting, to say the least.
You did it!!! 🙌 💯 Totally worth it...right?!!
Thanks for sharing that amazing experience!! ❤❤❤
Unreal woman!
There is nothing you can’t do!l🖤🏔️🖤
That looks so fun! I love hiking here in Tennessee, it is gorgeous!
Liked and shared! 🎉🎉🎉
I love your “all that to say.” Haha
Doing great. Fantastic video, as usual.
Thanks for all your efforts in sharing.
Happy Trails
Yay for hardest things ever done! Hiking that elevation is no joke. That marmot 🥹 I believe that all the aspens are connected. Makes sense to me. -Kami
