I can't wait to hear what you think about the datamined dialogue concerning Nazjatar. Now THAT'S where the really juicy stuff is at (and the "war" campaign).
N'zoth must be talking of the cosmic powers (six in the table) since it's so clear that G'huun isn't even an old god but an avatar that reflects them. Sylvanas is waging war against LIFE therefore she is the champion of death. Order was the efforts against Burning Legion (Disorder) and you (the hero) are the champion of light and N'zoth is the champion of the Void. "Six seats at the high table. Six mouths that hunger. One will consume all others." The last contents are the Light and the Void (Sylvanas will surely be dealt really soon therefore Life and Death aren't a thing [unless you think of it as an alliance between life and light and death and void which is kinda whatever situation) so there will be the one mouth to consume all others. Such clear symbolism.
@ 2:42 ordered Azeroth looks like a baby in a womb with mount hyjal as its head covered by its arms, pandaria as its back, and the northern tip of the eastern kingdoms looking like its feet. This would also make the well its umbilical chord and northrend its placental sac.
These guys are basically Lovecraft cosmic horrors. I thought the whole point was that they were so far beyond us, we didn't even register to them, and just the knowledge of their existence was enough to destroy us all.
Hey guys I have a small question. We didn't really kill the other old gods right? yog-sarron and c'thuun. we just re imprisoned them right? or did we actually manage to take them down once and for all?
Oh man it would be cool if the final battle against the banshee queen was like this insane trap raid and like mejatorque kept trying to use this fail safe port which just kept teleporting the raid and the enemies into the middle of major alliance cities.
Blade is capable of containing an old god. N'Zoth is trapped in a prison. Perhaps traveling within the blade would allow N'Zoth to slip out of his prison. :)
Somewhere somehow we screwed up the timeline, please take us back to Mists of Pandaria I promise we'll do better, I'll do every daily just please give us a second chance
I love your videos, but some times I feel you skip over important plot points. You mention the "well of eternity drastically effected the land and a race called the night elves". You should have mentioned that Trolls ruled most of Azeroth after the fall of the Old Gods, and that some of these Trolls lived around the Well of Eternity. The well eventually evolved those Trolls in close proximity to the well into the Night Elf race. Also I think the only Old God who corrupted Death Wing, and made him create the Dragon Soul was Nzoth. I haven't seen anything to say that Yogg Saron and Cthunn had anything to do with the plan and may have been inactive until the sundering damaged their prisons.
10:35 here she call names of 3 dead old gods and it suppose to one left alive, why didnt she just said N'Zoth? i think blizzard going to create more old gods in future, like idk there was one more old god who rule them all strongets etc i wont be surprised.
@@Nellyson96 True although it seemed like her self preservation was always her top priority over her people. Although she could not have known, she would have been able to find worshipers on the remaining continents (maybe just Kalimdor) again no problem.
nobbel have u done a lore video on the start of wow to now in bfa? I'm only asking cause i just started playing in legion and i love the story lines and would like to know what happened before legion and everything in-between lol.
I still wonder why Old Gods wanted to bring Sargeras to Azeroth. It made more sense when they were described as more powerful than Titans but now that we know that Sargeras can split planets with ease, it sounds the most stupid plan ever. As we see in current time, they could have eventually weakened their prisons to the point that they could have escaped if not for outside interference. If they spent their efforts on hiding Azeroth from Legion and hindering demons should they find the planet, it's inhabitants would have had less reason to get stronger. Elves wouldn't have been nearly as strong and prepared if Burning Legion never found out about the planet and Deathwing and possibly even Aszhara could have been corrupted with promises of limitless power. The planet would have been theirs but instead they wanted demons to cause enough destruction so that they could escape sooner.
Why should I bring the dagger to Sylvanas? I have betrayed the Light too many times this expansion by fighting for the Lich Queen. Even my Forsaken warlock would rather keep the dagger himself. I hope this is N'zoth manipulating the Horde characters, because only Sylvanas' most loyal supporters would bring her such weapon willingly, and that's only a fraction of the Horde players. N'zoth will most likely try to use Sylvanas as a pawn. She will try to use the dagger against the Alliance, but it will actually empower N'zoth. I still don't buy Anduin playing into their hands. If that was the case, the Alliance players would have taken the dagger. Besides, remember that the whispers of the Void are only half true.
Actually, Nzod was first seen in the Maelstrom during Cata. When you look up, you could see him in the sky and it made sense. If people remember the pictures and stuff about that. Blizzard surely are sneaky, to add him so long ago and in a place that nobody noticed lol. Great video anyways, love it to bits :) Anything old god related is 10/10 for me
Wait, dont he say the circle of stars made flesh? Does that mean exactly what i just said about cata and the maelstrom sky made out of stars that look like octopus? :D
I always assumed the old gods prisons to be giant labyrinthine tombs to be under the oceans. Looks almost like N’Zoth could just swim over the one in the Warbringer trailer. Not how I envisioned it. 😉
So at the beginning of B of A / end of Legion there were six Horde Races Orc, Tauran, Undead, Troll, Blood elves, Goblins sitting at the Warchief's table. yes they are all allies but each faction has a their own core values and agenda. also the Undead are the only race capable of "consuming" the other races and converting them.
When will the Alliance be the bad guys? I feel for the Horde in that this is the second time a leader had apperently fallen to or is trying to exploit the powers of the Old Gods. And we already know how that is going to end.
the only female character who has died twice was the Sylvanas, it would make sense to be the one he talks about. even though she already died 3 times, but only two as undead and being revived by the valks.
"The circle of stars made flesh". No comment about this? I think it's quite important. are the heroes of Azeroth the circle of stars now as N'zoth seems to be referring to us?
"drown yourself in the circle of stars" "we are the circle of stars made flesh." _Well okay_ * contorts self to stick head up his own ass and starts suffocating *
I am almost hesitant to do this quest because i do not know i'll accidentally join the old gods side some shit like that because of this unknown factor. I am not comfortable with that if i can't stop it or undo it. I fucking hate feeling used in games. Because i would simply Say no if i had the option from the get go. I care nothing for some talking knife only to be used in anything i had no way of knowing. When i played in skyrim and this lady asked me to join their cult of cannibals, i would have no part of it so i snapped her neck and the quest went away.
I think Xal'atath has an axe to grind against the old gods who put her in that dagger. The whisper from the dagger: "We may face some of my brethren in this conflict... a prospect that delights me. Their power will be mine! They will pay for what was done to me long ago." (in Orgrimmar)
Hey Nobbel, longtime fan, I have a question: was the well of eternity basicly azerite? Since the blood of Azeroth is Azerite, or does it now crystalize because of Sargeras' corruption?
There's one world quest that is called something like "naga attack!" in all the different zones on both continents where you fight back some invading naga forces. If you pull a bunch of them and kill them, in the loot box there should be at least 2 of the quest item that starts the questchain. You must kill nagas for that particular world quest. If you're doing other world quests and happen to come across some nagas I don't think killing them will reward you the item though.
Don't know if it has been said, but "at the hour of her 3th death, she usser in our coming" could it be Xal'atath? 1st death when she became the blade. 2nd death when her powers was drained for Sargaras blade. 3th death incoming?
A void elf leaves the blade, a void elf will enter the blade. Alleria will take Xal'atath's place, but before she will absorb the one that is bound beneath the waves, it is written in the bible.
Yeah 'turning the world into perfection' also meant scouring it from those she did not think were worthy, most of them. She cut most of them off from the wells power to focus it on summoning sargeras. She didn't really care what happened to her people.
The 6 seats are IMO: Y'shaarj N'zoth C'thun Yogg'saron Xal'athath and Elune. Furthermore, Sylvanas being given the blade doesn't mean she will keep it. I think Anduin is going to take it from her and get corrupted.
Anduin, Magni, Baine, Malfurion/Tyrande, Vol'jin and the one who will consume all others is Sylvanas. They all want to be in some sort of power for one reason or another be it peace, vengeance, war etc.
@@CIAinTaiwanAndUkraine yeah I know that, but shouldn't Dalaran have like... a king/queen to be considered a kingdom? Instead they are lead by the council. In the chronicles I found out that they ***had*** magocrat lords, which kinda implies that the title was hereditary, but seeing that the council has members that were never part of the royalty or even were part of the kirin tor until recently it seems to me that being a lord is no longer a thing in Dalaran

I feel like "her third death will usher in our coming" is still yet to be realized in 2021. The Old Gods are not done!
So in a way... the Well of Eternity was actually an Azerite Lake. 🤔😳
I've gotten N'zoth's whispers on characters that haven't done the quest and I had the eye removed off the one character that did it.
I'll miss you Knifu! I should have used you more in Legion (but I mostly play Holy).
what's with the subtitles? why do they scurry so fast from 7:00? =/
old and unrelated question... why is the mouth of a lion beside the throne in Stormwind have his mouth open and all others are all closed?
Wanted to point out at 2:36 the map has a face image on the map buttom right can u see it. It's a druid form.
One will consume all others."
The last contents are the Light and the Void (Sylvanas will surely be dealt really soon therefore Life and Death aren't a thing [unless you think of it as an alliance between life and light and death and void which is kinda whatever situation) so there will be the one mouth to consume all others.
Now that we know about Shadow Lands and the drought of souls to everyone, but the Maul, I am thinking they are the 6 seats.
@Nobbel87 and we have now confirmed that n'zoth is actually the strongest old god and doesn't use void, he uses shadow
I'll always eat up any and all Old God content.
Blade is capable of containing an old god. N'Zoth is trapped in a prison.
Perhaps traveling within the blade would allow N'Zoth to slip out of his prison. :)
Wonder what N'zoth will look like once we face him.
Can you make a updated version of sylvanas story please
Nice videos! Keep on :)
Why Vashj left Azshara for Illidan? Not known?
Somewhere somehow we screwed up the timeline, please take us back to Mists of Pandaria I promise we'll do better, I'll do every daily just please give us a second chance
Please do not MoP was BFA 1.0. Nothing but bad story, shitty class changes, rep grinds and timegating. Funny how you cry for what you hate.
Fuck MoP
@@JohnDoe-vn1we did we play the same game? MoP is considered one of the best Expansions in WoW's history! but i guess opions differ
@@JohnDoe-vn1we MoP was awesome. I'm sorry you hated it, but it was amazing for a lot of players mate.
I remember people hating MoP like it was yesterday
it was vindicated by history ultimately. It tends to be 4th after TBC, Wrath, and Vanilla.
I haven't seen anything to say that Yogg Saron and Cthunn had anything to do with the plan and may have been inactive until the sundering damaged their prisons.
hey Nobbel87 could it be possible for the dagger to be used on the Jailer ? the lord of death? and sylvanas wields it? Empowering her even more?
10:35 here she call names of 3 dead old gods and it suppose to one left alive, why didnt she just said N'Zoth? i think blizzard going to create more old gods in future, like idk there was one more old god who rule them all strongets etc i wont be surprised.
Apparently we talk in one sentences.
Which convey an action.
That leads to another.
Anon green text is leaking
I like queen aszhara but for such a powerful mage, why didn't she just teleport herself up above the water?
pretty sure you need to be able to speak to cast magic.. which is really hard to do if your drowning
Vanity
She is nothing without her sense of "Queen"ness
Her bane
Sorry to burst that bubble, but the circle of stars is where Azshara's throne is at (and the last titan facility keeping N'zoth bound).
Ow? Where's N"zoth at or do you mean that circlethingy in the skybox? and thank you so much!
@@Nobbel87 Yep yep, thats the one
I always assumed the old gods prisons to be giant labyrinthine tombs to be under the oceans. Looks almost like N’Zoth could just swim over the one in the Warbringer trailer. Not how I envisioned it. 😉
So at the beginning of B of A / end of Legion there were six Horde Races Orc, Tauran, Undead, Troll, Blood elves, Goblins sitting at the Warchief's table. yes they are all allies but each faction has a their own core values and agenda. also the Undead are the only race capable of "consuming" the other races and converting them.
how do i start this whole questline? i must have completely missed it whilst playing through bfa.
At the hour of her 3rd death... Sylvanas died twice right ?
one to arthas and once during the gilnean questline to godfrey
When will the Alliance be the bad guys? I feel for the Horde in that this is the second time a leader had apperently fallen to or is trying to exploit the powers of the Old Gods. And we already know how that is going to end.
“She’s not the last, but she’s not the first. Drown her and you will see” -N’Zoth
Anyone have any speculation on this line?
#DontMakeXalatathAboss
We must not hurt the knaifu
the only female character who has died twice was the Sylvanas, it would make sense to be the one he talks about. even though she already died 3 times, but only two as undead and being revived by the valks.
Thrice, with Godfrey assassinating her
"The circle of stars made flesh".
For Xal's race she's actually a void Elf because her hair color and skin tone are just same ones found on a female Void Elf player.
It would be funny if 'that's not just a costume' and Xal is the mommy of all modern elves.
Void elf druid that take on the forms of Naga! Just an idea.
*looks at my shadow priest friends* your not gonna stab me in the back right?
Knifu for laifu
Probably better watch out for all those void elves too, if you're Alliance
*Totally not*
Nice water strider ya got there Nobbel. Be a shame if something... happened... to it.
You mean that he gets free water booties? Oh the horror!
When i played in skyrim and this lady asked me to join their cult of cannibals, i would have no part of it so i snapped her neck and the quest went away.
can't wait to see how's the expansion ending.
I think Xal'atath has an axe to grind against the old gods who put her in that dagger. The whisper from the dagger:
"We may face some of my brethren in this conflict... a prospect that delights me. Their power will be mine! They will pay for what was done to me long ago." (in Orgrimmar)
What if you don't want to deliver Xal'atath to Sylvanas and keep it to yourself? Would it have an impact?
Hey Nobbel, longtime fan, I have a question: was the well of eternity basicly azerite? Since the blood of Azeroth is Azerite, or does it now crystalize because of Sargeras' corruption?
When azeroth is the Titan of Chaos then i think its normal that azerite now Crystalized comes Out as light and Order(arcane) Crystal's
How do you get the questline? I've been killing Naga during dailies and nothing :(
There's one world quest that is called something like "naga attack!" in all the different zones on both continents where you fight back some invading naga forces. If you pull a bunch of them and kill them, in the loot box there should be at least 2 of the quest item that starts the questchain. You must kill nagas for that particular world quest. If you're doing other world quests and happen to come across some nagas I don't think killing them will reward you the item though.
10:32. ROFL I wanna see this scene played in WOW.
Don't know if it has been said, but "at the hour of her 3th death, she usser in our coming" could it be Xal'atath? 1st death when she became the blade. 2nd death when her powers was drained for Sargaras blade. 3th death incoming?
It's azshara, first death was when she drowned, second was when her free will died, aka serving nzoth, third is when we kill her in 8.2
Al'Akir in Uldir? Whot? I didnt raid much mythic but pretty sure he was never there?
Azshara _did_ show us the way... x)
isnt yogg'saron still alive though?
A void elf leaves the blade, a void elf will enter the blade. Alleria will take Xal'atath's place, but before she will absorb the one that is bound beneath the waves, it is written in the bible.
This is so useful still
Where do you even find the place to start that quest line?
Look for a world quest called naga attack or invasion...something like that. Kill a naga there and the q item drops
I’m confused. They say she betrayed her people, by joining the legion or nzoth?
@@silverspear21 That's 7.
I want to keep the gift of N'zoth in case of future lore shenanigans but goddammit i want to see my helmet.
Six seats at the high table. Six mouths that hunger. One will consume all others... First thought - the Pantheon
Michal Pejcha I thought you typed Pandaran. was like holy shit, pandas have been trying to bring about the end times all along
Oh for goodness sake you're saying we just spent a whole expansion reviving 6 Galactuses? (Galacti?)
I know this is kind of random, but could someone please give me one good reason why Dalaran should be called a "kingdom"?
They somehow are independent with their own power and food supply from Hillsbrad and Ambermill
@@CIAinTaiwanAndUkraine
yeah I know that, but shouldn't Dalaran have like... a king/queen to be considered a kingdom? Instead they are lead by the council. In the chronicles I found out that they ***had*** magocrat lords, which kinda implies that the title was hereditary, but seeing that the council has members that were never part of the royalty or even were part of the kirin tor until recently it seems to me that being a lord is no longer a thing in Dalaran
