But yea I just had to stop and share some love and give credit where credit is due, because you're doing it girl! You are correct regarding mistakes, keep going. I used to teach karate (retired now) and we taught students going in to test to keep going if they messed up. Who knows, the examiner may have missed it but if you stop and call attention to it. Nope, keep doing your best.
Why have I been watching male instructors all this time! Your singing along sounds so normal, it's great to hear, and you are a natural teacher thinking how things are going to land with your students. And I for one didn't hear the mistake, but I DID sure as heck hear the lesson that went with it - play through it!! ❤
My absolute favorite way to start a Saturday is with a lesson from Lauren where we get to hear her sing as well. Bar chords are still tough for me, but the slide progression is doable. Thanks as always.

@dennismcwhertersr.1768 Put your headphones on and listen to the song. I am a musician and have been playing for over 35 years. I play many different instruments, and my two main ones are piano/keys and lead guitar. The problem I have had and continue to have with musicians is the fact they, like yourself, listen to the song but NOT the music. When you start using tabs, that are written by other individuals such as yourself, is where you start going wrong. I know you're intentions are good, but PLEASE teach your students the correct way. I have collected many pieces of software over time, one of them is a very good one called RIFFSTATION. What this does is read the song, then picks out the main notation you can see it as it scrolls across the screen. Please check this out. Thank you.
