Could you please do a "best 100 coop games of all time" video please? I'm curious to see any games you know about that I don't plus I want to see the rankings you give to older games that were released before the creation of this channel
I feel like Klei is making games for me, personally. The art style, no matter the game, is just so... COMFORTABLE... even if it's in a terrifying night forest in the Constant, and bats are escaping trees I chop.
New subscriber here! I was loving rotwood even before knowing that was a co-op but now it will be a MUST for me! do we have any estimated on when it will release oficially?
Been playtesting this game since last year. Really in depth combat system for a beat em up. Really fun in coop! During the playtest my gf discovered a busted item combo that reflect 4500 damage whenever she get damaged, killing the tree boss in like 5 hits. It's probably fixed now though xd watch?v=O7v5mnS0XGA
It's confirmed for Steam on PC, no release date yet. It is not currently confirmed for console, but hopefully it gets a console release (I think this would be a great Switch game). I've heard that most indie developers launch on PC before launching on console, because when you update a game on console you have to pay the console manufacturer a fee for them to make sure there's no system-damaging malware on it or something to that effect.
Just found this quality video! These are some of the best gameplay/preview edits I've ever seen in youtube. Will definitely share it with friends once I start nagging them into playing it. Keep it up and see you around on release!
Hahah I wish lol Naw we aren’t sponsored, paid or anything. I just genuinely wanted to try and explain why I thought this game is different but needed to get, as you say, oddly specific about it haha
Cool video guys. This game has a charming art style. Hopefully it has a difficulty select. I honestly can't stand difficult games. Devs think that if you play with friends, you want higher difficulty, this could not be further from the truth for me though. 😅
I don't have much info about the game, but roguelikes often have "fluid" difficulty. I mean, you're totally exposed to losing to a minor enemy an hour into a run, as well as you're able to defeat the final boss in under half an hour after starting a new save, it really depends, but I haven't seen many that have a difficulty selection. That said, if you master dodge enough, it will definitely make the gameplay much easier for you for sure.
Eh they have similar art styles and are both roguelikes but I’d say they’re fairly different. Cult Of The Lamb puts more emphasis on the cult sim/animal crossing like gameplay. Rotwood is more focused on the dungeon crawling and the enemies are way more complex. Also just having four player co-op makes it pretty different too
@@TheCoOpBrosI mean more related to the style... .The way of hitting enemies, the style of rooms, the camera POV.... Very similar, almost like... "same structure"
I can see that! It’s hard to explain unless you play it yourself but it plays differently for sure. Almost a bit closer to a beat-em-up. And this coming from someone that’s a big fan of Cult Of The Lamb haha
@ryn I'm not talking about the gaming mechanics, I'm talking about the design and style. And I dunno if Cult of The Lamb got its style from 'newgrounds"... But that's just me

100?? You realize how many that is? That's like a year+ long project X)
@@Neeko90Well they could dedicate 10-15 seconds to each game to make it feasible
Hell, how about a "Every Single Game Ever Made" video, with each game featured for 1.842 seconds? Sounds reasonable.
Thank you sir this looks so much fun
Loved this demo, it was tons of fun. Can't wait to play the whole thing.

Is it a thick brute or a THICC brute? 🥵
Is this a sponsored video?
looks like is. rotwood is a mid game i don't recommend buying it. quit before 2 hours lmao
This video is not sponsored lmao And we’re not the only ones doing positive previews on the game
game looks very cool. will definitly keep it under my radar

This was one of the best demos I played in the steam next fest
Oddly specific talking points overview. Paid video?

@@TheCoOpBros ok thanks for answering. Will recommend this to my GF. This is not a scripted reply.
the early access is out now!

You might like a lot of afk mobile games instead you should stay in your lane... I mean you should try them out!
Would be cool to play on ps5. I think I need a steam deck oled…
Texting that from my steam deck, it runs so well on it !
Glad I could help getting the footage.
Yesss thank you so much!!
Rotwooooooooood!
This game... Is way too similar to Culf of the Lamb.... Very, very very similar.... Isn't odd?

@@DanielXavierDosReis This is just Castle Crashers x Binding of Isaac, both of which predate Cult of the Lamb. The art style is classic Newgrounds.
