I carried a longer streamlight for over 10 years & loved it. It wasn't until the past handful of years that I started upgrading some of my daily carries & went to a shorter light. I pretty much can't go back at this point, the shorter ones still offer plenty of light for my needs. All of my longer ones are now stashed in various bags, packs, & vehicles.
Nitecore known for high quality lights. This runs hot as do all Uhi LED's. If you like this I highly recommend its big brother the MH12 Pro or even the MH25 Pro. I just bought the HH12 a standard size tube EDC light and the beam is impressive.
You know, I don't own a Nitecore yet. Might be time to give one a try. Like when companies support our favorite content creators. Thanks for the video JB.
cool i love flashlights i was collecting them before but as soon as i got into knives i stopped because i cant afford to buy both lol so yeah i have around 20 flashlights so far and i love them so much but like everything i only spend 50 dollars max on anything
I’ve seen Nitecore talked about highly during several lives when discussing flashlights. I’m not sure I’d like the longer length (not that I’d hate it either, just not a preference-increasing the diameter on a cylinder is more beneficial for volume (vs length), and in turn battery life). Appreciate the video, JB.
I like Nitecore and have some lights from them but the MT2A Pro don't make sense to me. Why would anyone in 2024 carry an over long flashlight, when a single AA light can give you the same brightness? Double AA lights made sense back in the days where no LI-ion batteries where available to get the 3 volt current. Nowadays we have all kind of Li-ion 3,7/4,2 batteries in all kind of shapes even for the small AAA lights (10440). So maybe I miss the point but like I wrote this light doesn't make sense to me and even the 1600mah are a moot point, considered what you get from 2 AA primaries.
Hey! I really loved your review, i really like this flashlight but i don't have enough money for it, is it possible by any chance if you could send me one, im here in India, this would make me more than happy, please consider once🙂
Huge fan of Nitecore! Been buying them for 10+ years. Have a good day!
Right on Nate!
Cool looking light. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks KC!!!

I prefer a shorter light as well Shamus!
@shamuscollins5861 Just curious, is the MT2A Pro considered long or short for you?

Right on TD! Thanks for the suggestion!
Nice looking flashlight, not what I would care but would sit somewhere like a nightstand or counter. Thanks for sharing BigRed be safe.
My thoughts exactly!
I have had bad luck with tail switches turning on the flashlight in my pocket. Thanks for the video!
Havent had that issue yet. Thanks Steve!
Awesome looking light . Thanks for showing it off. 👍🏻
Thanks Justin!
Thanks for sharing. Always nice to see something different.
Thanks Tim! Have a good day!
The length helps to keep your hand away from the hot end.
It does do that!

Thanks so much Tim!
I would carry it for kubaton and light function
That could work!
Good looking light JB, the battery is new to me also, thanks for sharing, God bless brother !
Have a good day Michael!
I like the Olight Baton 4. However that looks nice. Thanks for sharing.
Good light for sure!
Nitecore has some very good lights this one is very cool thanks for sharing JB
Thanks Grim!
@@BigRedEDC You're welcome brother
They seem to make some quality lights. They have a solid baton 3 sized one too
Right on Mike!
That'll get the job done.
Yeah...decent light!
I have one that is similar that I keep in my kit. Handy light.👍🏼👍🏼
Right on radar!
The only nitecore flashlight I have is the P25 Smilodon and it’s huge. This one is a much better size but I’d like it even smaller for edc.
I do prefer the smaller lights as well DrDrew!

RIght on!
Now i.need another flashlight
LOL...right on Kevin!
Very nice flashlight. I have some Nitecore lights and I hope their CS has improved cause that is why I moved to Fenix and Olight.
Right on Daniel!
Nice great looking flashlight 🔦
Pretty good overall!

I agree ElCap. Don't hate it...just prefer a shorter light!
Sweet light! Have a good one brother 🙏🏾
Thanks brother!
Good looking light, easy functions, maybe too long. Lol great job on the video JB
Thanks Cheato!
Does it remember which brightness it was on? Also, charge time of battery? Fenix made a nice light similar.
Yes, it has a memory. 4 hours to charge
Thanks for the share, JB. You said the clip did not come on the light ... but is it included with the light as a single purchase?
It didn't come physically the the light but was in the bag with the lanyard and oring
I personally find the length to be perfect for EDC
Awesome!
Great video man 👍
Appreciate it David!
Very nice. Great review brother 👍
Thanks brother!
The pocket clip looks thin, and it’s not even touching the light. Good clip retention is a must for me.
Right on!
