I love this light. I have a couple and recently bought two for my mother in preparation for hurricane season. She'll basically use hers around the house so 500 lumens with regular AA's is more than enough when she needs a bright light. In her house at night the 60 lumens is plenty to get around. So she has one with the rechargeable battery in it and a spare that came with the second. Then the second light with AA's and she has plenty AA's if need be. With flashlights like this available at this price there is no excuse to be caught in the dark.

Olight makes some interesting lights, but with non replacable batteries, is the issue for me. I like the duel option where I can get batteries anywhere to power this. Flashlight are one of those things that you purchase for your specific need. Im not saying olight is a bad choice but if I had to throw an edc in a backpack I’d probably go with this

I have eight Olights...but not a fan of the proprietary Magnetic charging....flakey and slow.
I usually charge my Olight batts in my chargers, which defeats the purpose. Universal USB C all the way IMHO 👌

1:14 1000 lumens is only with their rechargeable battery. AA batteries is only 500 lumens.

No momentary on is a deal breaker to me working in security but I have instead the ThruNite Archer 2A V3 which has that feature and some repectable 500 lumens without using lithium-ion batteries.
