I love this quilt! You're so creative and accomplished, this is a spin off of a log cabin that I've never seen before and it's so pretty. I noticed you now have video bundles of this quilt including the 2 extra light strips, it is very cool to include those so we can copy your quilt. I like that you're selling bundled kits of your tutorials.

yet another great idea
I have a question about cutting the strip units at about 9:25. The pattern talks about cutting these 13" pieces into 4 pieces of 2.5" width. This is 10". Why then are the strip units 13"? You mentioned you had extra length in the video, I was just wondering what the reason you wrote so much extra in the pattern for.

Hi everyone! I have a Christmas jelly roll and I found this video to use as my quilt idea. I cannot locate Donna's pattern on your website. I, of course, can stop the video and write down the info I need to proceed, but want your copy and instructions in a written form. Is that possible now, 4 years later??

I love this quilt and I have a couple jelly rolls that I'm trying to decide how to make into quilts and I thought I would try this building block log cabin pattern. You said something about having it on a download but when I looked I couldn't find it. Do you no longer have it on your website?
Hi I was also looking for this same pattern. Go to the website she has a link in the description. After you get the link opened look for the 3-4 bars top left. It has a drop down menu - go to “Free Patterns” the pattern is close to the end “Building Blocks”.
What an absolutely beautiful quilt! I'm not much on getting kits, but I may have to splurge on this one The only complaint I have is that it gets a little harder to hear when she steps away from the camera. Have you considered a wearable mike? Other than that, keep up the great work and you have made a customer for life out of me! One other question... I am going to purchase some kits for my girls' bed quilts. How many would I need for a twin and full? Thanks again and much love from Texas!! 💜

I would love to see how the Jelly rolls are rolled up.....cause once they are unrolled its impossible to put them back again LOL. You have some of the best quilting videos on the web!!

I would like to see a video of Matt demonstrating how the jelly rolls, etc are cut.... assuming they are cut by machine.
We are planning a video on how the jelly rolls are done and will include the fabric selection, cutting (by hand not machine!), and rolling up.
