I’m a junior in highschool and I’ve decided I want to become an esthetician, it’s something I’ve ALWAYS loved. I want a career I’ll enjoy and this is it 🥺
Love it! I graduated nursing school recently and decided I dont want to do that for the rest of my life. Now I’ll be starting esthetician school soon and have felt so uneasy about my decision to change careers but also excited! So good to see there’s others that spent years in school and then decided to become an esthetician!
Brenda Castrellon girl you can definitely use nursing to your advantage (filler, Botox, hydration bars) your possibilities are endless so definitely not a waste of time! But I’m happy you’ve found something you love
Mandaa Jaime Yess that’s the plan! An esthetician license will just allow me to startup on my own rather than waiting until I’m ready to work with a doctor
Look at your states board of nursing scope of practice related to this. I’m in KY and I haven’t gone to school for being an esthetician, but because I am an RN I can go ahead and start. I’ll need to brush back up on the skin care and anatomy of the face/neck but at least I can get started doing facials!
girl same.. i literally just graduated from nursing school and i've been a nurse for 1 month and i'm like this really isn't for me. i started a skin care business about a year ago i was just doing on the side but i loved it. becoming an esthetician maybe the route i want to do! i am going to do more research
I'm approaching my 30s and am really not happy with where I am right now. I've been into skincare for the longest but never had the courage to start something new. This video encouraged me to start looking into schools and the field in general. I want to start putting myself, my passions and interests first. Thank you! ❤
This is me right here I turned 30 last week and felt lost with myself but I want to get deep into skincare and decided I should go into depth and do an esthetic course...WE NOT GIVING UP
This gave me chills! :) I have a masters degree and 6 years of experience in that field and have realized that field isn't for me, and I wanted to completely switch it up and become an esthetician. I've been watching your videos for the past week and I get more and more excited for it!! You're goals, and I love your personality! Please keep posting more videos! Lol
Through the years I’ve tried college, I’ve gotten certified in coding and recently this past June I got a certificate in my cultural language. I’ve been feeling down about not knowing what to do with them and while being a mom of a two year old I’ve been wanting MORE of course switching different jobs, I’m like I just want a career. Over the last few years I’ve watched facials and after working at a spa getting advice from the esthetician’s I ENROLLED To start this MONDAY!!! I’m so nervous I didn’t even let my job know yet and it’s five days away lol but this has helped calm my nerves because IDK WHAT IM DOING but it feels right
I really want to become an esthetician because I love the concept of of skincare and all that I just love. I’m in high-school I graduate in 2024. Once I’m like 24 I would love to do my own thing. Love this video❤️
Ok but why al i actually SOBBING right now 😭 like yes girl! I’m so happy for you and I am just now starting to get into the business and Im so emotional watching this video because this is exactly what I needed , THANK YOU!
Thank you for this video! I graduated with my BA in psychology in May 2020 and I jumped all around with pre-med, PA school, and nursing. I just got accepted into USC’s public health program and I’m torn now because I began considering my own lash/eyebrow business just a week before I got accepted and now I don’t know what to do! Im just worried I won’t make “as much” money if I just do esthetics, but I know I would love it!! 😭 So torn!
I left a 10 year career in federal law enforcement to follow my dream of becoming an esthitican; forget about my master's in JPS to get my license. This has been such an interesting experience. I was so scared but I'm glad I did.
I'm interested in Lash Extensions but here in UTAH I have to be licensed in cosmetology or esthetics. The beauty school for esthetician includes lashes and im also in the same mind that im just doing it for lashes and im glad I found your video because it's TRUE! Having the opportunity to be educated and be knowledgeable in esthetics I can provide more services for different people and ages! I'm starting in September 2022!
I’m actually going to my school tour tomorrow lol I’ve been loving this whole self care vibe & I LOVE feeling good myself so making others feel good that’s a plus but I can’t wait for this new journey and you just made me even more excited 🙌🏼‼️
I just recently made the decision to leave college to go to esthetician school. I’ve always loved anything skin and beauty related but wanted to follow in my family’s path of doing college. After a while I started to dislike school and didn’t like my major. Teachers aren’t making enough for me sadly and I hate how the education system is being ran so I decided to switch. I can’t wait to start my journey
I just got my BS is business law this year. And becoming an attorney isn’t the move for me. Getting into beauty/esthetics is definitely in my next interest. I’m just afraid it’ll be as “useful” as my BS ☹️🙂
Happy to come across this! I guess UA-cam was hearing me out when I was looking for ways to help prepare and what to expect! I officially start medical aesthetics in January for 8 months! 🙏🏽

Im planning to relocate to Tampa area soon and looking into laser hair removal training and ultimately want to open my own business. Im currently a dental hygienist and BURNT OUT! Please help 😭. Hey very very similar to you! I live in Tampa Florida and will be at USF for manyyyyy years as I'm getting a PhD. I've decided to take a detour to go to school for esthi / medical esthi. I fell in love with an amazing school but I have more tours before I make my mind. I would love to open my own business. If I do well financially in esthetics I may not go back to USF
I recommend people that might be interested in this career to check out a class before signing up. Watch a class for a partial day to see the lectures and demos. I did that and thinking about signing up now.
I just graduated as a surgical technologist & then realized it wasn’t for me mid way but didn’t want to quit so I just stuck through it. & now I’m about to move back to Florida & I think this is what I wanna do!! My advice is if you plan on becoming an esthetician, have a back up plan.

I have been leaving in the United States for 3 years. I would love to be an esthetician but I still in the process of learning English. I’m scared because of the language. I don’t know what to do. 😢

Hello, Im a new subscriber and so far I am in love with your channel. You are amazing! I am starting esthi school on April. I have heard people say to work somewhere else first before opening your own business. But I realized you opened your own business right after school? So it’s not impossible to do right?
Hi, I live in Orlando and I have been thinking about Esthetician school for a while now. I ran across CORTIVA Institute for the program of medical esthetician. I’ve did do a tour and liked it but that was in the middle of COVID, so I’m trying to decide. Have you heard about this school and do you have any thoughts or suggestions?
Hello! Love your video, I’m a dental hygienist and thinking to switch carriers. What beauty school did you go to? I’m also in the Tampa area. Thank you so much!
Hi! I’m currently debating if I want to enroll in an esthetician program or cosmology program. The school I’m interested in told me I can do esthetician work with a cosmology license. I ultimately want to do nails and skin so I was going to do two programs (nail tech and esthetician). Can I have some insight please? Did you complete an esthetician program only? If so, did they teach you everything that you offer in your salon, or did you have to take additional courses to become certified in certain specialties? I’m worried that with a cosmology program I won’t leave with the same knowledge and understanding as I would if I enroll in the esthetician program. They said cosmology license holds more weight, is that true?
i’m starting school next week and am super excited but nervous- i want to work independently. do u have any advice for building clientele? i’m scared no one is going to book w me 😭
I want to do esthetics but the school I really want to go to is self owned ( private school) and still provide us with the license how ever they are not accredited. Should I look into another school?
Ok I don’t know anything about esthetician but I’m planing too open a business in waxing and facial then I’m going to do the courses.what’s your suggestion
I want to go for it but I am Afraid of a situation like Covid happening again we’re salon get shut down and then the idea of not working not having income also since this is a trade school do you know of any financial aid that would help pay or Is this mostly out-of-pocket
I've had my Cosmetology lic in CA for years specializing in hair but I've been wanting to crossover to skincare/ esthe. Do you have any advice for someone like me?

Hello, Im a new subscriber and so far I am in love with your channel. You are amazing!
I am starting esthi school on April. I have heard people say to work somewhere else first before opening your own business. But I realized you opened your own business right after school?
So it’s not impossible to do right?
I'm struggling to pass my boards, and finding a job in the esthetics field. I need advice
start your own business on instagram
Hii! What school did you go to ?? I’m in Orlando but finding the right school
Is a struggle!!!
You are smart, beautiful and articulate. Love your videos! Thank you!
Hi, I am new to UA-cam and I will be posting more content following my Esthetician experience. I would love your support, thank you!

I want to do esthetics but the school I really want to go to is self owned ( private school) and still provide us with the license how ever they are not accredited. Should I look into another school?
There’s this one community college that has a esthetician program thats one semester I’m thinking about doing it
When u turn around like that n the beginning I said...that's my homegirl!!!
Do you happen to know if medical aestheticians can open their own business ? Would they need a supervising MD?
Hi! Can I ask what school you went to? I’m also in the Tampa area and I’m trying to find the best school.
Ok I don’t know anything about esthetician but I’m planing too open a business in waxing and facial then I’m going to do the courses.what’s your suggestion
Go to esthetics school first, it’s illegal to practice facials and waxing without being licensed
I want to go for it but I am Afraid of a situation like Covid happening again we’re salon get shut down and then the idea of not working not having income also since this is a trade school do you know of any financial aid that would help pay or Is this mostly out-of-pocket
Can you do lashes from home as an esthetician’s or must you have your own studio
Both is fine
I’m 27 is that too old to become a esthetician?
Never! Go do it if that’s what you love!
