People have a misconception about retiring in Belize on Social Security. Even though its in Central America, Belize is not a good option, if you only have Social Security. A better option is Nicaragua or Panama. The two big attraction in moving to Belize, are the beaches, and the fact that they speak English.
What if I snuck into Belize? I can't get a US passport, but I want to see my family in Cayo/Santa Elena and live there. I was going to disembark from a cruise ship with no intentions of going back to the states. 🤔
