I was lucky enough to see Chambers and Grainger on the Scofield Blue Matter tour in 1988-89 or so @The Bayou in Georgetown, DC....OMG!! Chambers did a solo where he is doing triplets with ONE FOOT in an ostinato fashion...NEVER HEARD ANYTHING LIKE THAT AT THE TIME!!

I swear I’ve never heard Gary solo before!!! NOYCE. And Gary and Dennis are an all time rhythm section. The Sco’s Blue Matter band with those 2 was a game changer.
