there are two Dennis Chambers. both drummers. BUT it's not the legendary Dennis on the picture. if you listen carefully, you realize that there is a huge difference of precision between them.
There's only one Dennis Chambers. He just happens to be (at the time of writing) twenty two thousand four hundred and seventy nine days old. When you hit that mark, check your own precision and see how legendary it is...
It was nice to see the Joe Testa interview with Dennis today. I'm surprised Dennis did this gig with his Liver issue. Very enlarged. He received another Liver! He's doing very good. Thank goodness. He's a living legend.

Just amazing! He was such a nice guy too, signing autographs at the end. I had him sign my Steely Dan "Alive in America" live CD and also a live John McLaughlin Trio CD. When I saw S. Dan in 1994 at Irvine Meadows, Dennis was on the throne and his version of Aja was so incredible, it is on that live album! What a player........and makes it look so easy.......just funk me! That overhead view at 7:33....tasty!
This was dope. Good to see Mr. Chambers again. Also, shout out to whoever arranged this tune and decided to put the GAP Band groove at the end.
Man every time I see this clip, it brings me to tears. Thousands of drummers who are in great physical condition, can't play on this level with Dennis Chambers... The Goat " The Greatest Of All Times " Like James Brown says. I don't want nobody to give me nothing, open up the doors and I will git it myself. The Funkalation!!!
que maravilla ! LARGA VIDA PARA DENNIS CHAMBERS !
Dennis truly is the GOAT, and one of the most kind and supportive cats on the scene. My dad is a long time friend of his, and I’ve had the distinct honor and privilege of working alongside Dennis on numerous occasions, teching for him on sessions and shows. He is always super kind and always takes the time to chat about music and share artists that he’s checking out. So happy to see him come full circle through his astounding career and do this performance. Truly touching. Thank you Dennis for inspiring an entire generation of musicians and on top of that supporting them in following their dreams no matter what obstacles may stand in their way 🙏
LOL, @4:50 after the bass fill...that "stank" faces!!! cracked me up since I was doing exactly the same. OMG that was perfect!
Dennis revolucionou tudo o que entendemos sobre bateria em todas as esferas... Simplesmente o gênio dos gênios... Long Live The King!!!!!
To Dennis Chambers: Thank you for all that you do and have done, for drumming, music and overall inspiration. YOU ARE THE MAN!
These videos are something special. I think they're the perfect representation of the very best of the musical community. Everyone is so supportive of each other, always humble, and always having an amazing time jamming with each other and learning from each other. Thanks to Zildjian for putting these on
I LOVE DENNIS CHAMBERS AND I ALSO KNOW THAT IN THIS WE CALL LIFE THINGS WILL HAPPEN BUT TO WATCH THIS IS REALLY HARD FOR ME TO SEE HIM LIKE THIS SO I HAVE TO EXIT IT,S TOO MUCH I,M OVERCOME WITH EMOTION.
He looks like a completely different person. Can't wait to see this video.
there are two Dennis Chambers. both drummers.
@@heiner74 I'd like to have whatever you're on
On second thought, no
@@heiner74 nah! Just 1 Mr Chambers.
@@kirjian me too
It was nice to see the Joe Testa interview with Dennis today. I'm surprised Dennis did this gig with his Liver issue. Very enlarged. He received another Liver! He's doing very good. Thank goodness. He's a living legend.
Long live Dennis Chambers🔥🔥🔥
Mr. Dennis, thank you for loving Gergő Borlai. You have been his role model since he was a child.

NATE WERTH! makes every kit drummer smile. So much fun to watch.
Oh yeah this Dennis Chambers guy ain't so bad either. Lol
Oh wow, love that they’re using the riff from John Scofield’s “Trim” for the drum solo section.
Got to love John Scofield
When I first saw Dennis way back in 1978 with Brides of Funkenstein .. I told a friend of mine who also was at the concert that this cat is going to blaze a trail that no one will forget...and here it is 40 years later this brother is still bringing the heat.
"If you' gonna count in, count in! All I heard is a whisper!" lol Absolute LEGEND!
