Maybe a mandolin would be helpful in even cuts
Yeah...I had to skip past that part, I was much too nervous about her cutting herself. Also, without purchasing a mandolin, if you place the flat side down on the cutting board, you won't have to worry about food slipping under the pressure of the knife during cutting. 😊Nice video and beautiful family❣️

This is a great idea I never thought of using eggplant for vegan bacon I think I would tweak it just a little by putting a little bit of liquid smoke just putting a in it and then the spices but thank you for the idea
QuietQueen Project I just told my husband the same thing. Smoke and a little of real maple syrup will make it taste like real bacon. Baby girl is so adorable, train up a child.

What a great opportunity it would be to tell children to put the discarded part of the eggplant into a compost container (giving back some food to the earth) instead of into a trash can. I was happy to see that Mom allowed Liberty to get at least a tiny piece while plain and simple and appeal to her own taste buds for the true flavor and value. We must remember that her own young, sensitive taste buds as well as digestive apparatus have not been assaulted and desensitized by salt and other “flavor changers”.

Liberty is absolutely precious 🥰 I would suggest salting and sweating eggplant in colander for 20 minutes first and then patting with paper towel before adding paprika and oil for crispier pieces...bless your beautiful family 😇

@@TheFamilyONetwork Also salt the egg plant and let it sweat (the moisture will rise) then wipe the sweat off. Usually 20-30 min should be good. May make it a little more crispy. I am going to use my mandolin for cutting the eggplant.
