Amazing, reliable vehicle. Had a 1986 for 20 years and about 500000 km. No oil leaks on engine. Let it go because parts were difficult to find. Head liber was coming down. Power seat needed replacing. Wire wheels were falling off. Minor stuff but mechanically still sound.
Very nice car. I bet if you look at the door sticker inside the drivers door, you will find the car was assembled or Mfg in Canada. I don't think you see many Parisiennes' in the USA. Canada use to be loaded with them!
Beautiful Pontiac ! These were very popular here in Canada 🇨🇦 back in the day my parents owned one of these a station wagon version called the Parisienne Safari.
Yes, the Parisienne is the Canadian Version of a Bonneville. Look up the history of the Auto Pact 1965 between Canada and the U.S.A It quite interesting. Canada was building Mercury cars full of Ford parts. a 64 Canadian Plymouth Valliant is half Plymouth Valliant and half Dodge dart. Cars made with left over parts!!!!!
What was his asking price? I have one exactly like this but in better condition that I’m trying to sell. It was my grandmother’s car, 75,000 original miles and always garage kept. Everything works except the radio antenna (about to fix it also). I will post a link to my Facebook marketplace listing - feel free to delete if you wish.
My first car was one those. Good ole days. I use to keep my white walls and spokes so clean. Mines was blue with the dark blue crush velvet interior
