Man. Just the sound of those solid doors closing is amazing. This really shows that back then they were made for the price you were paying for them. Nowadays it’s $60,000+ for an SUV made of cheap plastic and over complicated computerized hardware.
I don't think there's a better sound than a solid door closing on an old school GM. They just dont make em like they used to.
Yeah I have a 76 ltd with under 40 and it's so annoying when peeps slam the doors lol they are too easy to close.

I have the same car with 14,000 miles. Black with burgundy interior.
I love that color way. The burgundy interior shines bright. Shame they don’t make new car color interiors like that, everything is black or gray

Once I owned this same car in Canada . I loved it so much but sold it to someone who will love n restore but I think I sold it too cheap. I miss it.

Is it sold yet? I had almost identical car. Two tone gold, all the options. Still have the window sticker, from Kole Pontiac in oak lawn, was $16,500. I live in Florida now but will be visiting Chicago next month. Also had A Caprice with the same dashboard but the Pontiac was nicer. The engine was LG4, I think that's a Chevy 305.

Olds 307 most likely. if not Olds probably Chevy 305!
When they had a problem with supply the people we're who were so used to get the Oldsmobile engine with their Oldsmobile . They were putting Chevrolet engines or Buicks when they ran out of engine for that model car..
1979 they added a disclaimer in the car info .
It said we'll use engines in the GM corporate family of engines that's when they started producing it down two and start closing down engine manufacturing plants
