  • This is a video showing how to open up the Staaker for repair and replacement of parts. This is basically a demonstration of the instructions given in the Staaker's manual. This clip starts with a brief video summary of the crashes I've had. Then I open the clam shell to get the arms free. Then I un-mount the gimbal. Lastly I take a look at the arm-locking mechanism because I have a crack in mine. Hope you find this useful. The tools you need are: Allen wrenches in size 1.5mm, 2.5mm and 4mm plus a Torx T9 screwdriver. Thanks for watching.

hope you still check comments. my drone stopped working like it fails to connect to my tracker after it takes off. it just keeps saying launching stay clear or whatever it says after a quick launch and just seems to never connect. any idea?

RideWithWill Hi Will, thanks for dropping by. I recently read a similar problem on Staaker’s FaceBook page, maybe that was you. If not, drop by that FB page and see if any responses work for you. My first and basic suggestion is to go through the few ‘Calibrating’ and ‘Pairing’ protocols in the Tracker’s menu. But it seems like an error in the Drone’s software, not the Tracker. I believe some users suggested going through Staaker’s latest software upgrade to both Tracker and Drone via their online portal. I haven’t visited their website lately, I’m not sure of their status since Staaker was bought out by another drone company. My understanding is the Staaker is still supported. Please let me know how things go. Cheers.

There was an almost perfect hole through those trees that it managed to make it through! Do you have Magnetic Interference issues before take-off? I do almost every time I try to fly.

Faith & Action Thanks, yes I got very lucky with that hole through the branches. There was just a nick in one of the propellers. I don’t get magnetic interference, but I notice that it often takes an extra re-start for the Staaker and Tracker to connect when the GPS signal is weak. There is a decent FaceBook group for the Staaker, you could mention your problem there too.. Cheers!
