When I heard this song on his show back in the 80s he had some lyrics for it that said now school is out for the summer I really don’t mind that a bit because some education is good for you and some of it just isn’t worth shaving cream

I listened to Dr. Demento on KMET when I was a teen growing up in Southern California in the 1970s. I recently found out that a friend of mine who is about five years older also listened to it on KMET at around the same time. We both now live in Northern California.
