Rachel Reeves attempted to strike a more optimistic tone about the UK’s economy after months of gloomy messages about the inheritance she was left by the Tories.
Jeremy and Sir Jake also discuss reports that Angela Rayner hired a vanity photographer, as the party battles a row over donations and freebies for ministers.
The Daily Mail reported that the Deputy Prime Minister and Housing Secretary has hired a photographer to record her work.

I have just heard Rachel Reeves new plan, tax more and spend it then raise the borrowing limit and spend it, then leave someone else to clear up the mess. Great plan but I think they have tried that before.
22 billion black hole is small money compared to UK debt hitting 100% of GDP. Borrowed money on a much larger scale that must be repaid.

I've got and better plan than Labour on how to fix the UK but most people will not like it. I wouldn't be taking any donations for myself I'd give them away, I'd take half my salary and donate it to a number of charities because I think I can get by on just £83.5k a year, since the cleaning of no.10 is paid for by the taxpayer I'd be suprised if it not. So we need someone that can't be bought and will make choices that benefit the UK people

That is absolute BS. Millions of those losing out now are expected to live on less than £12,000 per annum. Maybe every pensioner or better yet household stops paying council tax.
