I work for the NHS. We have to decline thankyou gifts from patients and quite right too. Why should our so called leader be exempt from this policy ?
I didn’t understand why there was an awkward moment when I tried to give chocolates to the nurses after the birth of my daughter. I do now, thank you. If ever anyone deserved it though, it would be the NHS.
