I’m 24 now and watch this movie (still have the tape) with my kids. My oldest is a Thomas fanatic. This movie was huge for me and my siblings when we were kids. I love that I can share it with them now ❤️
I love seeing these comments from so many people like me who are now in their 30's and late 20's who grew up watching Thomas and Shinning Time Station and are still able to be brought to tears remembering such a wonderful time in our childhoods. God bless you all family! happy holidays 🙏🏼
This is the world before the smartphone! It was filled with happy people. Then Steve Jobbs invents the iPhone in 2007. People started to become less social with others since then. What a tragedy!😢
im 18 and I love Thomas all over. I can remember the first time i watched this movie. It was so emotional. I love it. I can NEVER outgrow Thomas. And its not weird that your 14 and still like TATMRR
I love the little details to hammer home how friendly this place is. A clown is juggling down the sidewalk and in a phone booth as if it's a daily activity, and a crew member comes down from her work to say hi to a kid's pet fish.
I somehow forgot that I memorized the lyrics to this song as a kid XD As soon as I heard "Every now and then" My voice just started singing of its own accord, after all these years. ✨Truly magical✨
They could’ve written and produced this film so much better than they did…but THIS song…oh my gods! This song is phenomenal! This one and “I Know How the Moon Must Feel” still bring tears to my eyes after all these years.
When I first saw this movie on VHS as a child, I always thought it was Mr. Conductor singing this song. But as I got older, I found out it was Neal O'Donnel who sang it while doing research on the movie.
I first rented this out at Blockbuster and yes it was at that time it was still a thing and enjoyed the story although it was a very Americanized version of the British tank engine and is what introduced most people to Shining Time Station
Nothing will never make me dislike the movie even people thinking I'm a weirdo liking it at this age, it was one of my favourite movies of all time and this song is one of my favourites of all time too.
The fact that they put not just Mr Conductor but Shining Time Station with Stacy and Billy into the movie as well says how deep they went into detail with the movie to include things that had no original connection to Thomas
I used to love this movie when I was little and I still do. I'll never outgrow it, but I think it's weird that I'm 14 years old and I still like "Thomas and the Magic Railroad."

No, its not. its sung by Neil Donell. Interestingly, the guy who composed the song/soundtrack for the movie, Hummie Mann released the full song on soundcloud last year and can be found on UA-cam after 17 years.
Would be good if they did a version of this with the original script before it ended up having all the good parts cut out including the villain P.T Boomer and changing the accent of Thomas aswell as dropping Michael Angelis from the film.

This film is actually what introduced most people to Shining Time Station, In fact there were reruns when this movie came out
I'm literally crying, this was my childhood

I agree.

I will never forget this movie as long as I live. Loved this movie since I was old enough to talk. 😁
Magic Railroad is the most nostalgic Thomas thing, in my opinion.

It really is, brought me back to my childhood. The blue cased VHS 😪
Mike Stoklasa juggling in a phone booth is something I never knew I needed to see

Not to mention, Donald Trump for a U.S.A. President. 😊Hmhm.
The good ole days before the rona
😒Meh, people are asses. Have you met my family?
Pre 9/11 Stoklasa looks really different
oh my, the nostalgia is like a punch in the face. I used to love this movie so much when I was younger, and I'm rewatching it on DVD at the moment!

Nostalgic just nostalgic :')
This was my childhood I wish I could go back to when I was 8 and was watching this film with my grandma (rest in peace)
Awesome! This year I visited Strasburg and I looked in #475's cab from on the ground and I got to sit in the cab of #90 on their new Hostling Tour!!
This song is so friking catchy!!
IS IT OK TO CRY! Seriously ;)
Mike The Red Engine Yes it is ok to cry
Maren Ord's version is more likely to do that. :)
The nostalgia really hits
Yes it is
@@CaptainJackSparrowisreal I still have it on VHS tape

Britt Allcroft was the head of the whole show and in the lead made the 5th season very action packed
I heard this and just started crying so many memories
Never got the chance to see it as a kid until recently. And let me tell you, it brought joy to my heart
0:18 it’s Mike from Red letter media go on the IMDb page it’s totally him
Came back to this 25 years later and the tears would not stop felt like I was a kid again this is actually magical.
Ahhh...I used to watch this movie all the time when I was little:)
This song is so beautiful even thinking about it makes me want to cry!🥰
FUCK YEAH; SPARKLE, SPARKLE, SPARKLE! :D
This reminds me off the 1984 Thomas threw the early 2000’s Thomas like if you agree the old Thomas was better
Mini Moose timmons Ringo Starr was, and always will be, the best Thomas narrator
I grew up watching the George Carlin & Alec Baldwin Eras of Thomas.
Nothing will never make me dislike the movie even people thinking I'm a weirdo liking it at this age, it was one of my favourite movies of all time and this song is one of my favourites of all time too.
Objectively not a great movie, but MAN does the nostalgia hit. I always love this movie, even with its short comings
and i thank youtube for reccomending this to me randomly just a wave of memorys
I remember this movie. I got a VHS copy of this movie for my 4th birthday back in 2001 because I liked Thomas the Tank Engine when I was 4.
i gotta see this movie again. i haven't seen it since i was a tiny kid
This was in the deepest channels of my memory.
The fact that they put not just Mr Conductor but Shining Time Station with Stacy and Billy into the movie as well says how deep they went into detail with the movie to include things that had no original connection to Thomas
I want to go back in time and rewatch this
The island of Sodor National anthem is my childhood!
Back in the old days when I was little.
This song is stuck in my head! So I have to watch every min of the day!
This is more of a Shining Time Station movie than a Thomas movie.
Thomas and the Magic Railroad is a amazing movie.
sounds like a song used in a failed MasterCard commercial
This song doesn’t deserve that lmao
To love Thomas, even if you are 20 or 50, it totally ok! Respect man! Thomas the tank engine is a master piece! Are you a collector? :D
The ttte nerd you are such a good Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends fan

Nope it's actually Neil Donell who is currently the lead tenor of Chicago, though I find he sounds like James Taylor in this song.
