  • When an intruder broke into the Winger home and attacked Donnah, her husband Mark shot and killed him, making himself look like a hero. Over the years though, the evidence would prove that was far from the truth.

Well company investigation didn’t confirm it , I’m assuming there is data collecting devices the company had to get info from to see if the car was rapidly accelerating then slowing or rapidly changing left to right. Probably why the driver was willing to meet with them cuz he was confused and upset at the claim. If the irratic behavior was true why would he bother to meet with them cuz he’d be sol with his company when the see the data. I don’t think her claim was true at all if it was why would she want a nut case to come to her house?

Because he was a good fall guy. He was obviously niave too. Pretty sure Mark winger was pretending to offer him job or something in order to get him to come over. Mark was clever.

He made a total dog’s dinner of his murder for having a BA in nuclear physics. Mark must be the Homer Simpson then the Lenard Hofstadter of nuclear engineers. No Mensa murder mystery dinner experience.

Cops were told exactly what happened. Evidence backed up that statement. It only took them six years to decide any of that was relevant. That is some top notch police work. 😳🙄🤬

I had seen this story before but what wasn't publicized was the fact that the cops had all this information from Roger's roommate that he had planned a meeting with Mark and she had actually give him the paper to write the address/time down and told the police, all other stories about this make it seem like the cops had no idea and it was good police instincts that made them re-open the case and here they were just covering up really bad police work

I'm surprised you didn't go more in detail about the boy's father, killing himself and the idea that maybe his wife was in on it in the beginning. She just didn't know that he wanted to kill her as well.
