      Just gotta say, this video your referencing is one of my favorite videos you've made, I have the same pack set up similar, except I have a swedish mess tin in a russian woodland mess tin pouch where your waist pouch was, it's worked pretty solid for me

      They are good packs. but easy to over load.. (The MOLLE II) I miss using mine but i cannot just simply not use a pack after i payed as much as I did for the Finnish one..

    Excellent pack in an excellent camo pattern. Thats pretty much the exact style of pack I have been looking for. Several regular hiking packs are similar, but like this one are a bit too expensive for me. I may save up and buy this one, or just make one of my own.

      Buying kit like this is an anomaly for me.. but it was worth it i think.. Id just as easy go back to my trashbag kit and get just as much done..😃

      Surprisingly Im on the fence about it... But I will say the more it fades the better CAMCOM/terrain matching its effect..

    I like that camo, I got Varustelekas jerven bag clone in M05 just to have an example of it. I don't like what Savotta is asking for their packs, though, so I went with a medium Lowe Alpine, the Dutch want to get rid of their DPM gear and I could get a new, unused Rucksack for 60 Euros. Can't beat that price and the quality is top notch. With the larger size British PLCE side pouches it's almost as much volume as my old Berghaus with his small side pouches. Just more compact and even more comfortable.

      @Evasion.Survival.Alaska  2 роки тому +3

      2 notes of interest about the Dutch packs.. The camo will rub off and you will have a white rucksack.. and 2 they come in two sizes so be aware..

    Very nice pack there Ivarr; it’s a good size and I like the fact that the Molle allows you to and pouches to increase the capacity too. Looks tidy with the additional pouches etc added, gives plenty of options. Do love those snow capped mountains too! All the best, 👍

      @@Evasion.Survival.Alaska Your mindset with training and gear is refreshing and honestly much better suited to prepared civilians than the Instagram tacbros. Sustainment has been a grossly overlooked aspect to line gear, as people typically emulate whatever popular trend is happening. Basing kit on tactics developed for mounted operations, while being a civilian that will likely have to be on foot and living out of their gear, is a fatal approach. I very much appreciate the practicality of your approach.

    Good look at your pack set up. I haven't heard anyone say anything negative about Savotta products. Except the price, but what is good kit worth to you. Looks like it integrates well with the Belt Kit and the Chest rig.

      @@journeyman7189 The price is a little steep but they are made in europe, and the quality is second to none so I'd consider them fair. I have a few. The border patrol pack and one of the canvas 323s that are sadly discontinued and the Jaakari L.

      @@Evasion.Survival.Alaska If you are ever after a big pack check out Varusrelekas own RP80. External frame that's super adjustable for the users height, it's made by Savotta but is cheaper than their own Jaakari XL. I have one but I don't get to use it as much as I'd like, except for PT.
