Philadelphia International Airport - February 10, 2025

This video showcases arrivals into Runway 27R during a Monday afternoon trip to Philadelphia International Airport. When I arrived, there was FOD reported on Runway 27R, requiring several aircraft including an ‪@AmericanAirlines‬ Dreamliner and a ‪@SouthwestAir‬ 787 MAX 8 to go around. The timing of this trip should be of note and by the end of this video, you will realize just why this PHL trip was necessary. While the airlines didn't send any special liveries to PHL, there were extra flights from American, ‪@Delta‬, Southwest, and ‪@united‬ that originated from the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY/KMSY). On an ordinary day, American (and their regional partners) and ‪@flyfrontiervideos‬ typically operate fewer than six flights a day that operate PHL-MSY and MSY-PHL. Between February 6-8, extra flights to MSY were added as the Philadelphia ‪@eagles‬ represented the NFC in Super Bowl LIX, which THEY WON IN CONVINCING FASHION and UTTERLY ANNIHILATED the two-time defending champions, the ‪@KansasCityChiefs‬. The last clip in this video is the Philadelphia Eagles' chartered American ‪@Boeing‬ 777-200ER making its final approach into PHL.
