@@ragegamer2589 Especially the first stage. you can literally go through that stage and take no damage. The two phases of him being the air balloon were annoying but can be killed off easily. The spider and the final (Where he had the dragon sword) were harder phases.

Have nightmares about the second wave of revived enemies. Getting thrown around by the beefy brute and getting smacked across the map by pirate ninja shrukens. And don't forget the fire demon, fencer, and the Eskimo which all seem to have infinite health! I have all gold skulls for all 30 something characters now so it's ok but man when I was young I always thought this should've been the final boss
It's the hardest but this level has 3 waves and the final boss has 6 and he's the main enemy.but I do agree with you he's my fav boss
I've never got past the theifs forest on insane because I'm so stupid I deleted the data bit on purpose.but on Xbox 360 in lvl 20-30 I forgot and on Xbox one I'm level 38 as the red knight.but I thought netro is basically the main boss he's the hardest and he summons lots of enemies on levels e.g. Marsh and the lazy final boss just watches he just commands netro and the enemies to attack the Knights lol

I think the final FINAL boss is kinda hard (final form of the final boss) I mean he's so hard to hit

Gustav Noah Drachmann True. Pipelestro was annoying, but couldn't handle range. Barbarian boss was as slow as poot, and cyclops was easily glitched, making it so he just bounced in lava and died. Necromancer is the only boss that's on your knight's level.

Batopia Carpenter insane mode barbarian boss is deffinetly not slow as poot, he will just run straight up to you and wont leave you alone, the only way to escape is to wait for him to slam that spiky board down

The Necromancer is a long and hard fight (at least with the Skeleton character) but man, the music for this fight is amazing
Even after all these years I still think it’s one of the best games ever. Also, one of the best soundtracks for a game ever.

You're a good older brother. Even if I don't have siblings, I remember playing this with my dad.
I feel like it should have went down like this. Instead of fighting necromancer before the wizard, the wizard banishes him after his two failed attempts in the lava world and swamp and then you fight the wizard and after you defeat him, the necromancer comes back and the wizard begs him to save him. The necromancer then throws him off and then the necromancer fight begins. Nothing in the fight is altered.
It's so strange. The Necromancer was harder than the evil wizard, y'all are right about that.
But damn if conehead groom wasn't the hardest boss in the game.

@@Da1haroon All you gotta do with the undead cyclops is just block, attack, block fireballs, avoid the conehead skeleton, and its just rinse and repeat at that point. Catfish is definitely a cakewalk compared to Conehead and Necromancer. Ice king fight, all you gotta do is do hit and run attacks and you'll get him. Bear and his minions can be annoying but if you can block most of their attacks and focus on the boss Bear, you will be fine. Dragon is simple. Avoid the boulder and flames, kill the demons coming at you.

Oh God, this game and the music was a massive part of my childhood. I remember the necromancer fight was my favourite fight, mainly cuz of his theme.
Every time I faced him I turned music all the way up and put everything else down. Thank you for making this

Funny story. So I love Castle Crashers, but back when it was just released, I was obsessed with the game. Loved it so much I emailed Behemoth asking for a sequel. I basically forced my mother to write it because I was around the age of nine (love you mom!). I eventually got a reply back saying that they don’t ever do sequels, preferring to go forward with a new idea every time. They did say that my concept for a pirate themed exploration genre game would be something super cool that they’d be happy to work on. Looking back, I was probably just fluff, but I held that response close to my heart forever

The Necromancer is one of my favorite bosses. He looks awesome and his theme is awesome. (Good job! You earned a sub.) He isn't the hardest boss but he's fun. Me and my friend call him Dark Metaknight. A name he deserves.

I tried Insane mode. I'm at level 99 on a few of my characters. Didn't even make it to the Abandoned Mill. Dat Mother Troll X_X Gonna try Insane mode with friends.

Get to industrial castle. Get to the final boss. Find yourself getting raped by the hand whilst you're constantly being burnt. It took me about 15 mins to get to the fucking boss to find myself getting trapped and killed in seconds. 15 whole fucking minutes with nothing in the strength stat. Insane mode is fucking insane especially with me having no strength.
It took me about 8 hours to beat the Necromancer boss even w/ the Lightning red character, and I chose red only for the fact that it's magic is OP. But yea, have to agree Insane Mode is a *BITCH.*
I think that's how far I got without being level 99 (oh wait i was level 95)

It took me 25 minutes to beat this guy, he’s should’ve been a final boss. Not a wizard from Harry Potter.
If Castle Crashers 2 dlc is announced (probably not) for castle crashers, They should bring back necromancer but instead of resurrecting minions, he can resurrect bosses from castle crashers 1 (except for himself and evil wizard).
*OR* able to transform himself into large flying skeleton demon with his broken helmet on his head (as a scar from his last batle) that will break during transformation and revealing his face, as well of summoning 1-4 very powerfull skeletons as his bodyguards.
He revives the cyclops AGAIN his spirit is out of him

FL Studio, look it up and work with the free trial. If you ever decide to get the full version, its worth it. I don't really like the new versions but ive got FL studio 10. I tried the newer versions, not fond of them. I may eventually move up but idk.

@@areyalive18 his magic is good if you know how to use it. His projectiles specifically can be used at a longer range if you jump then use them. It's all about strategy

I played through this game with my two best friends last summer. I maxed out my magic and agility/speed, while Dawson maxed out strength and Quincy averaged out on pretty much all the stats. Anyways, when we got to this boss they both got swarmed by the undead enemies, and they where so busy fighting them that I had to take on the Necromancer one-on-one. A showdown to be remembered! To bad that when I beat him I realized that Dawson was dead...

Jennifer Salas the necromancers magic put himself back to life and he got WAY better and he made all the castle crashers knights bad then the king has to stop him from reviving all bad guy and the king has a big army of the bosses on castle crashers 1 because they think the necromancers and wizard are a bad leader to them cuz wizard died and necromancer isn't there leader so there on kings team and if u beat necromancer put him in a magic machine and it gives all the bad knights good and all the dead good guys alive the end how ya like that

The story goes like this the knights are dancing and then it shows the room you fight the necromancer in and hes dead and then you see purple sparks come out of his eyes
then his eyes open flash of white and hes flying then he drops to the floor he looks weak and then fully resurrects himself along with every dead body in the room creates a sword then goes to the weapon storage blows it up and proceeds to move towards the castle then he breaks open the front gate the knights come out and they have a conversation
