I have a teacher who, whenever you start a conversation would go on and on about how the government doesn't care for you and shit like that for like whole classes. She sidetracked so much that once it took her about 3 days to get through like 2 lines of a poem.
It was majestic.

My history teacher from middle school.. Probably the best teacher I’ve ever had. He was relatable, funny, buff as hell, and nerdy. Me and my friends would talk with him whenever we had the chance because he just lightened the mood that much. His wife also works at the school, and she’s just as cool as him. I hope both of you guys get the raise that you deserve. I’m a freshman now, away from middle school. But I still think about his history class from last year and how fun it was. What a guy..
he sounds like the type of teacher id want
I had this calc teacher that would constantly help me and guide me through everything. She was probably the nicest teacher I’ve ever known.
send him or his wife that as a dm on facebook or some shit. I'm pretty sure they'll appreciate it
i have a teacher EXACTLY like that, his wife also works at the school too, but this is in my Highschool... me and him actually like history A LOT so we'd always end up talking in the halls or after school. when you'd go into his room there was a Guillotine model (full size BTW) a student made for extra credit, a model of the Bastille, a Spitfire, and a case FILLED with WWII memorabilia, we're talking officers caps, pictures, Warship models. he even had an authentic Bayonet from world war I, and for a project we did for World War II he'd come in dressed in a full Wehrmacht officers uniform he got from a surplus auction. BEST TEACHER. HANDS DOWN.

My high school world history teacher was one of the best teachers I ever had and he truly did teach us stuff and talk to us like humans not students. The reason he started teaching was that he was a paramedic and mortician and one day he came home and his gf asked how work was and he said “There was an infant that died in her crib today” with a still face and she replied with “You can’t do this any more” so he quit the next day and got a bachelors in history as teaching qualifications

Honestly, my English teacher is the greatest guy ever. He doesn't overcomplicate shit during lessons and add more unnecessary things to overwhelm us as the other ones love to, and the homework isn't that hard anyway. He adds some humor to his lessons too, and they're genuinely funny. He's a pretty casual guy, and one time he saw a comic strip I made (that my art teacher showed him because I sent it to her) and he loves it, he likes comic strips as much as I do and he also gave me a sheet of paper to draw one on during class. He even gave me a magazine called Zabavnik when class started once. He's just really nice, and I wish more teachers were like him.
i have one final question. does he treat one particular student like shit for no reason? if not then i think we have human of the year

I had a gym teacher in elementary, he was in his late 30’s. He always was super nice to me, he was rough on the troublemakers but to the people who actually behaved properly he was so much fun. He always called me “King Carl” and made me feel really good. He died of cancer when I was in the fourth grade.
I had an english teacher who was clearly in his 60’s, but was still super nerdy and chill, he knew he couldn’t do much to teach us considering COVID restrictions, so he said we could just leave and do our assignment once we had the info we needed, or stay if we wanted to talk to him or ask a question. And when we went back to in-person, he showed us an episode of The Twilight Zone in the last 30-45 minutes. And when he admitted he enjoyed Minecraft and Skyrim, me and my friends didn’t even bat an eye, we were just like: “Yeah, this man’s a gamer.” Cause everyone knew he was just a real, genuine guy.

Had a biology teacher in middle school who was the best damn teacher I have ever met. He would teach us everything normally and cover all the material of course. Edit: Yes. Very much agreed on that last statement. None of my gym teachers ever did anything, and yet we had to be doing something. They never taught us anything except for when we had to be graded in something. And even then they would just show up and say:"do the thing". Nevermind if you had never done that in your life, no, that's irrelevant. You had an A if you're naturally good at it and that's it. But this guy- I swear he was magic or something. He could just make them behave. Like they still acted up sometimes but they were a million times better. He also did the Treating-you-like-an-Equal thing and seemed genuinely interested to talk to us. And when you did bad on tests or something, he wouldn’t get mad, he’d just say “I know you can do better than this” like do you have any idea how much that can lift someone’s spirits?
