Don't be sorry for doing longer videos, I quite like sitting and watching longer ones with more examples or techniques - gives me more ideas and inspiration :-)
When this video started I thought “ this is going to be the first of Sasha’s videos that I don’t like” but I ended up LOVING this technique and the cards are stunning!! The turquoise one is my favourite. Thanks for sharing!!
This was all very interesting... pity some of the stencils have been dropped but that's life! You gave some very interesting tips there... I loved the outlining of the flowers and leaves... makes such a difference and your finished cards are lovely... thank you 😊❤
I wasn't too sure about these at first, but once you cut them down...WOW! Then the finished cards, WOW WOW WOW! Definitely adding this technique to my arsenal. TFS!
I was thinking of doing something with embossing stencils for a birthday card I have to make this week then, lo and behold, this pops up this morning making me rethink my less effective technique. I don’t have any long stencils so will have to adapt accordingly. I especially like those where you have used the white pens, thanks for the inspiration.
Ive not seen this technique before. I love how the backgrounds turned out. My favourites are ones with the white pen, especially the yellow and green. The die cut leaves, flowers and sentiments finish them off beautifully.
What a fabulous idea! The cards all turned out very pretty, and together make a really special gift set! I think I like the white outline best overall, but it depends on the ink color and ultimate look one wants. I also thought they looked really nice without that step! I think this video was the perfect length to show this technique and final cards perfectly enough that I feel I could try it with success! Hopefully next weekend. TYFS!!🧑🏼🎨😀👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻
These are really unique like Mary Swartzel says. Very colorful and and a lot of fun to see what you get. Love the cards finished, what a great set for someone as a gift. Thanks for crafting with us.
What a great idea! Personally, I prefer the white pen over the black pen but each is unique. You said you're doing the UK version of the U.S slimline card but you're having to layer several times to fit your "art"!. Maybe a MINI-slimline would work better. Obviously you would convert U.S. measurements to U.K.!!! Maybe your postal service won't mail the size of a "mini-slimline" but I'm sure you're knowledgeable about what they will or won't mail! TFS!
Wow Sasha, what a beautiful set of cards. I love learning new techniques from you. My younger daughter is also called Sasha😊 thank you for the lovely way you share you skills❤ from Nicki all the way round the world in Dunedin, New Zealand.
thank you Nancy, sorry about missing last week. Life at home got a bit chaotic so i focussed on that. Missed getting creative for sure, but thankfully there's still aways time to pick up where i left off the next week
Super cool effect! I think I love the white outline more, but it’s a close call. The end result looks gorgeous though. And OMD what a huge pile of additional creations you have ahead lol. Kind of like your average Gelli printing session 🤷♀️
Loved today's tutorial. There are bunches of stencils in my stash to give this a go. All of the backgrounds are beautiful. Cards are marvellous!! Loved the added touches w/ black & white paint pens. Tried giving you a shout but I doubt my voice carried across the pond.... Thanks so much.
A great technique that I should do again. Didn’t you use watercolor paper? The blue celebrate card is my absolute favorite ❤❤❤ don’t forget to post that one on instagram! See you over there!
Sasha, where did you get those big labels for you distress ink pads. I need those badly. Wow, what great techniques, you have really inspired me. Great texture and colors. Thank you Sasha.
Fabulous!! 😍😍😍 really enjoyed it! Thank you so much for another wonderful technique, I’ll be trying it for sure. Sending you hugs and enjoy your long weekend too😘
Hi. I kept hitting the Like button but it's not showing at all so I have no idea if it's actually working. Thank you so much for sharing this fantastic collection of cards and prints, they're really great. My water reactive inks are a bit rubbish as there don't seem to be any re-inkers for that particular brand so I think I'll have to look around for something else. I have sooo many stencils that I'm dying to try this technique. Thanks again for your time and work for this super video and have a lovely day.😊 Aaah yes, the Like button is now working! 🎉
oh im sure it worked Deb. Normally it does but thank you so much for all the effort you put in to make sure it was working. I really appreciate it. With inks, i think it's so important to get a good set of inks that are really well known, as it's then often a bit cheaper and the quality is well and truly tested. All you need to get started is one of each colour of the rainbow and im sure you'll be set for ages
I do not know if this will help with your handle. Pop the button off where the handle sticks into the crank. There will be a screw down in the handle that you can see now. Tighten the screw to make the handle quick wobbling.
yea my handle is actually totally wonky, it's doesnt wobble, it's like it's bent! yikes! but the rollers make my plates go skew when they run through, the sides of my plates are such a mess. I just need a new machine really
The video didn't feel long as I was so interested in what you were doing. Love the finished cards. Thank you.
awe thank you so much Christine

Wow it look like a magic trick. There weren't any daisy's there. Then they appeared. Such a great idea. I'm going to try this one. Thanks for sharing

Hi Sasha this is the first time you have popped up on my stream for ages, good to see you again x

Fun! Thanks for sharing! If you want to get the sticky off of the stencil, a little rubbing alcohol will take it off.
Yes that would have done the trick! Will go back and sort that this week before i tuck that stencil away, thank you
What fun cards! Cheers from 🇨🇦Calgary, Alberta🇨🇦
Thank you ;)
Beautiful technique, thank you for sharing.

Beautiful colourful cards. Would love to know where you got the coloured envelopes from pls. TY
Each is slightly different. I can't pick a favorite! I do like the black accents over the white but all beautiful! And I don't mind the long video.
Thank you Melissa, you always have such kind words :)
Fab cards and great technique.....must admit I prefer the effect with white pen
It was so so hard to decide! After doing my cards though i think i side with you that the white is better
@@SashaReade think it goes with chalkyness of inks better....loved your idea though

Lovely
Wasn't very impressed to start with, but the finished cards were fabulous. I must try.
These are fantastic! What a great idea. Thanks so much for demonstrating. And, hey, my birthday is in OCTOBER
wahoo, does it feel like i made a 'fall' birthday card? or is it still a bit too halloweeny ?
Fall! But my bday is actually Halloween, so either way it works!
I had to replace the bolt in my handle to keep my big shot going.
❤❤❤
Beautiful cards?
