I sprayed the outside of mine and used stuco to dress it up and painted and used double bubble insulation inside 1/2" away from the wall using only stripes of treated wood. Then sheetrock over the bubble wrap. Added a few more vents outside to vent out any trapped air between the metal and double bubble wrap. Must have moving ventilated air not to build up moisture and mold. Just like your attic in your home has vents to prevent heat and moisture.
I double insulated the exterior of container house then i put brick as the final exterior look. While Intrior was sprayed foamed with drywall. Should prevent any condensation to occur.
My wife and I recently moved to Kentucky. We are thinking about storm shelters. Is your container above ground or buried? Would you put plastic beneath a concrete pad and around walls and top (I think that it should have reinforced concrete around it), or wrap the container itself and then do the concrete?
There's a video of a guy using a tractor to tip his container so he can spray foam underneath, then letting it rest back on the patio foundation. I think that is a great way to go! I worry about bugs getting between your plastic and the container bottom, or here in FL making it a perfect, water-tight seal.
Yeah an explanation would have been so helpful instead of music that explains nothing about anything, I get your spaying something, but what is it, where do you get it, whats the R Value, otherwise this was a total waste of video
polyurathane spray. most of us that watch these videos know enough to know this already. this video isn't for beginners to watch and learn from. there are plenty of channels that will hold your hand and explain everything to you.

My thinking is the insulation products should go on the outside, that's what we're going to do. Insulation on the outside n cladding and solar whirly birds. That should keep the six 40 plus degrees summer months under control.
I was looking at the closed cell spray foam insulation kits and they all measure in board feet. Is there a difference between board feet and square feet?
It's at Lowes or home depot for about $700 . Spray foam kit. It should cover a 20'ft. Shipping container ceiling and the walls at 1 inch thick. It goes by board foot witch equals to a square foot in insulation terms. And the kit at lowes is 600 board foot . Wear protective clothing and gloves and respirator. I hope this helps you any one can do it.
Should also show with first welding high hat metal firing on the walls the screw track along the long side wall ., and possibly run emt conduit along the wall up to the ceiling b-4 the insulation spray......leaving the center ceiling open . so elec. can be open for any changes by end users...! Just a thought jb
To expensive to much skill and work required I live in a swamp very humid and I'm gonna try the foam board. That spray can turn into an expensive mess unless you have experience with it
Lolll pour l'avoir fait durant 15 ans je peut dire sans l'ombre d'un doute que ces cheveux et ces sourcil n'ont pas aimé sa!😂 Met toi une cagoule mon gars
2lb foam has an r value of about 7, funny thing is at 2inchs it stops over 96% of heat and ore energy transfer , anything over 2 in of foam is a waist of money, what that means is every inch after the 2in only ads up to 1% , foam has very few drawbacks but it is the best product on the market ,
Pidelo como poliuretano para esprayar; es poliuretano a veces se encuentra en latas de spray, ojala la encontraras en tu ciudad en esa combinación de dos envases para trabajo industrial no domestico👍
We spray 40mm thick to avoid the condensation at the ceiling. Then we install 40mm or 50mm PIR/PUR sandwich panels. The coefficient of insulation (R) should be around 3.05 to 3.45
i agree it would be nice to know...when i am not wron they even covered the manufacturer of the sprayfoam. looks like this chanel is only for self promotion. not to give others advice. sad. if you are from america there is an alternative sprayfoamkit.com/foam-it-green/ hope this helps
Pas très explicite!!!! C'est quoi ce produit miracle? Son nom? Quo le fabrique ? Ou peut-on l'acheter. Quel prix? Quel pouvoir isolant thermique? Phonique...au une indication!!!!! Aucun intérêt !
Tu devrais lister tout, en tout cas j’adore les vidéos
Would of been useful if you explained step by step what materials you were using and why you were using them
Did you get by with just one froth Pak? Or did you have to use multiple?

doing a good job & like this
Much easier fix, lay 6 mil plastic sheeting under the container, I have 3 containers 45' and now they stay perfectly dry for about $50.00 bucks

Won’t the condensation get trapped between foam and container??
Yes, it will
No it won’t. It will end it. Same as a metal pole building. It stops the humidity getting to the metal thus it stops the condensation
@@AntStepp um no it won't

I was looking at the closed cell spray foam insulation kits and they all measure in board feet. Is there a difference between board feet and square feet?
I may be wrong but I'm guessing "Board" feet would mean linear feet (length of board) and square feet would mean length x width measurements
1 board foot measures 12"x12"x1" thick. You can do the math from there
Board feet is square feet at 1 inch thick.
How to toxic is the vapor gas once the unit is complete?
None
You need to list the materials used on each step...

Is there a reason why you didn't use the spray foam on the walls as well?
En España no se puede conseguí esos envases

Hello,
you're right, we didn't want to advertise a particular brand of sprayfoam kit. It's Froth-Pak 180 QR.
Is this useful for shipping Cargo
