- My wasteland clinic - that to be completely honest, could be any kind of shop. But the intent was for it to be a clinic when building.

If we ever experienced an apocalypse, we know who to go to first for shelter.
You might already know but you can move the cars with a minigun if you want them out of the way but not scrapped. Just drop a minigun then pick it up (grab/hold) and use the barrel of the gun to push cars. Works on most of them but not the completely trashed vehicles or trucks.

Something I like to do when building a clinic is to dress up one settler as a "doctor" and one as a "nurse" (gender not specified, I just grab whoever is available. The doctor gets a dirty lab coat, the nurse one of those white undershirts). I then put the doctor at the shop, and the nurse at one of those surgery chairs from Vault Tec.

I made a hospital/ docter build some time ago. You can place two of train pieces next too each other. Using the doorway ends. This way I made a waiting area with the "docter" shop. Then they pass the sliding doors into the docters office with a bed and a desk. More elaborate builds could have a sick wing on top or just housing for a docter and nurse. Anyway it's all grand!

I'm kind of hoping there's a base building mechanic in the next elder scrolls. One a little more in depth than Skyrim's "Hearthfire" dlc.
Im sure there will, settlement building was a huge success.
As long as they don't focus too much on it. It's a cool feature, but it's more important that Bethesda focuses on the RPG aspects of the game and possibly develop a better engine than the current one.
I like the idea of rebuilding a burnt down city like you know that place at the very start of the game that was burnt down by the dragon

Yes the mod is called "Scrap Fallout" some more you might like are "Better Settlers" and "Immersive Vendors".
Hey David, another great video. in case no one else has said it, you should be able to pillar glitch those shop counter tops into place. I did at Starlight and got them in the open slots of the concession stand part of Starlight. just glitched them right into the counter. they kind of poker through, but it looks "grand".

Don't know if you know these things;
Pro tips You know the garden plots? you can put waterpumps in there because the game identifies that as a 'dirt ground'
You know the metal prefabs wall and roof bit? You can snap thin wooden wals on the outside of the wall bit.
And dude, i really enjoy thine content.
I'm picky with mods, I only have a few for all my Bethesda game but after a while they become essential for me. On all of them I have some kind of mod which increases the damage that you take and receive because I find it very immersion breaking when you can shoot some guy 15 times and have them not only be alive but even not be visibly injured. In Skyrim and Fallout you are just a got amongst slightly less powerful gods.
When you get mods, try a settlement in the Crater of Atom. I've got a mod to turn it into a settlement and the better junk fences mod, which allows you to make round walls and adds snapping points for floors. So I made a MASSIVE circular wall, and then snapped floors onto it and did it several times, getting smaller towards the center. It's time consuming but man does a circular settlement look awesome.
Manufacturing Extended will allow you to convert any dead bodies into meat and bone. Not sure what to do about skeletons, except for putting them in a closet.
even the smallest cabin you make looks better than every settlement I ever made...combined...
Scrap dead things: is the mod, although most scrap mods tend to screw with navmesh. Don't call me settler is the option I use as it enables you to burn corpses.
The "scrap things" mods usually break select all glitch mechanics. I haven't tested it with only "scrap dead bodies" version (there is one for pc), but I think they all work in the same way. Since you're not going to have "move anything" alike mods (and didn't want to use them), you likely won't be able to scrap bodies.
Regarding those bodies lying around... I basicly blew them the hell out... 2 mines and a shot and they flew the f#$k out in first try! Migh wanna give that a try.

Scrap fallout gets rid of everything, also workshop rearranged will give you all the items (even those chem boxes) you could want.
scrap dead things. gives you leather bone and fertilizer for monsters. gives you marble for people so you can build them tombstones.
as far as bethesda assets check out settlement objects expanded.
I'm so glad you are still doing Fallout 4 settlement building videos. By the way, have you ever seen +Darkdally's videos? He has some great building technique videos!

Edit 2: I also hope that there are PS4 versions mods like Expanded Settlement Buildings (www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3126/?) and Craftable Greebles (www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15229/?) that just add already existing in-game meshes and assets to the settlement building menu!

Hey Davey, just want you to know, all I'm interested in is Fallout 4 product. I love this clinic.
Their is a mod I use on XB1 that's called "don't call me settler" that gives you the ability to burn and get rid of corpses in settlements. Among a shit load of other things that the mod can do. (all in game) so should be available to the PS4.
finally the question is answered. i was wondering and very angry when the small shops don't worked with the pillow glitch. i tried it in sooooo many ways, jeeez. XD
Davey, I believe that the Don't Call Me Settler mod gives you the ability to get rid of bodies.

Get the mod that says Scrap all. and as it says, you can scrap almost all. I get my settlement build bar down to 0 then start building. just scrap slowly and save often in case you remove a needed item that you cant get back. I love that mod.
@norespawns there is a mod up on beth net by andrewcx which says in the description you can scrap dead bodies. the mod is called unlock settlement objects. Hope this helps. love your builds.
on Xbox there's a mod called place everywhere that has the option to disable objects and bodies. if that gets ported to ps you'll be set
Yes, scrapping mods are completely doable. Sony's rule is 'plugins only', and that's all you need to make stuff scrappable.

I JUST found out this is a settlement you can get. Because somehow I missed it even though I've been there before. Anyway, I found out on CordlessVII's tour of his Boxcar Town. Just wondering if you saw that too, or if it's a coincidence you picked this place for your boxcar clinic. Either way, Happy (almost) Channelversary! (even though I've only been here for about 4 months. Shhh. Don't tell anybody)

2. I appreciate your over use of windmills. Renewable energy is the way of the future and regular generators are boring.
It should be possible for a body removal mod to come to PS4 as it simply changes the tag on the corpses from unscrappable to scrappable. I have two mods on my Xbox One that allows for the removal of all those annoying grass tufts, rubbish piles, dead bodies etc. Called Cleaning the Commonwealth or something like that. So, yes, it should be possible for PS4 to have mods that can remove dead bodies because it's modifying the base game files and not adding or removing any new assets which is the restriction PS4 mods will have
for removing cporpses I only know the hold an item and Push the corpse method. I did it in Starlight with the skelletons

I am at LvL140 in my playthrough, and have stepped up to very hard ,but I still find tyme to go to some of my settlements and "Davey" them up a bit . I now have a cool shed in Sanctuary with a roller shutter door done the way you showed us to do powered doors . So please even though you are on the wrong console (he he) keep on doing them
There's a mod called 'scrap fallout' and it allows you to scrap more things, including Bodies. I have it on Xbox one so it might come to Ps4.

the mod your looking for is scrap fallout it allows you to scrap skeletons and other junk but be careful when using it cause you can scrap things you may not want to ok

I have a mod on Xbox called 'Don't call me settler' that gives you a settlement toolbox in a holotape. Let's you burn bodies and summon unassigned settlers and shit.
Also gives all the settlers actual names! 👍🏻

norepsawns has completely changed the way I do my building. I keep deleting my saves and starting over after getting re-energized for his techniques.

Hard to say. I am guessing it is up to Sony to decide if applying existing script/functions count as external asset or not. Some said it is external, some said it is not.
Also, there's a mod which replaces brahmin with eyebots. And eyebots don't get stuck everywhere for fuck's sake.
have you ever tried to build a box-like structure, put a corpse into it and lowered the whole thing with the pillar glitch into the ground? i'm not sure if this works, but it could.
I hope the Hangmans Alley Apartments mod comes to ps4. That and a few others are all I'd need.
When your thirst for chem boxes has been sated, have you considered giving vault tec another glance? Graygarden is just begging to be turned into a robot only above ground vault/factory/arena.
I just wish Bethesda had added a door to one of those curved concrete walls ! :(
Place Anywhere has a feature that allows you to disable static corpses, but scrap everything (do not recommend) does, but it creates false barriers.
Nick Brewer why not scrap everything. It seems to work just fine to remove trash, rubble, rock, bushes, etc. I haven't had any problems? But I also haven't scrapped anything huge.
It creates false collisions for example you can not sink anything in at sanctuary were grass can be scrapped

Don't Call me Settler comes with an array of management tools. including "Corpse Burn." It turns all corpses, within the settlement, to ash and then "sweeps" them up.
@norespawns I get the whole using one mod thing... I like the idea of playing the game the way it was meant to be played. I just wished they'd given us allll the resources through workshops. I hate not getting trophies while having mods

It's a shame my game glitched out and that save got deleted... (I was lvl ~70 now ~20) i lost all builds...
I use a scrap everything mod on pc with no issues and it scraps bodies. hopefully it'll come to ps4 for you.
