Secrets of MacLaren Hall

The short documentary film “Secrets of MacLaren Hall” by Adrian Hernandez tells the story of MacLaren Hall Children’s Center, a foster care facility in El Monte, California originally run by the Los Angeles County Department of Probation.
The audio is from a 2011 UCLA oral history interview with Sandra Serrano Sewell, a social advocate who served on the LA County “watchdog”’ commission for children and families.
