I like this sort of TF. A character that turns into a whole armada of military vehicles. So tired of the same old characters being remade over and again. The playfeatures are a welcome touch. I'm beginning to crave third party stuff that has simpler transformations and is fun to play with. I love the dark grey and purple colours on a Decepticon too.
This one being light is likely due to having it be fully able to combine with the Fans Hobby version of Armada Megatron/Galvatron. A more solid, heavy toy would make that combination far more unstable than it already is. (It looks impressive, but looks are about it.) Overall, I do like the Hasbro Legacy version, even if I did have to get a kit to add posts to the transport to get it to secure better. But I'm the type who's not shy about upgrade kits if I feel they make sense (I do have third-party spoilers for all eight of my Lambos).
I know you’re not going to be able to find them the additional faces and missiles are taped to the clamshell, I missed them until FH pointed it out to me via messenger just for anyone else waiting on theirs. Oh and the outward motion for the arm is just the aircraft carrier parts moving outward for the shoulder, the purple pontoon parts are technically part of the body
Well I really like it. Was one of my anticipated figure of 2024 and got it before Christmas. Also I never owned the original growing up. So getting put me back into being a kid and Armada was my g1.
MMC has a Sky Lynx and he's pretty nice. Don't know about scale but, I do like him. I've never really paid attention to scale as I pretty much but whichever figures I like regardless of scale.
Honestly the gimmicks of this guy is fun , but I have to give it for Hasbro Tidal Wave , just because I like the scale more, Plus I say for a Titan class , he is fun to handle
His japanese name is SHOCKWAVE, the shoulder can move outward after the rotation, you dont need to use the purple section, but the the range is not that great
I can't believe I am saying this, but the Hasbro version is better,, I say that because normally Fans Hobby versions look and feel better than the Hasbro versions. Yes, it is missing some of the articulation found here, but it also does others better, it is much taller, which fits with a character you do not really care for as you mentioned, but he is a "titan", that mass-shifts for combination with Megatron that I always found silly to begin with. The Hasbro version looks imposing, while this is "cartoony" which, is fine, but TidalWave should instill fear into the Autobot and Decepticon ranks. This does not do that!
Fanshobby usually never fails but this is not great at all and the Hasbro one is awesome they were smart to make the miniature version of tidalwave to combine with the armada Megatron and Galvatron instead of doing it the way Fanshobby did.
This isnt a great figure. It could have been amazing, but Fans Hobby seem to have dialed it in. It feels compromised for the Megatron gimmick that few people are realistically going to use.
Gotta say, Hasbro did it better - and bigger, so to speak. FH got the gimmicks but Hasbro's is just far more imposing and better looking. And they handled the Megatron combination FAR better, even if by cheating somewhat.
The term you were looking for in regards to the control center is “bridge”. Basically like from Star Trek.
Yeah, the navy were inspired by Star Trek to use that term for their boats.

The missiles and faces are taped underneath the clamshell. Took me ages to find them
That small bit falling out had me like..."Awww, hell no." 🤣🤣🤣
Intro has crazy base in the car pumps me up
I know you have had a couple of answers already, but the raised command deck on a ship (at least in the UK) is called the 'conning tower'.
The entire building/command control structure on an aircraft carrier is called the 'island'.
Thank you lol

Bobby Tsunami!!
Bridge. If your a scifi fan most scifi spaceship terms come from the navy 👍
The term you are looking for is wheelhouse or bridge

Its different because this is based off the IDW version
Wish they would do a broadside or mp Skylynx. Either FT or FH.
01 studio is doing a broadside

The bridge.
a giant boss in ps2 game that is badass

Observation Deck?
Take a look at the Hasbro one Skully. It's from 2024.
One of the few times Hasbro did it better
Depends. The gimmicks and alt modes are way better but hasbro looks way better. The lack of gimmicks on the hasbro one and no minicon pegs is insane.

@14:50 Bobby says the word "flaps" 6 times in less than 20 seconds and never once says "So to speak". What's going on?
Seems very Flimsy

I feel a bit sorry for Fans Hobby in this case. Hasbro beat them to the punch and this version looks small and skinny in comparison.
The Hasbro titan just looks better. I can't get passed how skinny and lanky he is.
Yeah, their armada prime and megs also look better then the FH options.

It's too skinny, no weapons, not as good looking as the Hasbro one.
@@microkarlkneecaps are wayy too high

It really captures the tacky, cruddy quality of the original toy!
Please forgive me, but the Hasbro version is better.
its skinny and boney and not made buy tony
That cartoon was terrible
