They took over an aging line from Mattel, and then made ALL their newer IPs in the same style, but with worse QC. The only good thing I can say is that the accessory loadout on Ultimates figures is always impressive, but nearly everything else is lacking. The Silverhawks were a shockingly bad. Literally their only advantage is getting a hold of nostalgic IPs that no one else has. Contrast this to a company like Storm Collectibles, who also started off with cool IPs people really wanted, but shoddy QC problems, but they have actually fixed all those early issues and improve year after year. Sure, they are expensive, but they also feel like they are worth it.
I would have to disagree with the assessment on magic square Swindle, injust picked up both him and brawl and I was impressed. Loads of paint, looks just like what I've been watching for 40 years from G1. This was my first masterpiece scaled swindle and brawl, and missing out on who came before was a blessing. (I have 7 detolfs full of mp scaled g1 figures) 2024 out with a bang! Happy new years fellow transformers😂
Hmm your video reminded me that Nemesis Enforcer was one of my most disappointing purchases this year. He's too thick, the joints are too loose for all that it has to support, the wings are cool but also annoying, his elbow spikes are waaaaay too long (trimming mines made him a lot better), and his hands/wrist joints suck, with no alternate hands included.
They're not bad figures as most of the complaints I hear about them are the prices they charge. To me, they're on par with GI Joe figures but, instead of being $25, they're $55 - $65 a figure. I get the licensing fee they have to pay but, they should be like $35 - $40 figures because of it.
I wanted to say this in the previous video. FT Scourge is horrible to transform! He is more xtransbots than Xtransbots, if that makes any sense. It's spaghetti engineering. I can't imagine this being called a good figure.
They are just super lucky, being able to acquire old 80's IPs that have a lot of nostalgia attached to them, but that no one else is working on. I'm pretty sure their Transformers figures were practically DOA because, well, there's several Transformers lines, and they are all better than Super7. Their Joes seem to be dying as well. I got their BAT, just because I love evil robots, but the Hasbro BAT blows it out of the water in nearly every metric.
If Jada could get a hold of some of the IPs Super7 has, they would completely crush them in competition. I'm pretty sure every line Super7 has that has some sort of direct competitor is getting crushed (Transformers, GI Joe, and Turtles come to mind).
Happy new year Bobby
I'm glad that 2024 finally made us agree that the Super7 Thundercat's line suck
what do they do that doesn't?
Super 7 in general sucks man. Overpriced galore. I literally went to sell some super 7 stuff at a local shop and they didn’t even want it.
@@ermac9275 Yeah, I feel scammed. Never mind their horrible articulation, even their paint app sucks. They should be around $20

I made the right decision and skipped on Snarf and company. Going to finish out my Thundercats with Mattel
I really look forward to these lists from you. Thanks Skully top shelf content as always
Great video and great figures for your list. Glad you had a good 2024! Wishing you all the best for 2025!

Happy new years fellow transformers😂
We appreciate what you do kind sir!
For Batman, the cape doesn’t appear to be the issue, it was his extra shiny balls! 😂
The end of year list videos ,the best and worst and all that is probably my favorite part of the you tube year
I admit I was totally shocked with MMC Groove, especially after getting Xtransbot version. MMC totally nailed it.
Magic Square’s first MP was Optimus
The magic square bruticus figures have been some of my best purchases of the year.
10:00 nobody panic, those aren't Batman's balls. For those unfamiliar it's just the hook-shaped stands that these type of figures often use.
I was staring at that for a good 10 seconds thinking why would they do that until i finally realized it was the stand.

The wings are such a disappointment. Don't feel like they are to scale and one of them on mine droops.
Keith topping 2 lists! Hitting both ends of the scale is weirdly poignant given the state of XTB/KFC right now.
Punch / Counter Punch is who you mentioned.

I don’t remember ever hearing anyone say something nice about a super 7 product . I’m sure i must have but the complaints seem to be more memorable

that batman stand holder arm thing is straight wrong bruh

Magic Square’s first MP was Optimus not Brawl
I didn’t say their first MP I said the First MP where they upsized
I still need Mafex Bane
I don't get how Super 7 still continues to exist and make not so good figures.

Super 7 is on the way down, Jada on the way up, and quickly on both accounts

I could swear I just saw this a couple days ago. Is this a re-upload then?
These are ones Bobby actually purchased, so there is overlap as he says in the intro.
