Get your XP on lower difficulty, then the jet pack can literally MELT everything in any mode if configured correct!! The perk that does 100% more damage but lowers the spread of ground slam is key to 1 shotting majoris,with a Vanguard team mate with the ability perk, it's soooo fun!
Your videos made me realize I didn't have to sprint through higher difficulties. I've learned better how and when to stand my ground and how to use the mechanics of the game better. I am now a murder machine. Thanks!
You gave me the confidence to solo lethal! So far I've only done it with the Noob Launcher, I succeded on my first try on Inferno then died due to a second of bad focus at the very endstage of Fall of Atreus... I got busted up by Zoanthropes or sniper spam when I try to Assault! I can't do it yet without the noob tube grenade spam to instantly delete the Zoanthropes or ranged Terminators.
Those rubric marines and their I'm going to kick you now, but oh by the way - after the wind up you get to find out that this one is unparryable. Bastards. Right up there with the Hellbrute on that overhead swing that sometimes is and sometimes isn't. Awesome job on this.

Damage of that perk is addictive, it one shots majoris on substantial but not on ruthless or higher (chaos majoris have less health). It also really neuters the splash. See 0:30 or 0:49 for example. There were some minions left and no shot they'd survive with normal splash. You can remedy that a little by selecting additional splash on hammer, you would need to trade healing perk though.
@@bruterasta as long as I got double charged slam and all the jet pack perks I can hang, but you do NEED good team mates as assault. Need skill as any class in lethal.
Do you have tips to deal with the shooter marines, with the flames its alright i get close and either gap close with the ult or circl them but the shooters i feel like i have to waste so much ammo because it feels like a death sentence meleeing them without diving in with ult
regarding the hammer talents, surprised that you dont take the extra swing on aftershock. Instead of the 3rd perpetual strength, would it be better to take majoris slayer? Or is there a damage threshold. Need to do some more research
I think they are, I first tried this mission on solo lethal and I can't say that for any of the tyranid missions. Tyranid honestly just have more oppressive ranged enemies now because of the overwhelming amount of devourers+tyranid snipers+zoanthropes the game sends at you. Their hordes are also far more mixed and Chaos extremis rarely get in your face while simultaneously blasting you. Rubric Marines when enraged can still delete you which you can see happen to me at 40:16 but their attacks are actually far easier to dodge if you don't stand in their face(unlike me here) and I'd still take them over an enraged devourer or sniper any day. The hardest part of chaos is that their mission objectives SUCK so they wind up feeling harder in some spots than the actual faction units are.
@@FirstTourGuardsman thats interesting, so far in my runs the chaos enemies are somewhat more tricky using a bulwark, have to be VERY methodical to kill enemies, specially enraged and missile terminus ones, reason why is that Tyrannids have more melee prescence that you can parry, which seems to be the main source of the bulwark's damage in many cases (I really feel that they somehow nerfed the power sword's damage) so engaging them is a really slow phace otherwise their auto fire can melt you (which is more deadly if you need to hold some kind of objective that they can pepper from afar).

Also, usually even maxed out assaults are more of burden than help. That class requires not only gear and perks but also skill.
