- Dedicated to the incomparable Ingrid Bergman.
She was a tremendously talanted actress, but also a wonderful person.
She was born on August 29,1915 in Sweden. She came to Hollywood in 1939, but before that she had alredy made 11 films in Sweden. It was David O Selznick who invited her to Hollywood for the film Intermezzo:A Love Story, with Leslie Howard. It was the 1942 Casablanca that made her a huge star, and after that she had an incredibly successful career,
She was nominated for an Academy Award seven times, and won 3; for Gaslight (1945), Anastasia (1957) and Murder On The Orient Express (1975), the latter one was a supporting role.
She died in 1982, on August 29 (her birthday).
But she will forever be remembered and loved for her many great performances. - Розваги

She was a true star - so sad she died too young - but she will live on in our hearts and memories for years to come. They dont make stars like her anymore

I think Ingrid Bergman's gaslight and probably Casablanca and for whom the bells toll are examples of film noir which was referred to by the French for movies of the 40's and 50's-double indemnity (1944)-is an example others like Maltese falcon are also examples-I may be wrong about Bergman's movies-may have to recheck -maybe🌷😇
