I've seen so many Vivien Leigh tributes on YT. This is my favorite. Just lovely, thank you. It made me realize why I love her (acting) so, and it is because she can express everything without ever having to say a word. Look at her expression as Blanche Dobois at 31 seconds. It says everything that words cannot say. How did she do it? Or at 1.27 - shouldn't even be possible. You almost sense a sort of desperation on her part to convey these things, to bring them across. She positively glowed.

@Bandtrip50 Have you ever heard of bi-polar disease? She was very ill, and there were was no medicine at that time. Now Lithium keeps it under control. Lawrence Olivier loved her but couldn't live with her. All of her mis -carriages were self inflicted. She didn't want children. Her suffering showed on her face. There are no happy endings.
You don't know that her miscarriages were "self-inflicted." You're speculating about it. From all biographies about VL and Olivier, all say that she did want a child with "Lawrence." So there is that. It's a good thing for "Lawrence" that wife #3, Joan Plowright, could live with the fact that "Lawrence" was a consummate philanderer.
