Okay, the third guy who LEFT HIS CAR RUNNING with HIS 2 YEAR OLD CHILD INSIDE is just as responsible for his car being stolen as the thief who stole it! Leaving your car running and the doors open is just asking for your car to be stolen! And leaving your 2 year old in an unlocked running vehicle is just asking for your kid to be kidnapped! It’s infuriating that the NEGLECTFUL father wasn’t charged with CHILD ENDANGERMENT. What if his car and child weren’t found? What if the thief was AFTER the toddler?!?!! He’s incredibly lucky he got his car and kid back. Just hope he learned his lesson, cuz if it happens again, he really needs to be charged with endangering that child. And I’m not gonna lie, I don’t think he’s gonna learn his lesson.
100% agree, but any sane person would NOT take advantage of that. I wish we could just trust everyone but sadly we live in a cruel fucked up world with a bunch of monsters. The dad is totally at fault but we can’t take away from blaming the messed up individual who took the car
He's too trusting, yes. But he was clearly in a rush for whatever reason. He sprinted inside. While it was most certainly a terrible mistake on every front, saying he didn't learn is stupid. Everyone in the world learns at least a little from mistakes, and one that grand is most certainly going to have him be a lot more careful with his son in the future. You know he's not a bad intentioned father because his child was crying for daddy.
This story is a shocking reminder of how parental negligence can directly endanger children's lives. It's alarming that despite numerous warnings about the dangers of strangers, some parents still fail to supervise their kids properly. The couple's use of their own child as bait is disgusting, but it's also a wake-up call for parents to be more vigilant and proactive in educating their children about these dangers. Relying solely on police to protect our children is not enough; parental responsibility and awareness are crucial in preventing such terrifying incidents.
Momentarily taking your eyes off ur kids, isn’t neglecting them. Theres many many kidnappings that happened when parents pay attention to their other children or look away for 2 seconds. Kids are curious and trusting and that can lead them to wander for 2 seconds. And not only that but they were using their own child as bait. That child is clearly in an abusive household and kids trust other kids because realistically they don’t think that their parents are trying to sex traffic children. I doubt they were “neglecting” their kid
@@CatsSmore Leaving your 2 year old in an unlocked, running car is neglect .... Car could be stolen, engine could stop and thus no AC or the car could outright catch fire. Here 2 kids nearly died because the parents had them in the back seat sleeping and decided to empty the car when they got home, before unloading the kids. Sounds like not a big deal, but they went into the house to drop what they had taken from the car, when they came out the enginebay of the car was engulfed in flames, had they been a minute or 2 more inside the house before going to get the kids, they would have been crisped...
@@JohnDoe-bd5sz the unlocked part yeah extremely stupid, but as kids my siblings and I were left in the car with the windows open or the car on in the winter. I NEVER opened the car for strangers. my foster mom took LONG grocery runs. (The kind where she needed 2 full carts) but she was just going in to ask for a pump. It’s stupid, not neglectful. There’s a huge difference there. And as a kid raised in the foster care system because of neglect and abuse I can tell the difference. And what happened to those kids sounds horrible, but again that’s not neglect, that’s “just wait in the car so we can unload super quick” again I’ve been there as a kid before. Those parents had no way of knowing the entire car would almost explode. That sounds like a freak accident.

As a non-american, bond is a crazy concept... i just cant wrap my mind around the idea of someone kidnapping a child, and then is set free if the person pays some money. absolutely insane to me
Bond is promise to show up to court. If they fail to show up, they become fugitives of the law and will be facing additional charges on top of what they are already charged with. It's controversial and the reasons why people do or don't get bond differ from case to case.
@@drygnfyre i understand that, i just dont think its a good way to go about it. i also do understand that there is alot more people in the us than where im from. maybe its just not possible to lock up every single offender, and then process the cases. have to be a good system in majority of the cases, sometimes it just doesnt make sense
Bail I can understand, as its a get-out-of-jail-paid card (the free part comes from the fact that they don't serve much if any of the normal sentence) However, bond is, as a user said above, a paid promise to go to court. The person has not yet been convicted of anything and therefore has not been stripped the full right to liberty. If a law-abiding person didn't do anything against the law they can pay this fee to effectively only be held within the time of the trial rather than the number of days it takes till said trial can be started.

Wtf. Not fit to be a father
i mean, this used to be a way more normal occurrence than today, like even pre-covid it was more normalized. you can't tell if someone is completely unfit from one mistake like this one. maybe today, when we are way more aware of the dangers. most of the people i know were raised by parents that left them alone in the car with AC and i remember seeing it a lot only a few years ago or so. doesn't make it right, but ignorance doesn't always equal ill intent.

Exactly what I was saying to myself.
Right wtf was that!
100% agree, but any sane person would NOT take advantage of that. I wish we could just trust everyone but sadly we live in a cruel fucked up world with a bunch of monsters. The dad is totally at fault but we can’t take away from blaming the messed up individual who took the car
had to scroll too far to see someone mention that, i have no words.
Bro rlly written the whole bible verse 💀

@@danielweinreich7766at this point they haven’t been convicted of a crime though…
Bail I can understand, as its a get-out-of-jail-paid card (the free part comes from the fact that they don't serve much if any of the normal sentence)
However, bond is, as a user said above, a paid promise to go to court. The person has not yet been convicted of anything and therefore has not been stripped the full right to liberty. If a law-abiding person didn't do anything against the law they can pay this fee to effectively only be held within the time of the trial rather than the number of days it takes till said trial can be started.
