This was an honest dialogue!
Great interview that didn’t feel grimy. Mike took accountability for his part, was reflective and shows that we all can grow.
Mike is my favorite QB of all time and as a giants fan when he went to Philly it was great seeing him whoop on the division for those couple years. 😂
One of the best redemption stories of all time. Taking accountability and becoming a better person because of it
Mike Vick the legend. What an INCREDIBLE athlete. Happy to see you get him on Shannon
My favorite mike Vick story is how he said Coach Andy Reid cared those are the people we need to love ❤️
Mike Vick is and will ALWAYS BE LEGENDARY!!
The interview we were all waiting for! Thank you, Shannon! I'll never forget the words that Skip said to Mike Vick a few years ago. Mike Vick is a good man who made a terrible mistake and paid dearly for it but also someone who has paid his price to society and his achieved redemption and should be looked at as an example as to why sometimes people deserve second chances. 💯
- dang what skip say ?
A good man doesn’t nail dogs to trees and shoots and electrocutes other ones. Read about what was discovered in his rings.

That’s a classic interview. Vick will always be one of the greats.
That’s my guy M. Vick!!! I loved him as a Quarterback but even more respect ✊🏾 as a man… just sad how we lose everything, but other folks can slide 🛝
One of the best athletes ever and such a great role model. When people whine about cancel culture after someone is called out or exposed for wrongdoing or crimes, MOST people want to see the work and contrition Vick put in after his dogfighting mistakes to make it right. He wasn’t “cancelled” because he took accountability and changed his life for real. What a story
Michael Vick is the direct reason football is like it is today.
Actually, Randall Cunningham was doing the same in Philly long before Vick.
@@KSU-ce2uc true but he didnt change it.
Facts
@@carreery it was more about the NFL not accepting it. Doug Williams was a running and passing QB before that. Both were dynamic runners and better passers than Vick.
Randall was the best passing running QB. His stats in that era, where that of traditional pocket passers.
I'm so glad I got to see this man play best quarterback. He's the one man that change the quarterback position the way it is now he's a Hall of Fame in my book.🔥🔥🔥🔥
I'm 30 I've been watching Vick growing up and im a bucs fan so we hated playing him....He toyed with us 2 times a year...I gained so much respect after watching this video. Stay blessed Vick and Shay!

He’s the allen iverson of the nfl. Change the culture and a true pioneer from his swag to hid skills
BOTH FROM VA 757❗️
We needed this interview Shay! Vick wouldn't have sat down with anyone else (maybe Cam Newton)!
This conversation is so important. Thanks unc !
Mike Vick… Mike Vick y’all. Changed his garments … sincerely and keeping humble.
Really appreciated the show. It was kept real, no different than any chat amongst friends.
M Vick and Bert Jones remain my fav QBs
Can’t believe how much I enjoy Mike sitting still. Proud of that arc as a man. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Mike Vick living legend hope all does well for him
This guy was so dynamic... Just a flick of the wrist and could zing that ball 50 yards.🏉. He was 1 of my favorite
Glad to see Mike Vick bouncing back happy for ya Bro. Let’s go Eagles 🦅
Straight football speaking Mike was a great that, self admittedly, dissipated the opportunity to show the world his greatness. Which effected me specifically as a Falcons fan, knowing 2007, and on, could have been an extremely special period for the city. Respect to #7 for taking every punch life has thrown at him and continues to present his greatness in a positive way.
Shout out to MV for accepting his mistakes, owning them, and turning his life around. Nothing but love and respect for you bruh! Still the best running QB in history! Can’t wait for the race vs TO.
Shout to Shay for this epic interview. Probably the best one to date!
Best Mike Vick interview no excuses can you hearing it from him and what his mindset at the time
The run on Minnesota. Epic. Defenders were colliding 💯💯💯💯
And probably the strongest arm ever...... much love to this brother
I don't know why I'm just seeing this but I'm so glad I found this. Mike Vick's story is so encouraging for me because he made no excuses for his mistakes and he was able to overcome them! Respect sir!
Great podcast Shay Sharpe, this was and awesome interview with Mike Vick. You knocked this one out the park!
Mr. Sharpe, this interview with Mr. Michael Vick is one of your best in my opinion. Continued Success 🤙🏾
Thank you Shannon for that interview we often see things growing up that are illegal but normalized in our communities. I never knew dog fighting was a federal offense because growing up in the south it is normalized and lots of people do it. Mike Vick was definitely made an example of or better yet poster child.
Completely rehabilitated himself.. Great interview. Looking forward to seeing the Michael Vick Documentary. Michael Vick is a Special human being and the humility he displayed is something to be admired.
Still remember the 1st time I saw this guy play when he was at Virginia Tech vs FSU. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. The most electrifying QB I've ever seen. Lamar Jackson can run....but he's a shadow of prime Mike Vick! Dude was unbelievable at ATL!🔥
Great interview. Much respect to Michael Vick!!!
What this man did for our city cant be said enough
Salute to a great man that changed the league and paved away for other QB’s
Grown up in GA was special with this dude in the city. He’s the only reason why I started watching football.
This man redeemed himself so well. Really shows his backbone that having what he had, lost it, and then climbed back up to true redemption. Superstar or a regular dude doesn’t matter, very impressive.
What about the lives he took? Or are they ONLY dogs?
@@lorigravelin2081 he did go to prison. I don’t dismiss his crimes, but he did his time and seems genuinely remorseful.
