I’ve been to ComicCon Melbourne and it was big but not as big as in your Las Vegas vlog. I like the space in the LV convention centre- Melbourne was elbow to elbow and VERY commercial. The wrestling was a surprise! Thanks for sharing Miro 😊
Exactly, wasn't it really roomy? I liked that there was so much space to walk around in at this one. Haha, yeah there were a few surprises and wrestling was for sure one of them! But I liked it - it was a lot of fun :D Cheers!
Do you get as many cosplayers in Sweden as the US? It's so popular here and it's one of the things I enjoy most from conventions. I'm not sure if you heard of the Pinball Hall of Fame and Meow Wolf's Omega Mart while you were here but I think you might enjoy those two also if you ever happen to come back to Vegas. Great video as always! 🙂
Oh absolutely! In fact, I'd say that there are even more cosplayers at the Swedish cons. And yeah I heard about both the Pinball Hall of Fame and the Omega Mart. I just might have looked for free activities to do in Vegas, for an upcoming video ;) Omega Mart was not free of course, but at least the Pinball one was included :)
You are an adult who has a passion for geeky things. I'm uncertain whether your attendance at all these conventions is a result of your job duties or just a personal interest. I don't judge anyone's interests, and I acknowledge that everyone is unique (smile). Of course, creating video content is a completely different story. I attempted to view your earlier videos from a few years ago. You looked much younger four years ago (smile), and your speaking skills improved a lot compared to what you do now. By the way, your subscriber number is increasing, and I hope you keep up the excellent work and bring us more intriguing content.
It's just my personal passion for geek stuff - I don't even show all of the things I attend! I have a feeling that I'll never grow up... Except that I look older each year unfortunately! But thanks a lot - I hope that I can find even more interesting and unique things to show in the future :D
I hope you packed your ruby slippers 👠 to get yourself back to Sweden safely. The costumes are amazing, and it's nice to see people enjoying their passions in life. However, my brain makes me wonder how they use the bathroom (I'm just weird 🤪)
That's actually a really good question! For most people it's a whole project just to go to the bathroom with a costume on. Especially big ones, or full body spandex and stuff like that :D I did get back home, thankfully, and it wasn't even through a tornado. Just a darn long airplane ride ^_^
I think they should have a world geek convention once a year in different countries for people to unite and experience the differences and similarities. I’m glad you had a good time, from watching your other convention videos this on did look a lot more commercialized. Stay safe till next time
That would be SO much fun really... But yeah I had a blast going to this one and observing all the similarities and differences. Haha, guess maybe I shouldn't have tried to shoehorn it in to the Vagabond channel, since it's not what people typically like - but I loved it at least :D
I suspect that geek in Texas might have noticed a bit of a Swedish feel to some of the geeks here. Sometimes you interview people, and I've wondered if their mannerisms are because they are geeks or because English is not their first language in Sweden. (Even though most Swedes have a better grasp on the language than many here 😉.) But some of the interviews, here, seemed more along the lines of, "I'm awkward!" -- and I would have likely sounded like that, too. So perhaps it's another unifying trait among geeks no matter where they are. DreamHack Dallas happens next weekend...and I think we had Texas Frightmare Weekend (a horror con) last weekend [definitely the one before]. Lvl Up has a different feel than some of the bigger cons, here...but I'm guessing this was filmed on the first day before it got packed? Regardless, I'm so glad you got to experience a U.S. geek con. Too bad we can't teleport so you could attend more!
Haha, yeah I definitely got the same vibe from some of the people - we're all just as introverted and awkward, despite where we come from. Sort of :D Ooh, nice! I would have loved to see both of those cons. It's 2024 now - we were promised teleportation and flying cars, but all we get is cell phones. But yeah, I really hope I can attend some of the big ones too one of these days!

Not my thing but thank you for sharing your adventure . . .
I understand! This is a bit of a niche interest for me - but I promise to have more non-geeky stuff coming up after this one ^_^
Yes, beer and guns are so American lol
Haha, not sure if you're sarcastic or not but I think it's true at least :D
