Queen Elizabeth II has died at the age of 96, after reports she was under medical supervision earlier this morning. This is the full coverage from ABC News.
agreed. my mother grew up in a Commonwealth realm (Bermuda), and growing up it was always tradition to watch her Christmas Day speech. this Christmas won’t be the same without tuning in to her 😢
This is so sad 😞 😔 She lived a long life. Just imagine all the things she has seen. Things that has come and gone... lovely woman.. may the QUEEN REST IN PEACE
My mother is the same age and she has seen many changes herself. Mom does remember king George and Queen Mary, Edward the 8th. King George and Queen Elizabeth the queen mother as well as Elizabeth and now Charles
You never realise how much a person has done until after they have died. She has been an ambassador for world peace and all politicians have been in awe of her, even Obama who was sceptical until he and Michelle met her. RIP fantastic lady.
I was at work when I received a notification of the doctors being concerned about Her Majesty's health, and I thought "NO-WE CAN'T LOSE HER." When I got home-I learned about Her Majesty's death on CNN, and I just started crying.
My mom was born the same year she passed the day before her 97th birthday 2023. No my father passed in 2001. So I'm as they say an orphan. But life goes on. I met her and Prince Philip at the Whitehouse in 1976 thanks to President and Mrs Ford. And during the Jamestown celebration in Virginia. She had a iron clad photographic memory. She walked over to me. "I remember you. It was at the Whitehouse in 1976" I said yes mam. I said your majesty You haven't aged a bit. She smiled. Prince Philip gave me a thumbs up.
Sou brasileira, me criei ouvindo falar na Rainha Elizabeth II. Era uma Rainha digna que carregou o " fardo" com maestria , serinadade . Ela é sem dúvida, uma das mulheres mais importantes do século XX e XXI.
😢😢I knew that she was acting like a very ill and had cancer ♋ in her bones and I have lost my cat Dakota who died last Oct 28, 2022. She took him up with him to are family 👪 members who are on the same way as well so I had to deal with the situation of moving out of my apartment complex prison apts complex.
Many cultures refer to death in this way, the Japanese feel that life is simply a passing gust of wind, that disturbs treetops for a moment, then might be seen briefly far away, causing trees to bend again. We are temporary: it's hard to understand, but worth embracing, not sadly, not in fear, driving us to do something, anything. The most we can hope for is to be remembered.
Why are you so pressed about it?? It's been used FOREVER and probably won't change. It's a gentler way of saying someone has died. I personally MUCH prefer the wording of that compared to the rough and rather cold feeling "(insert name here) is dead."

She was 96! Get over it! We will all die. Some die lots younger than 50! For her, it is too late to change her destiny. She is either in the blessing of heaven with many other redeemed heavenly citizens. Or she is burning in hell and will go on suffering for eternity. For you, it is not totally decided yet as long as you have breath. Where will you be in another 100 years? Where will you be in another trillion years? That will be revealed when you too die! But now, you have a chance to evaluate that perspective. May you find Christ and His kingdom to be your eternal home... Because the alternative is not a good one!
She died, but the history of misery, poverty, slavery, occupation, invasion, inequality that the royalty has inflicted in humanity it's still here, and it will continue until the monarchy returns to people what they stole. Nothing be sad about it, on the contrary.
They can give back whatever they like, you will still have self serving governments who keep people in poverty. It's not the monarchy who run the country, it's parliament.
People like you need to get the f*ck over yourselves. The queen had ZERO part in that personally, so your comment is stupid just on that front. Second, whether you like it or not, every, and I do mean EVERY, group of people over history have colonized and destroyed each other over various resources. Native tribes did it to eachother, various predominantly black groups did it to each other, Arab groups (and their predecessors) did it to each other, etc, for THOUSANDS of years. Every single country with any kind of global power (and even those without) have a history of bloody colonization. We can't change it; we can only not repeat the same behavior. While said behavior is definitely not eradicated around the world, I would say that civilization has come a LONG way in that regard. Quit sitting around whinging about it from your keyboard. Also, I second what the other commenter said above me.
loved every Christmas speech, family orientated even through difficulties. we will all miss her x

I highly doubt *Former President* Obama was skeptical of Queen Elizabeth at any time. He is intelligent enough to know what that woman meant.

My condolences. I am deeply grieved.

"Passes away." Why do people use this silly phrase? People don't "pass away." They die.

Trump criminal
I think she liked Trump
When she wore a broach given to her by the Obamas on Trumps visit
He lost! Deal with it!

Okay, so when your family member or someone you cared about dies we’re just gonna tell you “get over it.”
What a wildly ugly comment. You should be ashamed of yourself.
I hate “she had a good life” types like you, Paul. Age is just a number. Loss is incalculable. Show some class.
No such thing as heaven or hell, you die and there's nothing after it, it's just like before you were born... NOTHING
@@eddytriana8060thats where youre wrong
Who cares? lol

The correct answer is no one 🤣
@@VoidLock1337 It might be correct to you. It doesn't make it true.
Stop being racists
