While working as a doctor in England I used to check the memory of hospitalized elderly..I was given 10 questions like what is ur name.ur date of birth etc.. I was very surprised to see that British people who have forgotten their own names due to old age dementia still remember the name of the queen... It was question no 8 and they always say.. oh doctor you don't know the name of the queen..?.... Elizabeth..........

When I heard the news the Queen had died it brought on feelings that I had dealt with when my own mother died at 89 in 2013. I considered my mother an earthbound Angel and I’ve always felt the same way about the Queen. It was in the way she carried herself and I could see that each step she took was full of grace. Phillip came to me today, and said it was time to go. I looked at him and smiled, as i whispered that "I know" I then turned and looked behind me. and saw I was asleep. All my Family were around me, and I could hear them weep. I gently touched each shoulder. with Phillip by my side. Then I turned away and walked, with My Angel guide. I have to say, I grew up with her as queen, and my mother was so close in age and looks and outlook, that her loss has been personal. Yet I cannot help but see how extraordinary her life was, and how she managed it with grace and wisdom. And also, latterly, how much Prince Philip may have meant to her - the close scrutiny that the cameras lay bare, do tell of how she felt to have such a handsome fella by her side - it looks like love, it endured, and his death was closely followed by hers. C'est la vie!
I was 7 at Elizabeth's Coronation. Watched it with my mom. Or rather, I watched my mom watch it. She was really glued to the tv that day. The comment she made was when the crown was placed on Elizabeth's head her head wobbled a bit, showing how heavy it was. She bore up under the responsibilities and was a light for all of us who want to be there for others and be of service in whatever way we choose, or chooses us in some cases.
Her smile was so open and happy … everywhere she went . At 21 I was at university , no worries in the world … she took on the burdens before she even became queen . Her parents raised someone exceptional. My condolences not only to her family but to all of us who feel that we have lost someone dearly loved that we didn’t even know ….
I enjoyed the documentary very much. There's much we can learn from Queen Elizabeth´s life, her devotion to her job, and how only death kept her apart from her duty. She devoted her entire life to serving her people in the most amazing and dignified way. "He who does not live to serve does not deserve to live", she stood by it until her last breath.
An amazing woman. We are witnessing history. She lived through most of my history books. What a legend. I admire her life of service to her country. God embrace the Queen.
@Bela D who ever said anything about an argument, it appears that you do not know what that is due to your application of the word considering the context!! 🤔🤔🙄
At first, when I checked the duration of this documentary, I thought I do not have this much time now, maybe I'll just see it for a few minutes and then save it for later. But, I was so engrossed watching it, it is so well made, I did not realize it just ended...not just the documentary, but her reign as well.
She was a beautiful woman who carried and managed a LOT of responsibility. My prayer for the family now that the Queen has transitioned, is that they will forgive each other, united and continue building a great Monarchy for generations to come! It can be done.
OUTSTANDING Queen! Totally subservient, ...she denied herself and bared her cross right to the end! From where l stand, she was blameless. There will never be another quite like her. May God receive her with a _''Well done good, and faithful servant''_ ~ Matthew 25 ; 23 As The Lord Wills.
"The question a lot of people here in Britain are asking is where's The Queen?" The Queen was where she was supposed to be. She was with her devastated grandsons. ONE TIME she put her family first. ONE TIME! She made the correct decision in waiting to speak publicly about it. Very good documentary. I will forever miss Her Majesty The Queen. She was simply one of a kind. The best mankind had/has to offer. May she rest in eternal peace.
When I first heard of Diana's death & the Queen & family at Balmoral, my thought was that the boys would have time to grieve in private before having to keep their composure in public. IMO that was a wise decision made out of love & support of the boys.
I’m American, and I dreamed I learned some information that the Queen needed to know. So, The next day I had an audience with the Queen, and it was so vivid and real, and she was so kind and polite, I always felt I had actually met her. Bizarre 😮

Queen Elizabeth II - may she rest in peace. I wrote to the late Queen eleven years ago and she responded. I still have that acknowledgement. Imagine that, and I am not even British. I have written to other leaders, including President Biden, none of whom acknowledged my correspondence. Her response to an ordinary person is what made her great and I shall always be grateful to her for doing that.
It's so interesting that she actually read common people's letters. Please tell us what did you write about and what her response was? I'm very curious. I loved her very much even though i'm not British.
In Memorium of Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor (1926-2022), Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, daughter of King George VI… May her essence peacefully return to the universal abstraction that prescribes the cosmos as brilliantly as were the 70 years she ruled her noble Kingdom. Long Live the King! - Charles III
Wonderful sentiment to read. Although she did not, nor did her ancestors, "rule" anything. She reined. In other words, she occupied a position of representation.
I will never forget meeting the queen on her 80’th birthday tour, it was at Harewood House. I was a serving police officer at the time and was appointed to greet Her Majesty upon her arrival. She extended her hand to shake mine and we exchanged a few pleasantries regarding the tour and the weather 😂 it was a beautiful sunny day and the crowds were huge. She went into the house. I was really surprised how small she was in real life. I will cherish my memories of that day fondly. She was an amazing lady, she dedicated her life to her people for over 70 years, she was a formidable woman and had the ability to relate to people and to relax them in her presence, I was so nervous my knees were knocking together 😂 I will miss her so much, she reminded me of my grandmother. Rest in peace your majesty, you deserve a rest now. 😭🇬🇧💔👏🏻😭🇬🇧💔👏🏻😭🇬🇧💔👏🏻 Edit: Thank you for all the likes and comments, that in itself is truly amazing. 🙏🏼🥰🇬🇧👑
🥲 I saw her when she did a tour of the country, in a small town, Ashington. I waved at her and I was only about 8 at the time on my great-grandfathers shoulders. I shook hands with Prince Philip. I feel so sad she's gone she was a lovely Queen and wonderful woman, a great example.
Thanks for sharing your story of meeting the great Queen. I live in America and never met her in person, but I always wanted to. I look forward to meeting her in Heaven.
Truly a Legendary woman, her name will live on forever. We will probably never see her like again. Consider ourselves lucky to have lived during her time. Rest in peace good Queen.💖💖
I just found this and read your post. I see you birthday as a way to honour her memory and celebrate knowing you even today have this special bond. It’s the most beautiful way to celebrate and for those of us who lived in her lifetime. Think how blessed we are. You celebrate. Her late Majesty would love that.
Blessings to Queen Elizabeth’s family and those who loved her so much. She lived a great history of an outstanding life dedicated to the good of others.
I'm American and technically have no Queen or King, but I have always felt she was my Queen. I mourn with those in England and the Commonwealth. I'm not quite sure why I am so emotional, but I feel like I knew her too. She's the only British Monarch I've ever known and she was a great Queen. May she rest in peace alongside Prince Phillip.
It was her time to go. All of us has a time and date for life’s common denominator. The Queen was a phenomenal and great woman. Kind hearted, thoughtful and compassionate.
Though Elizabeth II was Britain's beloved Queen, her boundaries reached far beyond Great Britain. Her love, examples, teachings, life's experiences, charity, kindness and humor have touched the hearts of all people. We loved her too. Thank you to the Royal Family, and to the British people, for sharing her with the world. Note of applause: what a grand farewell to the Queen. Nobody does it like the Brits. The day before she died my history teacher was talking about her saying how she is immortal and will never die then the next day.... RIP, she was not just a Queen, she was a monument, she was a love-filled, funny, and kind soul.
She seems to have been there like forever. To think that she met so many great personalities from all over the world, is amazing. She was like a living fossil that reminded us of the distant past. RIP.💔💐

I am an American, a Pakistani American. I loved Her Majesty The Queen and feel her passing with deep grief. Hers was a life of service. For most of us who revered Her Majesty, the loss will be felt for a very long time, perhaps even forever. For this member of a commonwealth nation, Her Majesty epitomised a phrase I always attributed to Her - Majesty in Service. Her Majesty The Queen showed us every day what Majesty in Service is, what it encompasses! She never received nor ever wanted a day off, and served her Nation and the Commonwealth with such beautiful Grace and Dignity! The world will miss her. We mourn her loss and pray for Her and Prince Philip. I pray that She is now with her beloved Prince. I want to say Thank You for Your Loving Service! May You Rest in Peace with your beloved husband. We will miss you always.

And also, latterly, how much Prince Philip may have meant to her - the close scrutiny that the cameras lay bare, do tell of how she felt to have such a handsome fella by her side - it looks like love, it endured, and his death was closely followed by hers. C'est la vie!

They Are Together Again R. I. P.

Hello Theresa how are you doing today and your family wishing you Merry Christmas and Happy New year 🎉
"The question a lot of people here in Britain are asking is where's The Queen?" The Queen was where she was supposed to be.
Can I ask you a question hope you don’t Mind??
hello how are you doing?

Wow that's awesome!
What was it about?
Wow
It's so interesting that she actually read common people's letters. Please tell us what did you write about and what her response was? I'm very curious. I loved her very much even though i'm not British.
That was awesome that the queen responded to your letter!
In Memorium of Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor (1926-2022), Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, daughter of King George VI…
May her essence peacefully return to the universal abstraction that prescribes the cosmos as brilliantly as were the 70 years she ruled her noble Kingdom.

She was an amazing lady, she dedicated her life to her people for over 70 years, she was a formidable woman and had the ability to relate to people and to relax them in her presence, I was so nervous my knees were knocking together 😂
I will miss her so much, she reminded me of my grandmother.
Rest in peace your majesty, you deserve a rest now. 😭🇬🇧💔👏🏻😭🇬🇧💔👏🏻😭🇬🇧💔👏🏻
Edit: Thank you for all the likes and comments, that in itself is truly amazing.

Thank you for the reminiscence. It was pleasure to read.
What a treasured memory ❤️
Thanks for sharing your story of meeting the great Queen. I live in America and never met her in person, but I always wanted to. I look forward to meeting her in Heaven.
Truly a Legendary woman, her name will live on forever. We will probably never see her like again. Consider ourselves lucky to have lived during her time.
Rest in peace good Queen.💖💖
Margaret: 'Does this mean you're going to be queen?' Elizabeth: 'Yes, one day.' Margaret: 'Oh, poor you.' Says it all.
It does rather!
However, she made the most of it!
We will miss her dignity and majesty. There will never be another like her. So great full to live during her reign.
I have respect for her. She was on the front lines of WWII alongside her parents. She was not a coddled and pampered aristocrat.
My birthday will seem even more empty now. It was a joy to share the same day of the year with the Queen 👑. 💜

I suppose its like Americans finding out chicken Mcnuggets are no more. You know its bad for you but you still crave it.

@Lucy Duplantier - Just England and the Commonwealth? Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are in mourning too.
She couldn't live further without Prince Philip!!! He was her everything, that's why she decided to join him in heaven!! Bless you Queen Elizabeth!
It was her time to go. All of us has a time and date for life’s common denominator. The Queen was a phenomenal and great woman. Kind hearted, thoughtful and compassionate.

For most of us who revered Her Majesty, the loss will be felt for a very long time, perhaps even forever. For this member of a commonwealth nation, Her Majesty epitomised a phrase I always attributed to Her - Majesty in Service.
