Ya chopping and chipping can get repetitive but I enjoy seeing the process. Mostly I enjoy how you think out loud about what your plans are.

if you want to live underground then after you kill the elder you can undermine their temple and live in there :)

20:38 I've heard that they only respawn if you kill all of the boar that spawn at all of the boar stones. That said, I think its just a myth, and even if it isnt it's not exactly feasible to wipe out all boar stones just to cause yours to respawn.

I dont think trolls spawn outside of Troll Caves, however Skeletons do spawn outside of dungeons so workbenches can stop those.
Have you thought about building under the Elder spawn??? It's indestructible so you won't have to worry about trolls hitting the rock you live under and it's pretty big
I could give it a try. Honestly, the fact that it's indestructible kinda makes me not want to though......
i've build below the elder altar before, it's a great and safe location
I wanna be safe, for sure, but protected by unbreakable structures... hmm, idk...

Even though Mistlands killed my love for the game, I still love watching you play it with such enthusiasm. 👍
Mistlands is tough, but I don't find it to be any worse than walking into the swamp was the first time, or the plains.
I think people are feeling it is harder because they've played long enough they forget how tough the new biomes were the first time they encountered them.
You can't go in without prepping properly and you will have some, maybe even many corpse runs while you figure it out and upgrade your gear, but trust me, Mistlands are doable.
I'm getting to be right there with GenXer. I absolutely love Valheim (over 500 hours), but I'm finding Mistlands incredibly annoying. The terrain makes it super easy to get stuck and killed by the new mobs. Creating gear for survivability requires that you go through at least a couple Infested Mines which have rooms filled with 1 and 2 star mobs that instantly stun lock and kill you. The area really needs to be rebalanced to make it explorable and fun.
@@frostynomad i have not had much issues in the mistlands and i've been exploring it with fenris gear, i didn't know stunlocking was a thing
@@therizen4253 If you're enjoying the Mistlands, great for you. For myself and a fair amount of other players it's more annoying than it is fun. Getting cornered by several hard hitting mobs and perma-staggered (stunlocked) to death is incredibly frustrating. Then trying to do a corpse run back there to get your (fully leveled) gear is equally frustrating if not more so. I've enjoyed the challenge of new areas like the swamp and plains, but at least in those you had some room to maneuver.
