Goodbye, “El Tractor”!

Known for his incredible diesel engine and constant presence at the front of the peloton, from where he put an end to the hopes of dozens if not hundreds of breakaways, Tim Declercq will leave Soudal Quick-Step after seven beautiful and memorable years - but before doing that, he looked back on his time with the Wolfpack.

My wife always asked "where’s the tractor" when she would peek in to watch a race. We all loved seeing a huge smile while pulling along the best cyclist in the world. Wonderful character in the peloton

Great man in sport, discarded the way manager QS is doing it is at the end if the day disgusting. Patrick need to go. DT of cycling . Rootless no need for his presence in today's sport. My opinion. Thank you Tim for your service ! Have good retirement whatever you are going to do .Cheers

De ploegleiding van QuickStep heeft een merkwaardige manier van afdanken van gouden pionnen. Of het nu een CX-legende is, een sprinter die bijna het leven liet voor QS, en nu de meest trouwe en stabiele trekker van de hele ploeg. Moet niet plezant zijn om zo afgedankt te worden.
