Since the USMC takes about a week of their training to focus entirely on the Corps history, I would say the only advantage the Corps has now is deployment speed. But that's still not necessarily as fast as Army Airborne.

Clone assassins were bred in secret and were trained to kill jedi. They often spared with the jedi. They mostly used melee weapons and were only deployed after order 66. The only other clones who acted like assassins were the Covert Ops Troopers and other spec ops units.

Another thing about Galactic Marines, on one occasion their commander actually told his men to fight the the droids with their bare hands when they ran out of ammo. They won the battle.
A squad of experienced (?) Death Troopers had trouble to kill a blind guy. The first time Delta Squad was deployed they assassinated a geonosian officer; destroyed a droid factory; They inflitrated, sabotaged and destroyed a separist capital ship. All of it in the same day.
Death troopers were glorified body guards and thats it. They couldn't even kill a blind man who was walking slower than a grandma lol. The empire was utter shit in its later days. The only time the empire was good at its job was when the clones of the 501st were still active. After the first death star blew up the empire went to shit. And the deathtroopers are garbage. They are bodyguards and they try to act tough.

The Galactic Marines always stood out to me for some reason, probably because I thought that the Ki-Adi Mundi scene was the best of the Order 66 scene in RotS. In terms of the Knights of Ren, I'd have to agree with you SE. I personally don't see the KoR being Force users, outside of Kylo of course. I do wonder how the KoR would be able to defeat the Jedi in Luke's Order, but if Finn could hold his own against Kylo, why shouldn't the KoR do the same against some new Jedi. Republic Commando was just awesome, shame we didn't get a sequel. Maybe we'll get an Imperial Commando game in the near future...PLEASE!!! Though I miss blasting battle droids compared to the rebels
one is a unit of elite shock troops specialized in fighting in all manner of harsh environments and with armor suited to that task, known for their fearless reputation and extremely disciplined but at the end of the day still front line troops. the other are a group of elite special forces trained in all manner of hand to hand combat, demolition, infiltration, assassination techniques etc. trained to survive, physically superior to normal clones as well as with much better and more special training in a wide area of expertise, on top of this commandos have armor that is also suited for all manner of environments, helmets have their own limited air supply and can seal against all manner of toxins. on top of this their armor is far more durable that standard clone armor which is itself very durable and in some instances superior to later stromtrooper armor (different means of protection, both do the job) but their armor is also equipped with it's own deflector shield, as well as wrist video blades and the commandos weapon systems are also far superior. That being said if it was a front line engagement with thousands of soldiers on each side the marines would win hands down, but in a one on one, or a squad vs squad scenario the commandos would win every time no contest. really not even worth a video if you understand who both of these soldier groups are.
I would say yes and no. Some units within the 501st were really good and others were shit. Just like in the Marines, some units were good some were shit.
Actually the ones transferred were still considered elite but they weren't up to Commander Bacaras standards and the 501st had the highest casualty rate

Captain Rex is one the original Clones trained by Alpha ARC troopers who were indefinitely one of the most skilled Clone Troopers in the GAR. A Single Alpha ARC can probably take on an entire Commando Team on his own.

Training wise they are evenly matched as both the Spartan IIs and Republic Commandos were both specially selected at a young age and both went through the most brutal training to become the best soldiers possible. However despite being so similar I am pretty confident the Spartan IIs would come out ontop due to their augmentations plus their MJOLNIR armor which gives them a considerable advantage over the commandos, energy shields or no. It would still be a very evenly matched fight however, but the Spartans in their MJOLNIR are much more agile which would win them the day.

The RC's, as well as the ARC and Null Arc's were not the same genetically as the other Clone troopers. Their genome was less filtered than the standard clone and closer to Jango Fett's unaltered genome.
The bit about clone commando training really highlights how immoral and obscene making a clone slave army and then fight your war for you is. So you'd take small numbers of them, segregate them from the rest, and have them spend their entire life undergoing the equivalent of SAS training (something you normally volunteer for btw, these clones weren't exactly asked if they were ok with it) with lots of good torture thrown in for funsies :D And live fire exercises so they better learn fast! All this for a war they had no stake it and whose government (republic) gave 0 fucks about them and would have been disposed of after as droids anyway had the empire not happened and Vader basically decided to make his own personal legion a clone trooper retirement camp. How more clones didn't end up being complete psychos is a mystery. I always figured the main thing that kept the clones morality in check was each other and that they were trained+brainwashed to care for the group, not themselves but these isolated 4 man squads didn't even have that and due to their world limited to their 3 brothers, these squads would face massive crisis any time they failed a live fire exercise and lost 1-2 members. You'd think at least one clone commando squad in training would have tried to run away at some point.
I think in a direct fight the Galactic Marines would win as they are a Coorp and the Republic Commandos are only 10 thousand men. Or what would you say?

Null ARCS are good at intel and covert operations. Alpha ARCS are good at blowing shit up by themselves. Commandos are good in a squad and are basicly navy seals.
So republic commandos are basically the modern definition of a special warfare unit. The galactic marines are like a synergy of force recon and the army rangers.
With that being said is there also a starwars version of the the CIA'S SAD/SOG where they take the deadliest from both and turn them into even more lethal covert paramilitary operatives who operate missions so secret,critical, and risky most jedi aren't allowed to know about them or go on them.
Clone commandos outclass galactic marines by a long shot one commando alone is a terror, to where marines work in large groups the only clones who could give commandos a run for their money would be ARC troopers

Alpha ARCS would win (if they were in a squad) Regular ARCS would easily lose to the commandos.
ARCs helped in training the Commandos so that would be a bit unfair

The RC's, as well as the ARC and Null Arc's were not the same genetically as the other Clone troopers. Their genome was less filtered than the standard clone and closer to Jango Fett's unaltered genome.

The bit about clone commando training really highlights how immoral and obscene making a clone slave army and then fight your war for you is.
So you'd take small numbers of them, segregate them from the rest, and have them spend their entire life undergoing the equivalent of SAS training (something you normally volunteer for btw, these clones weren't exactly asked if they were ok with it) with lots of good torture thrown in for funsies :D And live fire exercises so they better learn fast! All this for a war they had no stake it and whose government (republic) gave 0 fucks about them and would have been disposed of after as droids anyway had the empire not happened and Vader basically decided to make his own personal legion a clone trooper retirement camp.
How more clones didn't end up being complete psychos is a mystery. I always figured the main thing that kept the clones morality in check was each other and that they were trained+brainwashed to care for the group, not themselves but these isolated 4 man squads didn't even have that and due to their world limited to their 3 brothers, these squads would face massive crisis any time they failed a live fire exercise and lost 1-2 members.
You'd think at least one clone commando squad in training would have tried to run away at some point.

Clone Commando are more elites then the 501st and I don't really understand why Rex is not one of the clone commandos and clone commandos vs death troopers I would say clone commando would win in a battle

BF2 was really bad with there units. The galactic marine in BF2 was known as a commander and used a shoulder fired z-6.
For anyone who is dumb and is a kid. The 501st were an infantry unit. The commandos were navy seals / delta force. And yes the death troopers were body guards who tried to act tough but could not kill a walking blind man (LOL)

Null ARCS are good at intel and covert operations. Alpha ARCS are good at blowing shit up by themselves. Commandos are good in a squad and are basicly navy seals.

With that being said is there also a starwars version of the the CIA'S SAD/SOG where they take the deadliest from both and turn them into even more lethal covert paramilitary operatives who operate missions so secret,critical, and risky most jedi aren't allowed to know about them or go on them.

So was I. It's common sense. 501st was elite infantry. They weren't special forces. Also I ask for age because most kids think that the 501st is the best and yaddda yaddah. I mean look at gregor for an example. He was one dude and took down a battalion of droids. Reg troopers were trash compared to Commandos.
